Pool area too small for so many guestrooms. Management lacking training in conflict resolution.
Bottom line...... Skip this resort.

Great location, great staff. Franklin at the bar is fantastic. Security is always visible, although I never felt unsafe, even off of the resort. Taxi drivers were great. Reasonably priced bus trips. The store at la Cabana sells the bus pass round trip for $5. We got those several times.

Poolside room. Very nice to have the kitchen available. The pool is great and the cabanas on Eagle Beach are perfect for viewing an amazing sunset!!

The staff are so very amazing! Everyone is very friendly and super helpful. I enjoyed the activities with Cathy and Paola, especially the rum and wine tastings.
Be prepared that the beach is across the street from the resort. It is not a long walk, but still across the street.
We are looking forward to going back again in February this year, 2017. We had such a nice time last year we decided to extend our stay this year to 3 weeks. We will be blissfully bored on the beautiful beach!
We just bought the day pass,for this hotel and it was fabulous,the pool was beautiful family-friendly, the children had a great time, o my God unfortunately I forgot to take some pictures so you guys could see it, is definitely worth the money, it was not that expensive but definitely, if you have a Saturday and you have children, and you don't know what to do with them take the opportunity bring, your own snack and buy the day pass

spent six nights .it was a perfect family getaway.enjoyment for every member of the family.looking forward to spend our vacation there again next year...hats off to the entire staff there...
Very clean & well maintained. All of the staff was very helpful & pleasant, especially Ernie, one of the bellmen! Pool area was great with the beach just across the street. Security on site was very visible. The casino was too smoky & not reflective of the quality of the hotel. We really enjoyed the stay! HINT: Avoid holiday weekends. Too crowded & couldn't buy even a Tylenol because the pharmacies were closed Easter Sunday & Monday. There is no "walmart" store on the island! (Which has its advantages!)
My sister and l visited this property and it was beautiful. The employees were very nice and polite. We occupied a studio that was very spacious, full kitchen, living room, and a patio with a beautiful view. The property was clean and the employees were very attentive to our needs. The beach is across a small street from the property so accessible. We totally enjoyed our stay on property as well as on the island for our first trip to Aruba.

La Cabana is perfectly located between the high rise hotels and downtown across from Eagle Beach. You can hang out at the pool with the kids or across street under a cabana. The hotel restaurant was very good. The bar has a happy hour twice a day....ask for Lilliana "La Colombiana" she has a smile and great drinks!!!!
Food is amazing in restaurants all around you, as well. Try Papamientos, the Lighthouse, Flying Fishbone, and Passions.... all with great ambience and delicious food.
Only con is the Avis rental. Avoid aggrevation and go somewhere else. The concierge will identify other places to rent a car if you ask. The Avis attendant is rude and nasty.... she was the only hiccup in our entire vacation.
Been to Aruba 6 or 7 times and this last time rented a four wheeler type device which had a roof covering and great suspension. Spent a whole day sightseeing around the island. Amazing time

We have been coming to La Cabana for over 20 years and consider this our home away from home. We just love everything about the resort and feel like everyone here is one big happy family!

The units are nicely furnished. I prefer the studio units. I don't like the 1 bedroom units because you enter thru the bedroom. The balconies are good for 2 people only. Too many people, not enough room at the pool or beach but that seems to be the norm at most resorts. The staff is friendly and helpful. Had an issue with not getting the unit I rented from an owner and found out I was not told the truth about why this happened.

2nd time at this resort and will come back again. Super friendly employees. Pool with bar and happy hour specials. Eagle beach right across the street with also a bar and u can charge to your room. Beautiful island.
We have been here 4 times and it is absolutely wonderful. The resort is awesome and eagle beach is the best beach I have ever seen.

We went with our 2 boy's and we all had a blast. The hotel was amazing the kids loved the pool and all the activities. We enjoyed the spa, casino and having a Cinnabon right down stairs was amazing lol. It was a great trip overall. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We will surely be booking another stay with them.

Enjoying our anniversary with family (ID & BRENDA) and our newfound friends (Andre and Angel from the ATL). What a celebration we had during our time here in Aruba. The staff is great, the food is awesome and the hospitality is bar none. Had an absolute ball in every area of the beach casino resort.
