Even with the renovation it's an uninspiring space except for the beach view.

Excellent surf club with outstanding staff and location on the beach front

Attended my partner s farewell dinner with a group of 8 people. It s a busy Friday night, so crowded & noisy. 5 of us, including me, ordered the Grilled Seafood. Unfortunately the bugs were very small & dry, no taste at tall. The other seafood like prawns, fish were just ok. Luckily, my partner s rib eye steak was well cooked. Overall staff is friendly and attentive.

A great place to have a coffee, meal or beer overlooking the beach. Friendly staff.

The bartender Laim was very rude and unprofessional. I was on the line and there were 3-4 people before me I wait until my turn suddenly this bartender skip to serve me and take the order from another customer instead. I go to talk to manager but he don t even want to say sorry. So this is the standard of the service here? Very unprofessional. Feel sad for the owner who employed these people to destroy their business.

Location was amazing and service was great, but unfortunately we ordered the seafood platter and the grilled seafood was old and almost cold, the cold seafood tasted like it had been kept a little too long. We sent it back and they immediately made us fresh stuff but it still was bland and flavourless.

Food was crap, old salad on side, need to change oil in deep fryer, not very tasty

Worst customer service
I requested/ordered baked beans and toast for little one ... they couldn't do that...
luckily in the baby bag we had baked beans tin..I asked them if they would heat it up.... again their response was big No

Fantastic surf club on the Broadbeach. They offer the absolutely delicious and fresh seafood dishes. Thorough enjoyed the high tea style seafood. You can eat from 3 different levels and it was more enjoyable to eat than small portions of elegant cakes & sliced sandwiches. It ll be wise to prepare yourself a swimwear so that you can go for a 4 hour swim afterwards.

An amazing venue for a 21st. Very well set up, food was great and staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Would not have changed a thing!

Only giving 2 stars because kids meal was ok it would be no stars for my meal $19 for antipasti plate, seems since you have had your redevelopments standards have dropped. $10 would have been more than enough. Will not be back. Really disappointed.

Coffee was bitter, Fruit toast was warm bread not toasted. Hubby's bacon and eggs were ok. Witness staff member stopping to pat dog and walking back into kitchen. The assumption is they washed their hands post.... Nice spot by the beach but maybe a smoothie might have been a better choice

All the Surf Clubs on the Gold Coast offer good value for money. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The range of drinks is excellent with something for everyone. We should always be conscious of the reason for Surf Clubs existing so regular visits help support those that save lifes. Very meritable.

Tried breakfast at the cafe. Que was long, the wait was outragious and the food ordinary. 2 stars for the view

Could not get a parking, had to park 3 streets away. Food was good. Weather was great.

Easy online booking with plenty of email and text confirmation and reminders making it easy to change booking if needed. Brilliant location overlooking beautiful Broadbeach, with a contemporary design and huge concertina windows. Typical surf club menu with well-priced and extensive selection. Friendly staff, fast service. Would definitely return.

Overlooking the beach, very large meals at very good prices. I always eat here when in Broadbeach...just can't beat Surf Life Saving Clubs for a great meal along the coast, and this is one of the beast ones.

Have a nice coffee in the warm sunlight and cool breeze.

We were here yesterday for a late lunch and although it s the week-end for SLC Australian Titles, we were able to park easily, get service easily and enjoy the view that never disappoints. The Kurrawa Burger is well matched with a schooner of 150 lashes. Staff are always efficient and friendly and the venue is spotlessly clean.

Great food ,but the poker machines are not very friendly :))))

Visited again after many years and the food was average. There were hundreds of people here and service was slow even for a monday night. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and the seafood was overcooked. Prices a little rich for a club given the quality but servings were generous.

Very good club..great service and terrific meals at reasonable prices.
Wine and beer at good prices

The poor rating reflects the food. Standard prices for a surf club but the quality of the meals are definitely sub par. $20 burger and chips, the bun was as thin as white bread, the filling was pitiful and a sad scattering of chips on the side. Good service and beautiful view didn't quite make up for it though. I would head north to Southport SLSC or Burleigh next time.

We dined there last night, food was amazing, staff very helpful and friendly.

Very little selection on the menu, expensive for a surf club and poor customer service. I'll be giving it a miss.

Allways a goody. I eat at this place regularly, very good meals and very reasonable prices. Become a member and receive 10 percent off every thing.

New building is very nice, however some wait staff, specifically the man in charge of seating, was very unprofessional. Went up to get drinks, not even gone 5 minutes and our table was cleared and a reserve sign put down, clearing my mothers drink that still had 1/4 left. We sat back down and were told that this table was reserved and asked to move. Luckily one of the more experienced wait staff that was there saved us and even offered my mother a free drink, a very kind lady. Food was good and prices were fair otherwise. Also you aren t able to book tables of less than 8 apparently but reserved signs were being put down on tables of 2, very very weird.

