Always nice to go here. Beautiful exhibits. The tapestries were really impressive and so were the music related pieces. In addition, I enjoyed the humor in Peter de Krom's exhibition. Nice building which makes it seem quiet regardless of whether it is busy or quiet like in corona time. It is also clearly indicated what the corona measures are so that you can really enjoy yourself without worrying.

The museum is really cool from an architectural point of view. The exhibitions are constantly changing so it makes sense to come back more than once if you live close by. I thought the museum was larger cause it took me only a couple of hours to end the tour. Side note: the content is modern art only...

Attractive place with regularly special museum exhibitions on an international level. Large and well-visited restaurant for coffee, snacks and drinks. A stopping place for the museum visitor, but also for the walker in the park or for an appointment with two or an entire group. Relaxed atmosphere, basic decor in an otherwise architecturally special building.

Great museum with regularly fascinating exhibitions but what a desperate signage and what clumsy to get from one to the other or in between the coffee bar. Besides, a terribly uninviting thing that canteen, a lot of noise and no intimacy. Too bad it was better .... often very worthwhile.

ALL YOU CAN ART 3

ALL YOU CAN ART 3
WORKSHOP WITH IBB was a lot of fun to visit with children. Nice to introduce them to how art starts with trying and experimenting. 'Practice makes perfect' is literally reflected here.

Visited after walking 2.2km in the rain and wind from my hotel then had to walk to the Central Station, total more than 4km.

According to the information provided by Hotel Rotterdam and the Tourist Information Office, this is an art museum.

However, on arrival on 28 November 2019, there was no art being exhibited, temporary or permanent and the only exhibition was THIERRY MUGLER: COUTURISSIME

for which the admission price was a quite staggering 16.50 (with no concessions) which I would not have paid even if I had been interested in haute couture, which I am not.

According to the website, there are other exhibitions but the receptionist said there were none.

The Museum should ensure that the correct information is on the web site, that this is known to the Tourist Information Office and tourist hotels.

Surprising building. Special on the inside in terms of spatial distribution. From the outside you cannot see that there are so many different levels. Definitely worth an extra visit after changing the exhibits.

The Kunsthal in Rotterdam is one of my favorite museums in the Netherlands. So it looks like now I have had my last museum visit there. I wish the Kunsthal and all other cultural institutions that the damage caused by the compulsory closure in connection with the corona will not be too bad. Stay healthy and hopefully see you soon!

Great exhibits and very welcoming and friendly staff. The two exhibits they had on were incredible and would definitely recommend seeing. The collection upstairs are photos selected by successful guest curators who pick photos from the museums extensive collection.

Nice museum with regularly new and fun / interesting exhibitions. I personally don't really like museums but the art hall is free for ages 17 and under and if you have a rotterdam pass. So nice to just walk through and get out quickly. Nice and helpful staff.

Beautiful building, beautiful changing performances. Nice staff. Good coffee in the restaurant. Was during the exhibition of the deceased photographer Jeroen Oerlemans. Impressive photos and penetrating exhibition.

Also seen an exhibition of the Danish artist Michael kvium. Theatrically organized exhibition, the state of affairs how Europe is now is depicted in the absurd.

I went for the Jean Paul Gaultuer expo a couple years ago and this year I went to see Thierry Mugler. The museum has did a good job in the expo. The building overal is just almost literally like a "hall"

Always cool exhibitions, always interesting, relevant and surprising. Building is also very cool, you can wander around. Many different spaces to explore. There can be a long line on Saturday / Sunday, so try to go during the week.

Nice service from the Kunsthal to free your stuff in a safe to put with a safe coin.
And top notch that I got a sticker on my Museum Card to no longer have to pay a surcharge until the 20th of January 2019 for the next visit.
The exhibition: Action Reaction is definitely recommended and definitely come back again.
