One of my two favorite museums in Rotterdam, Definitely worth the visit every month or so
One of my two favorite museums in Rotterdam, Definitely worth the visit every month or so
Wonderful exhibition on 20th century French tapestries. Well worth it. Open until January 3, 2021.
Lecture about Thierry Mugler: special exhibition made of his work, great !!
Kunsthal is actually always fun to visit, always different exhibitions. Now there was hyper-realistic sculpture, well worth a look. Unfortunately, the largest room was closed (but I still had to pay the full entrance fee).
Above expectations! Always surprised by something special.
Spacious museum, nice varied exhibitions, cozy place to have a drink
It was very busy, and visitors were not well distributed around the building. I also found the exhibitions to be very divided and not aligned
Nice exhibition: Thierry Mugler and masterful. With paintings and drawings from the Boymans collection.
Contemporary exhibition space with good mood lighting on the works. Minimalist setting offers a lot of visual enjoyment. Good facilities and adequate and friendly staff. A pleasure to visit.
Nice art, something for everyone. At the 2nd floor do it quietly otherwise you will get really nauseous.
Nice museum with several small exhibitions. For those who go to the cats, crawl through the cat flap (if you run into him, you know what I mean)
Museum is spacious and very clean. There are other exhibitions regularly, which makes it worth going a few times a year.
Can also be combined with the natural history museum, that is literally wrong.
Soo beautiful, with interesting exhibits, different from the usual, curious and unheard of !!! It was really a beautiful experience, fun and stimulating !! The property is modern, the works are described in Dutch and English and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable !! In two / three hours you can enjoy a wonderful cultural experience !! To do in the family absolutely and very fun even with friends !!
Very beautiful museum but slightly chaotic inside. Perhaps that was amplified by it being quite busy when we visited.
The photograph exhibition was beautiful and captivating. We felt the other exhibitions felt very cramped. It didn't make us feel like we could fully immerse ourselves in the museum experience.
Giving this museum the benefit of the doubt as it may well be a different experience when you're feeling less like a canned sardine and more of a visitor.
Very good, always great alternative art expositions
Constantly changing exhibitions ensure that you can keep going. Check in advance if there is something for you at the moment as the selection is extremely wide. From art with a big K, to design, pop culture and fashion.
You look out your eyes. What a diversity of art. Almost all your senses are challenged. From sing-along videos to SCI-FI. Old school photo game I see, I see what you don't see.
Kinetic art: a large exhibition, with a few beautiful pieces
Always wait and see what the other exhibitions are if you go for a special exhibition. Sometimes that is very disappointing.
Thanks to the covid measures enough space everywhere.
Time slot fine. Also persevere when it is no longer necessary.
Great exhibition spaces with always surprising variations. Looking forward to your next visit!
The Hyperrealism sculpture was a bit disappointing. Compared to last year's exhibition Hyper Realism 50 years of painting. But the dark side of Bruna was very interesting, especially because of the graphic side of his work.
interesting spacial organization of the famous museum designed by Rem Koolhas / OMA, worth seeing just for the building. Plus has some good exhibitions from time to time
Great museum with modern art. At the moment there is art by Joana Vasconcelos, an imaginative artist. She makes art with everyday objects and techniques. You walk around with admiration with a big smile because of her ingenuity. Still to be seen until November 17 and is highly recommended.
Very nice to visit, the exhibitions are well presented and the course between the rooms is nice. Expo shop quite small but good content
Always very interesting exhibitions. The Kunsthal remains my favorite museum in Rotterdam!
Would like to visit around a quarter to 4. Actually had to make a reservation first and according to the desk it was too late to visit. ( COVID-19)
Cool museum with changing exhibitions ...... Not too big .... Nice to go in every now and then ..
Very nice for a day out. Enough to see and do. The natural history museum next door is also worth a try, so if you want an afternoon of entertainment this is a good location.
They gave me a discount with an expired CJP card.
Great people!
Just in time for the Science Fiction- a journey into the unknown exhibition. Very nice and complete exhibition. A mecca for the science fiction fan. The Kunsthal is a great museum. Friendly staff. Great food in the Kunsthal Cafe, with plenty of choice for vegetarians. I'll be back soon for the other exhibitions!
Contemporary art in a modern building. Ideal stop to take on a city trip. Recommendations in the neighborhood: Museum boijmans van beuningen and the Sonneveldhuis. Or for example the Maritime museum. Parking under the arts quarter is handy but expensive. Road works will also be very annoying in 2018.
Always a Nice expo to visit. Often they also have interactive types of workshops.
nice, small museum (modern art) with surprising exhibitions.
Nice, but very quiet. Maybe a little music can be played on it!
I really enjoyed my visit at the Kunsthal. The exhibitions offered a varied and captivating experience.
Visited on a Wednesday at the end of August with the thought: we are happy with all the art. Well, not only halls 1, 5 and 6 were open. Where only hall 1 was really interesting (Viktor & Rolf). Within half an hour we were outside again. How dare the Kunsthal ask full price for this? Luckily we took advantage of "free entry for 2 action", but other people just had to pay the full price: DISGUSTING! 14 Euro p.p. is really not done when so many halls are closed. I prefer to go to Boijmans van Beuningen in R'dam or RMO in Leiden.
Wall clothing exhibition is beautiful. And the weaving lab is great! Just weave a piece of tapestry yourself, Schering en woof
Original, cozy and sinuous museum, like the waters that circulate x the canals of the Dutch cities and at this time with the exhibition of the 25 years of Viktor & Rolf. A must in the city, with a lesson of strutured simplicity and outstanding exhibitions, like the 25th anniversary of Viktor @ Rolf.
Beautiful exhibitions, beautiful location, also organize tours of the exhibitions, very nice
Beautiful museum with changing, inspiring exhibitions.
Exhibitions changing from art, interactive installations, cults, music, photography & combinations of multiple. Ever changing selection and great to visit once in a while. Check out their agenda before you go.
I'm your mirror - another great exhibition for young and old, highly recommended.
Clearly a Rem Koolhaas building! Beautiful as a model and in photos but not to walk in. Certainly as a museum unclear. Nevertheless; the exhibition about Paul Delvaux was beautiful and because it (mainly) from one collection was special. Usually you don't see much about his earlier periods.
Great exhibition by Stephan Vanfleteren and a nice exhibition about kinetic art
Come here every year for another wonderful exhibition. Building is beautiful and you can get lost in it. The only thing is that I still think that the exhibition is often somewhat small in size ...
Great exhibitions in the Kunsthal. An absolute must.
Nice museum. Exhibition has been Hyperrealism. Recommended. Difficult parking there.
Nice museum with always interesting temporary exhibitions. Easy to reach by public transport and you can also park well in the parking garage under the Museumpark. Recommended!
The structure is really worth a visit. After 25 years, this building looks timeless, fresh, transparent, light. Due to the design of new exhibitions, this time there was relatively little to see. I was a bit disappointed. Therefore, take a quiet look at the building and study it. And that more than compensated. The auditorium would be a great place to record TV programs such as College Tour and Late Night shows. I want to act as a presenter!
every time a beautiful, interesting, special exhibition.
A beautiful place worth passing through and visiting
Excellent museum. Very varied selection. Parking well arranged. Recommended
Very geometric and architectural park. Not sure if everyone would like it
Modern museum with good exhibitions. Reasonable information for painting. Easily accessible by wheelchair. Simple coffee bar
