No ! Exhibition closed at 4 p.m. on 12/31 without the website being accessible in the afternoon, or mentioned on pages reporting the exhibition. I am one of the ten people who at least showed up for nothing! Pay off!

I saw two exhibitions at the Maison Rouge and the place is really great. Not too expensive, well organized, with a bar / snack organic pretty nice. I saw the show Neon and Under influences and each time, the reception was pleasant and interesting and original themes. A place to recommend.

Art center near the place de la Bastille in Paris. Exhibition programming of the highest interest. Contemporary art exhibitions. Bookshop outside but next to the Maison, very well stocked. Inside a small cafe.

Very good address, located in a street excessively circulated, so noisy. It is a haven of peace. The staff is kind and smiling. They really have a sense of service. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask them, they are very open and ready to answer you.
I will probably stay here again if I am in the area.

The collection of photographs by Marin Karmitz at the Maison Rouge is very rich and very interesting. It testifies to the sometimes very difficult life of men, women and children, through snapshots taken and it testifies to the interest that the collector takes in the history of the little people.

The maison rouge is a cultural center of great interest and its exhibitions are always very particular and never simple. Some voices say it in closing, and this would be very sorry because for me it has always been an inevitable appointment in my Parisian stays. Inside a nice cafe for a break.

The Red House is an atypical place offering thematic exhibitions always very sharp based on private collections. The place explores more than it visits. A coffee allows you to catch your breath.

Very beautiful and pleasant place. Fairly superficial and gimmicky exposure. No interesting work and a lot of gadget installations, polystyrene ball ground, UFO photos, uninteresting amateur drawings, screen too big, too close.

I discovered the Red House for the exhibition Neons and kept an excellent memory of the place: reasonable entries (5,50 reduced price or 8 full price), great scenography, small organic snack, and (oh happiness) not long or almost to go back to see the exhibition. The staging of the works, airy and arranged as in a gallery, makes the visit fluid and pleasant. The +: there is a photo booth "old fashioned" and we can leave for 2 with shots worthy of a Berlin trip (and that's great;))

Such a surprising place. Like going in the brain of someone else...not everyday you get the chance to do so. What I liked the most was probably the size of the gallery. Not too big and not too small. You don't get lost or hammered by the amount of art pieces. It is in my sense the perfect amount a brain can take.

I don't think of this place as an art museum but more like a really interesting hoarder's cave. Cool collection but helps to know French. I may have missed the local cultural references for some of the pieces entirely! The rose bakery is sorta expensive for what it is but the lunch is good. Save money by staying away from the desert section.

An exhibition space which we know will close permanently in October 2018. So come quickly to take two beneficial slaps: visit the Black Dolls exhibition (magnificent and amazing) and immerse yourself in Ceija's painting Stojja (moving exhibition).
Then you can say: "I went there and I will always miss the Red House"

Magnificent contemporary art center. Always offbeat and well documented choices. The black dolls exhibition is top notch, absolutely see the film in the basement. A real encounter. Between art and crafts.

Sadness. The foundation will close its doors in October after magnificent exhibitions for years. This exceptional place will be missed. I will avoid even the neighborhood to counter the nostalgia.

We do not really know what it is or what happens there. I asked the security guard who answered that it was closed. So I still do not know, it's a pity it may be interesting.
So 3 * while waiting to learn more.
