It's fun at a beautiful zoo, but you get bored if you go a few times. Simple zoo

Kyoto Zoo! Immediately after entering the park, there was a corner for tigers and beasts, and there were plenty of contact areas.

Adults are charged for free and children are free, although you can observe animals slowly even though the park is in the city

We had slightly low expectations of this being a fun day out, but we were pleasantly surprised as Kyoto's city zoo was actually a decent day out, especially if you have young kids.

Kyoto zoo is a good place to visit. They have a lot of different animals tho the amount of each species are very limited. my daughter really love the little fox. The tiger cage also interesting. They design the cage so that you can take a good pic of the tiger heading your way.

There is also a small theme park kids can ride ships, mini train, bump car and ferrish wheel. Each attraction need 1 coin, you can purchase the coins in the vending machine inside the theme park, 1 coin = JPY 200 (17 Nov 2018)

Beautiful zoo with garden, rides and photo opp! Family with young children will love this zoo.

The only beast in the Kansai the zoo with the gorilla is the beast zone, which is easy to read. Was there about 5 elephants? The kids were happy too. It was not too wide and it was easy to rotate! I wanted to go again.

I cried when I saw the lonely lion looking starved and unhealthy! The whole place looks as if the keepers have no idea how to care for the animals. Especially the tigers, he lol , the hippo and the exotic birds.

A small Zoo with animals mostly in cages. Reasonable for what is it. Allows for close proximity exposure with the big cats and the tickets is relatively affordable at 500 yen per adult. I estimate it's good for a couple of hours to half a day in duration.

I saw Jaguar for the first time in real life. It is a small but all-around zoo. However, the animal looked a bit pitiful, and I didn't like it.

I went for three consecutive holidays, but it's not so crowded and not very wide, so it's easy to walk. Still, the kind of animal is quite good, so it feels good.

Nice place to visit. The feline area seemed super small and I felt bad for the lion and jaguar. Their enclosure wasn't that very big. I wouldn't want to keep a dog in there. However the park was nice walk around and the price was rarely cheap, free if you were 15 or under.