Far too expensive for club food. Preferred the smaller old club. Although that wasn't too cheap either.

Great location right on the beach. Good food for a comparable price. Deccent selection of beers on tap.

Beach Sun Surf nice place to eat and rest very relaxing

Biggest fiasco of a surfclub i have cross, i called week jn advance to make a booking for 4 for dinner for Friday , to be told we don't take bookings for less than 8 people , just rock there is plenty of small tables you won't have a problem getting in,, thought that was not ok so called again today to try to book a table as it was a birthday celebration, once again was told no we don't take bookings under 8 people, and just rock up you won't have a problem getting a table, so we did after looking for 20min for a carpark, we arrive at the front door where there is a long ljne of ar least 50 people waiting to be told there's a 45 min wait just to get in, I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT FU@#WIT CAME UP WITH THAT GREAT IDEA! and I'm sure a lot of the other pissed off people walking away would like to know too! NOT HAPPY JAN!!

Food was great; my steak was better than the one at the other surf club. The service was very slow, however.

Had our work Xmas lunch here, food good, had a table by the window, great view of the Surf Beach. Very difficult finding a parking spot. I ended up parking in the shopping centre across the road, cost me $8. I would say off season probably wouldn't have a problem with parking. Need photo ID if over 18.

Fabulous location and views from dining area. Exceptionally good food! Restaurant food (not club food).

It got a face lift but it s still the same ugly beast it was. Got served a dish with a hard plastic foreign object in it. Very unsatisfactory response by staff. Will not be back

Excellent service and great food must try their coconut chicken salad, awesome.

I had a fairly good Vegan meal here. The service was good and all the portions of the other meals that were bought were good. Only adverse comment was made by others were the plates. They just didn't like the shape of them and missed having separate plates for bread etc. This very large plate was like "one plate fits all" kind of experience. We can see their purpose from a practical sense but as for adding to the experience we would all say "Not".

Good food and reasonable prices. Busy place. Good facilities at club environment.

After our first dinner at the Kurrawa Surf Club was unsatisfactory. Emma (manager) emailed me after our experience and offered a complimentary voucher after our first dinner experience.

Food was good tonight, seafood basket and fish batter was golden and crisp. The curry dish was aromatic with great flavours.

Emma, you re an asset to the business.

Waited for 10 minutes to get a drink but apparently you need to be a local to service.

The guy on reception when we arrived was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. It has been 12 months since we have been here. This is a new surf club to replace old one. We wanted to have the seafood buffet for 2 but they had been very popular the night we visited for dinner they had sold out. Staff member came over to our table to suggest another option. I had a seafood basket and partner grilled barramundi basket food was lovely but only downside was my salad tasted funny. They gave us coles fuel vouchers which we thought was strange. But we both thought free drink each would of been better as the food we wanted had sold out

We hosted our family celebration of milestone birthdays being my dads 80th, my twin daughters 30th and my grand daughters 1st birthday on 11 July 2020. Our function was the first function held at Kurrawa Surf Club Level 2 after Qld eased into stage 3 of the COV19 roadmap. So this function was very different and new to both the club and our family. The clubs staff communicated and adapted to the new regulations with ease and grace. We also had to make some last minute amendments which once again the staff were extremely accommodating of our changing situation. The food and service received great reviews from our guests. All this created a fabulous ambiance for our family celebration. To Amie, Hayleigh, Morgan, Ida, the Chef and bar attendant (sorry I forgot your names) you'll agility as a team to adapt to a changing environment and our last minute request is greatly appreciated. On behalf our our family I would like to thank you so very much for partnering with us create such beautiful family memories. Look forward to seeing you all in November for another family celebration.

Unfortunately the service in the downstairs cafe has gone downhill since we first started coming here about 4 months ago. This is mostly due to some of the young staff having no concept of customer service, often being rude and unable to hide their bad mood. I thought it may have been a one off thing when it started but sadly its been happening too often. It was my favourite place on the coast to go and I used to be proud to take friends. Not anymore. Now there s mostly disappointment and embarrassment. Such a shame the staff attitude doesn t match the beautiful surroundings. I really hope they get their act together.

Great place, the food was really good and the service too! It can be busy so prepare to wait for book in advance!

Great food great views very handy very friendly staff

We recently held a half day event in the Function room, and had a great experience. Amie did a fantastic job of supporting our team from booking, to executing the coordination of the day. Amber who assisted with all of our food and drink requirements was really helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks ladies. We will back!
