La Observatoria is a collective of feminist journalists and communicators who are dedicated to promoting gender equality, women's rights, and social justice through their work. Founded in 2015, the organization has quickly become a leading voice in the Latin American media landscape, providing critical analysis and commentary on issues that affect women's lives.

One of our core values at La Observatoria is intersectionality. We recognize that gender inequality cannot be understood in isolation from other forms of oppression such as racism, classism, ableism or homophobia. Therefore our work reflects an intersectional approach to feminism which acknowledges the diversity within women’s experiences.
Our content covers a wide range of topics including politics; human rights; health; culture; environment; economy among others with an emphasis on how these issues impact women differently than men due to gender inequalities.
