L'Auberge Del Mar Resort & Spa Review

The location, staff, and room comfort are all wonderful! My only complaint is the resort fee (especially in the winter months).

L'Auberge is a special world all its own. It has gorgeous ocean views & a staff to match.

Great atmosphere, live music gets drowned out by all the people.

Amazing staff and we loved having an area to ourselves to enjoy our birthday celebrations. We had champagne and choice of chicken, salmon or steak. The meals were wonderful and I enjoyed the presentation. The sun got hot, so the waiter brought us another umbrella. Everything was perfect and we'll definitely be back again!!

Great location in Del Mar but a little pricey for the area.

Nothing can beat the sunset view here. New Year eve 2018 party was so crowded in their lobby. You can t really dance without bumping to ppl. Get your drink from bar first. Because once it closes at regular hour, the makeshift bartender booth has long line and they charge you double. Ask for a room that is away from lobby so it is not noisy. Music die before 1:30.

Beauty, service and excellent food. All added to a very happy memory.

Awesome and beautiful. Breathtaking views if the ocean. This is what San Diego is all about.

Went here for my 13 year wedding anniversary. Very chill. Very relaxing. Located just down the road from the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the L'Auberge Del Mar was located perfectly, not to far from a shopping center, freeway, and the beach. The resort itself was beautiful.

The only reason I cannot give this hotel a full 5 stars is because the TV in our room cut out on us a couple of times and the front desk didn't seem to care. Plus, we ended up paying $300 IN FEES upon checkout. Needless to say, the valet got no tip. One can only assume with those kinds of charges, that they get paid well enough already. Great vacation spot, just check your fees with a fine-toothed comb before, during, and after checkout.

The bar at L'Auberge Del Mar has an amazing view and great service. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Just an amazing hotel! Little on the pricey side but totally worth it. Kinda disappointing that they charge $35.00 a night to valley your car.

Nice place to stay. I ve been several years times. The valet staff are awesome. I always enjoy chilling for a sunset cocktail. Great location for a leisurely weekend in Del Mar...easy to walk everywhere!

The location is excellent and they consider every detail. Even Hamilton was welcome. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. You can walk just about anywhere and they have electric bikes you can borrow for further excursions. You don t want to miss the sunset from here.

Fun and exciting New Year's Eve party. Good DJ, fun dancing. I was particularly impressed with valet parking attendants. My boyfriend tipped the attendant who brought up the car. An attendant who knew he wouldn't receive a tip was gracious, ran to the car and opened the door for me, wishing me a good evening. This was the first nice thing that happened after midnight, setting the tone for the first day of the year. Thank you, who ever you are!

Hotel was awesome. Some of the service, not so good.

not the quality of service expected. very poor attention to the customer. no detail oriented. had to wait more than 1 hour to have the suite ready. got into my room at 5:45pm. not even complimentary water bottle... bartender not qualified. had to go grab my own towel when ask for one...and on and on. I will not recommend this hotel. way to expensive for such a poor quality service. Laurence Popp

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the intimate nature of L' Auberge. The staff (everyone) was professional, very helpful & thoughtful for the time we drove up till we drove away. The "Food" was amazing! We ate several meals at the Kitchen 1540. I love the personalized attention from the staff & especially the chef explaining the dishes. An outstanding wine selection. It was a great time.

I have been the DJ for many weddings and parties at L'Auberge. The outside deck had a beautiful view and there are a few indoor reception rooms. We have stayed here and always had a great time. The food is amazing!
