La Tortuga Feliz has definitely improved since opening. Great location and being open late is also a big plus.

Food was ok... I m from California so Mexican food just doesn t compare out here. I got the steak tacos and the steak was good but he tortillas were not.

Amazing family owned business! Right away when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and they took my order than and there.

The flan is amazing and I will definitely come back to try their chocolate cake flan!

Went in and was very satisfied with the service and the food! Also wanted to give Dina one of the cashiers working two thumbs up she made sure my drinks were filled and all my needs were met. Definitely will continue to bring my service to La Tortuga Feliz.

Yes, very good. They were very nice with me, and very interesting in making sure I enjoyed the food. Tacos, burrito, tamale, horchata and salsa were all actually very good. The salsa is exceptionally good, and if you order an extra one, you will most likely need to pay for it, which is totally understandable and acceptable. It has a fantastic taste, and spice. Small, clean place. I give the green light to stop here for lunch.

Excellent food, decent prices. Try the Beef Mileneza.... out of this world. And the home made pesole on weekends is great! We love this place!

Delicious food, awesome people, and quick service. This was my first visit to Romeoville, and this lunch at La Tortuga Feliz made it memorable! Definitely coming back when I can.

It s a small place with everything all around very good from the service to the cleanliness and the food of course. The food is not overdone, it s basic but good.

Tacos were decent but right after I ate them I felt like throwing up, then I ended up with a stomach virus for a week and ended up in the hospital because of them, wouldn t eat them again, no disrespect! but I think I ate bad meat.

If you're in the mood for a pozole, look no more... This place has both red and white pozole. I had the white pozole last weekend and my only gripe was the bowl could've been bigger. Lol No in all reality, check this place out and you won't be disappointed. My family loved the food and the tacos Al Pastor was top notch. We'll definitely be coming back and making this place our go to spot!!

I love this place. I came here with my Grandma and Aunt before and it was perfect. I came here today a little before they opened and they were so kind as to open their doors to let us buy some spicy carrots and guacamole and chips. They weren't upset about it. I appreciate their hard work. Please whether your thinking Mexican food or not please please please go here!!! Thanks again for the great service!

The steak for their tacos is so tender. Not like other tacos joints that have a ton of fat. Very authentic. Salsa is delish. Prices are super reasonable. Everyone is super nice and we love supporting our local family business. So glad we have awesome tacos right down the street!

Location was clean. Service was timely. However the food was mediocre and bland. Even the carrots themselves lacked herbs and seasoning. This is my first time visiting this establishment. I think we will stick to TacoDale (only a 2 minute drive from this location).

Really good the meat wasn't greasy nice sized for the price. I wanted some guacamole without onion they made me some fresh killer!! Small inside but there is outdoor seating.

Best Mexican food around! I would like to say that you won't be disappointed with their steak tacos, but honestly you won't be disappointed with any of their food. Prices are very reasonable also! Service is wonderful and they make you feel like part of their circle of friends!

Thanks to the turtle for having such good tacos for 2 weeks, and now until the omelette shrunk and the truth was that it was a very ugly disappointment after such a good and rich encounter when they just opened and now I can't even explain the taste of the tortilla....

We loved every dish. Happy to have found this place. Even the rice and beans were quite flavorful. Their Salsa may look watery, but the flavor is nice and hot.
