It is a fraud hospital. Sion hospital is mostly famous for various scams like kidney transplant , exchanging post-mortem(autopsy) body , etc.

Very and always crowdest hospital and working member is not good

Worst experience...my father and mother both died here only....they did not take care of my parents....If proper treatment was provided initially my mother and father would be with us now.... limited ventilators available....and lots of patients always....they wait for the last stage of patients and then start treatment when nothing can be done
Some doctors are really good but most are inexperienced.....

Big hospital,it is also known as sion hospital.medical college is also there.no clinliness.very crowded hospital all the time.

Staff is Good construction work running all the time need cleaning

One of the best GOVT hospital everything is there regarding service but only need to clean inside and outside..it is irritating to see BMC people sitting inside nothing doing strongly recommend to give private contact for house keeping it will change overnight and need to be keep more security personnel

Saaf sfaai nhi hai and staff manager are not professional

No respect for patients no rules n regulations staff people are welcome first n other emergency case took after them I saw two security laughing on a person who asked what is J.J....

The public hospital is a boon for the residents of Mumbai. Located in the heart of the city it is always full of patients who are looking for low cost treatment.
The doctors are well trained, however the same cannot be said for the staff. However every person will help you. Easily noticeable from your car.

Good services.Doctors are good. Crowd is always there in OPD.

Management should be professional and polite, to control rush system should be perfect, lots of confusion are in patients mind there should be a proper help desk

I don't know about the teachings there but the office service is highly ridiculous. I wanted to have some detailed info with the physiotherapy department but then there is a lady who picks up the phone and replies nothing and also they pick the phone almost after 10 minutes of transferring a call. This is not expected at all.

Third class hosp ever seen .Went at 7.am today came back by 4.30 still no solution..They r justing sitting to do time pass.Interns r ridiculous. Toilet and the whole hosp is dirty and smelly. No one really cares here.I found this place waste to time.Better to go for other muncipal hospital.

Worst hospital ..death zone ..I have seen the ok condition patient being non operated and patient died ...they also have strategy like if patient is for long time they send him to chota sion the other hospital where the patient critically treated ...the patient are operated by new doctors for training purpose also the nursing staff are nursing school interns the patients are day care is done by them which is very risky as even critical patients are take care by them...please think before you admit..

My baby delivery done in hospital there are very good doctors.Very big thanks to Dr. jui from NNC unit was done vey good treatment for me.

I am Dr Anil husband of Dr Sujata working in sion hospital. The person who got good result will say good hospital & other will say bad hospital. Both are true. There is no such a big public hospital till 300 km from karjat kasara side. We have506 resident drs 48 Prof;89 APs;154 lecturers. 1750 bed strength which will now extend till 1900.If at Kalyan Thane Karjat Kasara such hospitals are developed then there will be less burden & hospital can serve still better .

Any way it's government hospital. Charges are normal.
Case paper procedures are easy .
24/7 doctor Available in the hospital campus.
Need not to be worried once to get treatment as admitted.
Staff is helpful..

They killed my father..he was admitted fine in Gastroenterology department for liver treatment..they kept him for a month. Then said need to do RFA operation,the day after the operation my dad felt severe pain in his stomach and was having difficulty in breathing at around 11pm, evey night there is no doctors in the ward no.4...doctor Pratik Sethiya was there till 11:30, at that time he saw my dad's condition but didn't give him oxygen, i told him that dad's body is getting cold and i couldn't felt his hand's nerve beat, he said 'thoda chal raha hai" and he left..then few sisters were there, they didn't do anything, i was clueless why these sisters are just seeing us. At 1am my dad said he needs oxygen then i asked head sister for it, she said we dont hv oxygen pipe, then i bought from outside, Then sister told me to put pipe into my dad's nose, it seems she doesn't know how to do it.. then i saw the oxygen pipe was for only nose (oxygen nasal cannula) but he needed oxygen mask (covering mouth), then i asked her to put oxygen mask but she didn't reply. At 2:30am i felt like he is giving up his life, i called sister, she called a doctor from different ward, she came and trying to pump into his chest for 5 minutes, that time he was taking breath..at 3am Dr.Pratik came and he put some pipe into his mouth, after 2-3 minutes he was not breathing, he said he is dead to due heart attack...he was very fine at 10pm and he gave his life at 3am infront of me, he didn't hv any heart problem, his ECG report was always good..it is very painful to see my dad dying, and i couldn't do anything..
SION HOSPITAL SUCKS. EVERYBODY IS SO RUDE EVEN DOCTORS. NO CLEANINESS, VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. U CAN'T ASK A DOCTOR QUESTION. EVERYONE TREATS PATIENT AND RELATIVES LIKES ANIMALS. WHENEVER HEAD DOCTOR COMES TO VISIT PATIENT AFTER 10 DAYS, THEY THROW US OUTSIDE THE WARD AND TELL US "BADE DOCTOR HAI DISTURB HO JAYENGE", THERE WERE SO MANY QUESTIONS OF RELATIVES WHICH IS NOT BEING ANSWERED..DR DEEPTI IS VERY RUDE...MOST OF THE MAMA'S FEEL THEY ARE THE KING OF THIS HOSPITAL, THEY WILL NEVER COME TO HELP AFTER EVEN BEGGING, there are many things which is to be told...ONE THING IS GOOD, WE GOT SOME FINANCIAL HELP FROM SOCIAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT..

Mumbai kaa sabse kachra hospital jahan dekhon wahin gandagi faili padi milegi.

One of the biggest and oldest general government hospital in Mumbai. Unbelievable rush of patients all the time. Waiting time is maximum for any treatment in the hospital. Every service and facility is stretched to the maximum. Which causes unnecessary tension and delay. In case you wish to visit/ use the facilities, switch off and keep moving through the system.

Doctors are good but dressing of operation patients are too bad

4 months back delivered in sion hospital.. beautiful baby girl... dr shikha abb unit is too good.. very kind and caring... Explaind all details about delivery... she is angel for me in corona times...sion hospital gynac ward is dirty but doctors are very good... Very much helpful...they don't rest and still care for patients... I will never forget...

People eating paan, gutkha have spitted on windows, stairs. No cleaning. Poor maintenance. The only better thing is it's a hospital, that's it...

Since, it's a Government hospital, there is less chance of expecting an smooth process. Meanwhile, the treatment is of better quality comparatively.
The OPD timing 7:45 AM to 11:30AM in morning and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in afternoon

Sion hospital is a good for pregnancy
I got good results thanks to all doctors.all are doing hard work.

But the Salary of Worker in X-Ray Department is 6000 RS Only...

Good for treatment but bad for higine and staff members are stupid..

If you come here first time for as an opd patient and no one with you then you will go though the hell. Almost every activity you need to be in queue. First you have to take 10rs challan then you have to take case paper then they give you a number of doctors cabin. For Some number like 20, 21 or 22 etc you have to take challan and case paper at 2nd floor. If doctor said you need ecg or other blood test you have to again go to ground floor and paid feed of rs 20 or more and again be in queue. Very very hectic. But once you reach at doctor you will get satisfied with it's quality and careful service. Need more cleaning and proper management.

Its like a slum. Relatives and family of patients just stay there in the passage and every where. Unhealthy. Unhygiene.

Such a worst service,all doctors who come for patients check up are all medical intern who are doing the mistakes to treat the patient and their mistakes results into patients death and they don't even bother.

Ward no. 1 not any proper managemebt done the behavior of staff is very bad
