Kulturhuset Stockhom Review

Cultural center with a wide variety of leisure offers. In it we also find the tourist information point, on its ground floor. On its first or second floor, we find a restaurant where you can enjoy a free buffet at a fairly reasonable price. We found a variety of dishes but few typical of the area.

One of the nicer buildings in Stockholm. Not from outside but the inside has a nice cafes and resturants and probably always some shows

I was doing some works of art for the Kulturhuset in the years 1967-68. It was a good creative experience full of ideas and human understanding. Greetings to the Center. Miguel Amate.

I've never seen a place like this one. Is just perfect. The floors for kids blew me away, what a great space for families! Loved it, hope to bring my kids here in the future.

It is a good place to enjoy the city by having lunch or coffee on the rooftop restaurant.
Prices are a little on the higher side though but for the view is worth paying

An interesting multicultural center. When I was there there was a very nice Nordic Artists Design Expo.

No matter when, you can always spend some nice time here. There is always something.

This is a unique social and cultural hub of Stockholm, that is very typically Swedish. Open to the public with a library, gallery and an affordable restaurant, the Cultural House brings together Stockholmers across class, ethnic and racial borders.

There is not much to see why it was promoted as a tourist attraction. It is a space for movie screening and cultural life of citizens. You can play the piano and guitar in the library.

This might be a great place to go if you are not the first time in Stockholm. On the first flour you can learn about cultural events happening in close future. On the top flour you have a cafe with the views on the square. In the middle - pensioners playing chess, rotating exhibitions, place to leave kids to play, library where you can listen books, etc.

I mainly use it as a place to get ideas for the activities during weekends.

Very nice libraries. One library for small children. But that library can, at times, be full of kids and then some kids have to wait to get in. The parkingspace for strollers can also be totally full some times.

The prices are high everywhere in this building. But culturally you find theater, library, activities for children or youth and much more here. It's a good place to set up meeting people.

Super diverse culture house. Basement: Cafe, Restaurant. Buggy parking. 4th floor children's library. 2nd floor culture cinema.

Cafe is nice. Not much to do elsewhere though. Library is average. Not exactly sure what this place does? Kulturhuset seems to be a Swedish phenomenon, don't know what the rest of the world would call this place

Is it the moon Ministry of Culture that is behind the decoration of the glass facade with banners?

Seems to be some kind of elephant cemetery for dilapidated Bollinger Bolsheviks and other individuals who want to be provided with tax money.

Plus points because it seems to be a workplace where old guys can take care of the younger abilities and still keep raising salaries.

Incredibly helpful staff that was nice, smiley and welcoming. I bought tickets, got easy instructions to find the salon and find my seats. Got invited to enjoy other attractions based on the kind of event I was going to that day.

Staff at the Coffee place were not good though.

Kulturhuset on Sergels Torg is a good place for meet up new friends. It has Roof top restaurant with city view, a music library, children library, book and magazines library, a cinema, radio station and much more..

I am a huge fan of their many exhibitions that they held through the year alongside many other activities and performances. You should definitely pay a visit to the roof top bar where you can embrace the view of Central Stockholm up on the roof!

You have to use coins if you have to use toilets. Why not have Swish and cards also

Perfect when you are in the center of Stockholm. Correct prices.

Kulturhuset also serves as the focal point for information about other cultural activities and organizations throughout Sweden and the rest of Europe. Inside are a snack bar, a library, a reading room, a collection of recordings. Open Tuesday to Friday 11am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm. Free admission.

An oasis in downtown Stockholm!
Have a coffee, lunch, dinner, glass of wine, beer or alcohol and enjoy the view.
Theater and creativity are there in abundance here. Liked. :-)

Right bottom line for those who thought the cultural center had some sort of responsibility nowadays. to show art to the city's visitors. Be better sooner.

Seems ok but their website says it has child play but in reality it is shut until 2020

I must visit kulturhuset every time that I visit Stockholm. I love this place, I want everybody visit it

Newly renovated, corona safe with some people in the food. Totally ok food, but small selection, for natural reasons.

Interesting space but not really for tourists - it is more for locals and their kids :-)

In this house of culture, there is a room with an immense reproduction of the city. This model is on the ground, under a window, so you can walk on it. I loved ! I recommend to stop there the first day of your stay to better visualize the rest of your discovery and may even complete your schedule for the following days. We see in particular the large parks and green spaces ... and then the entrance is free!

historically is the place to gather during winter time, it has a lot of space for kids and people of any age, there is also a library and a lot of events organised.

Nice place for shopping around and good restaurants are there.And big gallery where some time live performances are done

A must visit, for everyone.

There is quite a lot to do there but everything is quite beige.

The food is disappointing and severly overpriced. In addition the setting feels like a high school cafeteria making it not worth the effort.

Next to a lively central square where you can see everything happen. A must for any visit to Stockholm. Great selection of cultural activities to enjoy.

Really bad service. would book tickets for the 17/10 "Mother-in-law" hung on the phone at 12 noon when the booking opened. Got to my surprise then that there were only three places left. booked in three places but there was a stop. then I realized that there were places left. HOW DOES THIS GO? Very disappointed at the cultural center

Brilliant children's library! Great place to just sit, eat, go online or look at art exhibitions.

The displays vary, but you can always find something interesting to have a look at here. The restaurant on the top floor is quite good, and also provides a good view of the surroundings.

Very nice place to spend a few hours in rainy Stockholm.

Well, the place looks awesome from the outside at night. Although one would almost not be able to guess what it was. I went there because of a strong recommendation from a Swedish friend who assured me that there was a really fun area for children to play. My daughter is 7-years old, and after building the place up to her she was really excited to go and have some fun. The first time we went we couldn t figure out how to get inside. It s not that obvious. The next time we went we found our way in, and once in we were pleasantly surprised that it was quite nice inside. But, we were expecting a cultural experience and some good old play time. What we found was a lovely .....shopping mall. After looking around for a play area with no luck we decided to ask at an info kiosk. They pointed us to a toy store and said that there was a play area in there. My daughter ran ahead in excitement, down an escalator with me running to keep up, around a corner and wow.......there was an extremely small play area, mostly for younger kids (which is nice enough that the store owners provide) but, it was not what we were expecting at all. That was that. We walked around a bit more and left as we had no intention of shopping. I m still left here wondering as I write this, in what way could this ever be thought of as being some kind of cultural experience..? Nobody from this place made me any promises and that s why I ve given it an average mark, but from the name of the place itself, and the recommendation from my friend, I was fairly disappointed...

Heat cabin for beggars who occupy the seats everywhere, talk loudly with each other or in their latest model mobiles, which they also charge there ..
Where is the security company to drive the beggars ???
