It's fun at a beautiful zoo, but you get bored if you go a few times. Simple zoo
Kyoto Zoo! Immediately after entering the park, there was a corner for tigers and beasts, and there were plenty of contact areas.
Adults are charged for free and children are free, although you can observe animals slowly even though the park is in the city
It will be very beautiful after renewal and you can have a pleasant day!
We had slightly low expectations of this being a fun day out, but we were pleasantly surprised as Kyoto's city zoo was actually a decent day out, especially if you have young kids.
The garden was very beautiful and good.
You can also borrow a stroller
That was a really big help.
Thank you very much!
It's been a long time since I've been to a zoo
Entrance fee of 620 yen was not a waste at all
It's been a while since the giraffe is amazing
But the tiger looks so lonely, so four stars...
A very refined, stylish space where adults can enjoy, like a zoo and a garden. The sky is wide and the wind of the ancient city blows through.
My favorite red panda was cute and the tiger was cool!
A zoo that often comes from childhood.
It feels small, but there are so many places to watch and it's not boring.
It is a place of recreation that goes strangely many times.
Weekday evenings are recommended.
Cute and well kept zoo. Fair price for entry. Various areas where you can sit and have a drink inside.
A few of the cages are slightly small, although the zoo generally is nicely done. The zoo overall is a good size for an day trip or even just for one or two hours.
It is a compact and easy-to-turn zoo. The red panda is cute.
It's in a very nice place, so I think it's the best way to spend a family holiday. It feels like there are animals in a large park rather than a small, full-scale zoo. The staff are friendly and have a relaxed atmosphere.
This zoo is very old and I went on an excursion when I was in elementary school in my 40s.
One of the rare ones here is a brush on the face of the giraffe's corner.
I didn't know anything at first, so
As soon as I asked the reception staff, the person in charge of the zoo asked me.
The two brushes on the face of the giraffe are said to occasionally rub the body with this brush.
It seems that it was rare information and the reception staff did not know it.
If the giraffe rubs her body, she will be a lucky spot witness!
Surprisingly new zoo
Besides the admission fee of 600 yen, the space is quite large and there are various animals!
Since Moi Oosanshouuo a star five
It was really crowded. .. Municipal parking lot is also high. It's modernized, and I'm stuck with it. I want you to come.
A zoo with excellent access in Kyoto city. Reopened in 2015, it is very beautiful.
There are so-called types, but the scale seems a little small
I visited in early summer. The lion and tigers looked stressed, overheated and emaciated. They were skin and bones. It made me sad to see them in such bad condition.
In mid-August 2018, we visited at night opening.
I enjoyed taking pictures of the scenery and animals in the park that entered in the evening and gradually became dark. Tension will rise to a different atmosphere from daytime.
You can eat old-fashioned delicious western food.
I especially like Demi Glass sauce. It is not possible to put in one hour for not having the highest rating. It can not be helped because it is a popular store.
Rather run down and with a dying lion, but the kids enjoyed it and the buffet restaurant was surprisingly good. If you are traveling with kids in Kyoto, might be worth it.
It's a bit small, but it's good for a few hours with a child.
It is not too wide, not too narrow, it is loved zoo.
There is no big highlight, but it is a spot for going out with small children.
Heian Shrine is also a good place.
Kyoto zoo is a good place to visit. They have a lot of different animals tho the amount of each species are very limited. my daughter really love the little fox. The tiger cage also interesting. They design the cage so that you can take a good pic of the tiger heading your way.
There is also a small theme park kids can ride ships, mini train, bump car and ferrish wheel. Each attraction need 1 coin, you can purchase the coins in the vending machine inside the theme park, 1 coin = JPY 200 (17 Nov 2018)
Beautiful zoo with garden, rides and photo opp! Family with young children will love this zoo.
The only beast in the Kansai the zoo with the gorilla is the beast zone, which is easy to read. Was there about 5 elephants? The kids were happy too. It was not too wide and it was easy to rotate! I wanted to go again.
I cried when I saw the lonely lion looking starved and unhealthy! The whole place looks as if the keepers have no idea how to care for the animals. Especially the tigers, he lol , the hippo and the exotic birds.
Absolutely atrocious. Shut this place DOWN!!!!!
Animal commentary is substantial, and I feel the love of the staff to animals. It is recommended for animal lovers.
I think that it was a good zoo that I could have mistaken since I was a child.
Great zoo for younger kids. They have a small amusement park and food allowed to bring in. Small zoo though
A small Zoo with animals mostly in cages. Reasonable for what is it. Allows for close proximity exposure with the big cats and the tickets is relatively affordable at 500 yen per adult. I estimate it's good for a couple of hours to half a day in duration.
I saw Jaguar for the first time in real life. It is a small but all-around zoo. However, the animal looked a bit pitiful, and I didn't like it.
