Yum food, nice friendly service, can be quite busy sometimes but the wait isn't long. Nice and clean.

Very nice pasta. Great pizza, crust was really nice. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed everything except the quantity of the wine, was supposed to be 150 ml. But I don t really think it was right amount. Will try one more time.

If I could give more stars I totally would! Came here for a last minute birthday dinner outing was craving the steak, mushroom sauce chips and salad! They did not disappoint food was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious even the mocktails were yummy. And customer service here was awesome waiters and staff super friendly and happy looks like they love their job. Highly recommend this place thank you for the yummy food and excellent customer service

The ambient toghether with service okish however sad that the icon cake lava cake and other desert on Sunday lunchtime already finished ...hmmm on a celebration day unexpected lost business guys we needed to go for desert diffrent place :(

The food was so bland completely tasteless we asked for some parmesan and chilli flakes but never received any and the absolute worst table in the house no offer of water even though every other table in the restraunt had some and have an entree and main arrive at the same time, never going back

Always good, great fresh pasta friendly staff, great for kids, fair prices, parking can be an issue but this is the same problem for all if Parnell shops, drawings for kids, you can customise your pizza to your likings

Mediocre food. Very rude owner. We informed staff about being Zomato gold member before ordering. Staff informed that we need to redeem when we make payment. After meal, we went to make payment when we were told that we should have redeemed before ordering. He was very rude when it was his staff who was at fault. Very dissapointed with the treatment. Will never go back to this place.

Great place. Price was really reasonable. Ordered the pizza and spaghetti. They were way better than takeaway fast foods. Also staffs are really well trained and mannered. Best of all, they are kids friendly.

Located in the heart of Parnell town centre easy to get to wether driving, busing or walking. I rung ahead and got a table. From the first time I went into the restaurant they followed level 2 restrictions carefully and were very pleasant. The food was yummy and quick to come out. I ordered the garlic and cheese pizza small, apple cider and Porter house steak medium rare with mashed potato, seasonal vegetables and vino bianco sauce. I highly recommend La Porchetta Parnell. Thank you La Porchetta one you have one happy customer happy to return soon.

Food was lovely. Really enjoyed the salmon creamy pasta especially. Service was excellent too.

Lovely place for a nice, Italian dinner.
One of the best Italian food restaurants in Auckland in my opinion. Sometimes you ll need to call and ask if there are any available tables for dinner before going - because sometimes people come in large groups and stay for a really long time but some other tikes you could just pop up and ask for a table!

Loved their Spaghetti del Pescatore! Waiting Service very good. Enjoyable, sure to return!

TLDR: Great place for a team lunch, keeps everyone happy and at a reasonable price.

Details: We had a team lunch here this week, needed something quick and easy. I booked online and they confirmed the next morning we were still a go.

Food was alright, nothing amazing and has def dropped a bit since I was last here. One meal too way to long to come out. For most part they did a good job as it only looked like there was one chef on.

Service a tad lacking but the guy did his best. My fav part was coming to pay. They seemed to have issues with their existing Eftpos setup so after a bit of fluffing about they finally got to the point of taking all our money, but it was a bit of fluff that could have not been thre had they setup their equipment prior to opening.

All round a good place for teams or families wanting simple italian on a good price point.

Favourite restaurant, sad that over the years the price has dramatically increased , i used to remember mains where $12 .00 average and now their around $20.00

Tasty, family friendly and good price for great quality food. My only struggle was finding a car park during peak meal times.

A couple of nice staff members, my warm pumpkin salad was raw, but chips were yum. I wouldn't go back as they didn't want to rectify the problem after I showed them the pumpkin was hard, cold and uncooked.

Ordered through Uber eats. They gave me mushroom sauce instead of pepper sauce- I am severely allergic to mushroom sauce. Chip were cold. Steak was blue on one side and medium on the other, and would not refund me despite me immediately returning the meal. Very poor customer service

Sorry for the low mark, go there often but tonight the take away meal of spaghetti bolanaise was all spaghetti and very little meat. Tasty but no meat.. Disappointed.

One of our favourite places to eat. They offer some of the best pasta around. Highly recommend the food. Restaurant is clean and staff are friendly.

7 of us came here for a casual family birthday dinner where everyone ordered a variety of meals from pastas, seafood platter, pizzas, steak & we were all pleased with our delicious meals.
Reasonable prices & friendly staff, nice cosy cosy restaurant.
Parking is "park n display" on roadside or a few minutes walk to a carpark area. 5th star not awarded as polite server forgot our drinks which we got just before our meals came out.
Other than that, a great dinner :-)

Great cheap food ... Sometimes they ask you to hang on to your cutlery through different courses though, and food served warm. Waiter hadn't heard of ravioli. Fun place though.

Had a great Chicken Parmigiana. Be sure to book on the Friday/ Saturday nights though as it's always packed.

Enjoyed the food and the friendliness of the staff here. If you're in Parnell, head to this place for some pasta and pizza. Parking are available on-street or in a parking space a few blocks from the place.

The Italian diner, American style pizza. Very casual, to share a large pizza on one of the comfy booth. Affordable prices, a crowded family place on Fridays.

The service was quick and attentive. The environment was clean well ventilated and I liked the decor. By lunch time the movement was quiet. The variety of dishes very good and wait time too. I opted for pizza and it was best I ate in New Zealand. Just the wi-fi that despite having very strong signal second waiter does not work and neither pass password for you to verify the information. So if you need to work little at lunch time do not count wi-fi there. Enjoyed and will be back.

I had a well priced and solid Spaghetti Bolognese. Service was on point and the restaurant had a warm welcoming atmosphere. Seems like the perfect place to go and eat as a family or with friends. After looking at some of the pizzas on offer I did feel like I missed out :(

We been there twice. 5 stars for customer services (waiting staffs are super helpful and friendly) and food portions are generous to fill up your empty stomachs.

During our family's recent 2 weeks vacation in NZ North Island, we didn't come across that many Italian restaurants, especially ones that were reasonably priced. On the last day of our trip, we drove through Parnell, saw the restaurant and decided to eat there. The food was really good, especially the spicy pizza (see the pic) as recommended by the waiter. The pasta and risotto dishes we ordered were flavourful and portion-sizes were generous. They had a good dessert selection, but we were too stuffed to try. The waiter told us that La Porchetta is the largest Italian food chain in Australia & NZ. Will definitely look out for their restaurants in the future.

Food and service are great. Parking is relatively easy on the street. Booth seating is fairly tight though, not enough leg room. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

We go to this place semi-regularly because it's family friendly (and our kid really likes it). It's not high end by any means but it's consistent.

A great place to chill and enjoy great food. Service was great too; we just walked in and they tried to accommodate us as best they could. They did great.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant. It can be busy during Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. I highly recommend ordering the arancini balls (rice balls) as they are delicious and very filling. There pizza is also very nice. The setting contains some soft and casual booths that are nice.

The only edible thing was the garlic bread. The rest was literally not edible. We had ceasar salad and chicken and mushroom risotto. The salad was mainly stalks and they refused to poach the egg. The risotto was too spicy and had a bitter taste to it. It was the worst risotto I have ever had. It shouldn't have been spicy at all... it was chicken and mushroom!. Very, very disappointing. We were regulars here but will now head over to portofino instead.

My family and I love this place, always family friendly and on the ball, here they know about service.
I might be a little biased though.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Great food, excellent service, good option for large groups and families. My neice had a great birthday dinner and we appreciated the extra attention the children received.
