Beautiful exhibition in the art hall about cats and the art and advertising inspired by them. This exhibition was great. After the necessary renovation after the theft of a few years ago, the art hall has been given a different entrance and the layout of the entire hall and restaurant is also completely different. Not beautiful, not handy and not as it was originally intended. Too bad, it will be necessary to exclude future thefts.

The Kunsthal in Rotterdam is a large building with various exhibition spaces. The building is not far from the center and near various tram stops and is located at a nice park, right next to a (also very nice) nature museum. What I really like is that they don't have just one type of exhibition, but very different ones, so there is something for everyone. It is a modern building with a nice restaurant, the only drawback being that I did not find the entrances to the various areas clearly marked. But otherwise it is an ideal place for a day out.

What the word says, an art hall. However .... I found the transfers between the exhibits to be poor. A narrow steel tear plate staircase (indoor) for up and down. So busy. Routes between exhibitions sometimes a bit confusing.
Visited the hyperrealism expo. That was nice to see. But giga pressure so chaotic in places. Perhaps timeslot per number of visitors? Arranging an e-ticket in advance saves a lot of waiting time.

When I was at the museum that afternoon, I had less than an hour before its closing time. I walked in Hall 1 and saw Street Dreams about hiphop fashion that did not interest me much, so I decided to go up another floor to see Joana V's "I'm Your Mirror" which was not disappointing at all. In fact, I highly recommend it as the materials used in the art display are simple but the final products are gorgeous.

The Kunsthal in Rotterdam was built on the site where the Energiehal used to stand on the edge of the Hoboken country.
In my childhood around 1956/1957 there was a ditch where we as children went sailing smoothly and if we were in there was also swum.
Nobody was thinking about the disease of weil.
Later, the Erasmus hospital started here and became the current EMC.
The Kunsthal is a beautiful exhibition space even though the door may not be closed.

It is designed by OMA and the spaces of the building are worth visiting.
The art in the museum changes from time to time so it is recommended for one to check the event if you are here for the exhibition rather than the building.

One of the best architectural experiences that can be had in life, since the building is spectacular, the spatial relationships and the way of relating to the environment are impressive. The unbeatable architectural part, at the height of the greatest !! The problem is the price, 14 for seeing three exhibitions that are clearly disconcerting, it seems to me a clear excess, which obviously takes advantage of the pull of the building to make all the pilgrims and devotees of Rem Koolhaas's work go through the box.

I went here for the Street Dreams exhibit which was excellent but would love to have it be bigger.
Stayed and visited the other expo s as well. If you have the time, swing by the Piranezi exhibit (open till September 1st).

Sanne Sannes portrayed the seduction and vulnerability very beautifully. And Black album, white cube is really surprising. Just like some of the tapestries. Especially the carpets that run with your brain in 3D.

Very good exhibitions in the Kunsthal. Beautiful photo series about surfers. A very nice exhibition with kinetic images of light, air, electricity, mirrors, open forms of iron and many more things.

The exhibition 100 years of Kinetic Art was amazing!!! We had a great time wandering around and looking at all the changing shapes, materials, lights etc. We hardly looked at any of the other exhibitions :) Definitely recommend going here. Fun for kids as well.

Science Fiction, a journey into the unknown, was an entertaining and interesting exhibition. Certainly for Science Fiction enthusiasts.

Seen a good exhibition by Joost Swarte. Found that the flow of the amount of people in the building did not run very smoothly. There were also not enough lockers. Exhibition was well prepared.