I went for three consecutive holidays, but it's not so crowded and not very wide, so it's easy to walk. Still, the kind of animal is quite good, so it feels good.
There is also a sense of cleanliness throughout the park.
Incorporating action exhibits for adults and children
A beautiful zoo that you can easily visit in a few hours without ending exhausted, I recommend not going on a very cold day as it will be difficult to see some birds. The attention of the zoo staff is second to none, they are very friendly and attentive. Please do not try the "Gorilla ramen" in the restaurant near the east door, called Mirai House, as it is not very tasty.
Compact but very easy to see.
This is because it was designed with careful consideration of how customers would look around. However, rather than looking at various routes, there is an aspect in which a certain route is being seen rather than being seen because it is being performed without knowing it.
In the second half, there is a sense that the order is not understood, and there is no excitement shown in the order shown in the first tiger area.
The elegance not found in other zoos, and the feeding part of the statues, the wisdom inherent to the animals, could be seen in a very close position, and it was a very enjoyable experience.
The display method of animals has changed and it has become interesting.
Nice zoo, lots of great animals, cheap price. The animals look like they are treated well, but the enclosures are really small.
Shame on this zoo for not printing the conservation status of the native Japanese cat which is critically endangered, while they print the status of every other animal that is not Japanese.
Kyoto City Zoo in Okazaki has entrance fee of 600 yen. It is good to go with children, go to a date, you can see lots of animals. It is a place where you can relax.
Although it is a small zoo, it is just the right size for children up to about 4 years old and will enjoy it without getting tired. The fact that there is a small amusement park is also good for children. There are stroller rentals and diaper changing places, but there are not many diaper changing places, so if you are busy, you may be using all of them. There are plenty of benches in the park, so you don't have to worry about where to eat your lunch. I don't need a leisure mat. The surrounding area is a tourist spot and parking lots are just under 3000 yen. If you use a car, you should consider the parking area and the parking area. The nearest train station is the Tozai Line, but if you walk, it will be sensuously about 10 minutes full of tourists. During the cherry blossom season, you can enjoy a wonderful view on the way from the ski lift to the zoo.
recommendation! It looks like a koala (laughs)
I want to go viking but it's always crowded (laughs)
Little zoo. You can see the little penguin (can't touch) without a large glass cover at close range!
The facility is old, but the distance to animals is close and the use is cheap!
You can re-enter, so it s good to go outside to eat rice.
A compact zoo organized. I can see the beast quite close. (2018/3 final visit)
For the little child, the best match.
Even slowly animals, it is also tanned from low eyes.
Heart Kirin was more swayed by parents than children.
Kirin can see it from a distance.
The cherry blossoms are in bloom for five minutes.
When he renewed, he put a lot of effort into the tiger exhibition.
The cage and the upper part of the cage are connected by a passage so that you can look up from below.
Since it flies in various ways, it is necessary to be prepared.
It seems that you can be happy if you find a heart mark on the right back leg of the giraffe.
It is inside the hind legs.
It is always healed by animals.
It would be better if you could visit the park late in the year, not just for a limited time.
It has been renewed and is much better than 40 years ago.
Quite great place to walk around. They have a lots of nice animals to see however a bit more translations for animals could be welcome.
Very exquisite zoo, facilities and management are good, bring children to walk or rest easily. The indicator system is also very clear.
Unfortunately, it is not convenient to eat. There are only small shops selling drinks and crepes in the park. The restaurant on the second floor of the management center is a buffet, and it can only be accessed from outside the park.
There are various animals and it is fun. You can even touch the animals if the time is right. There is also a restaurant, and there are also shops.
It is not so wide, but there are many animals.
It is in an easy to access place.
I did n t go to the zoo, I just bought the goods, it s so cute
The price is easy and fun. But the food court is a bit unreliable.
No child fee
You can enjoy for 620 yen
There are baby stroller rental and nursing room
Nice place to visit. The feline area seemed super small and I felt bad for the lion and jaguar. Their enclosure wasn't that very big. I wouldn't want to keep a dog in there. However the park was nice walk around and the price was rarely cheap, free if you were 15 or under.
On Saturday, the first admission to the morning is
You can see it slowly
The feeling of distance from the tiger was so good that I could smell the sound of drinking water and smell the tiger
The renewed Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art. Advance reservations required. They are divided according to the exhibition inside, and you can enter each with a card-type admission ticket.
A new building has opened on the east side. I didn't know there was a backyard, but I can see the garden side with glass all over. A glass room with five glass walls in the middle of the garden pond. You can take your shoes off and cross the bridge, but you can't go inside. It's pretty, but it's going to be steamed.
It is a very beautiful zoo, and it is easy to walk around with a stroller.
It was so cute and nice. If you are lucky, you may be tiger pissed.
It has been renewed and beautiful.
Because there are few shops to eat in and around the park, it is better to bring lunch boxes and eat them.
I was completely replaced with the zoo when I was a child, but it was fun.
