Amazing time on the ATV tour!!!! Really fun and a great way to see beautiful landscape from some of your favorite movies! Also a fun change of pace from Honolulu and a different way to explore than hiking. Fantastic guides take amazing photos and share Hawaiian and movie history along the way. Loved this and would recommend to anyone visiting Honolulu!

Took the ATV tour. It was totally worth it. Half way in poured rain then stopped. I think that just added to the fun believe it or not. Bill and Louie were awesome tour guides and taught us a lot about Hawaiian culture and history.
This place is massive! And has a ton of different options for outdoor entertainment. We did the 2-hr Gator tour, which is really a lot of fun! Be sure to check in at the tour at least 30 minutes ahead of time, so you can be in the front kicking up the dust rather than further back, eating it!
I ll recommend to choose the 2 hours Jurassic Adventure tour if you want to freely enjoy the view and realize the historic background details from tour guilds, the guild (young man) thoroughly introduce the culture, terrain, history and have brought us back to the Jurassic movie scenes. That s so worthy to join the tour and enjoying the breathtaking natural atmosphere.
We did the two hour ATV tour and it was amazing! We stopped at 3 different places on the tour and the tour guides would explain where you are, what was filmed there and even some historical information on the area. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Our tour guides, Marshall and Christian were amazing. They were very knowledgeable of all the happenings of the Ranch. They clearly loved their job and were having so much fun with it which in turn made our experience that much better. They even acted as photographers for everyone and taking a bunch of pictures. After the tour we stayed for a bite to eat and got the Shrimp Plated Lunch that Christian recommended us to get. All the food is grown right here on the Ranch. It was delicious! But the flies were horrible around the provided picnic tables outside, which made it hard to enjoy. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would 100% recommend coming here and taking the Two Hour ATV tour.
Out of the way spot to see some beautiful Hawaiian scenery. My family booked the catamaran and half day private beach. Both were enjoyable and offer great views, but by far the private beach was a better deal. The beach offers kayaks and paddleboard at no additional cost, and even has a long canoe that can be taken out to a sand bar for Hawaiian pictures that are hard to match. The long canoe will give you much of the same views as the catamaran. So if you are short on time, the catamaran is great, but all day at the beach is way more worth it, if you have the time.
My only gripe is this place has an Oyster farm, but you cannot cook these on the beach. If they can fix this, so I can sit on the beach with a cocktail and cook some of their fresh oysters, this might truly be the best place to relax on Hawaii.
Amazing experience! We went for a movie site tour and it was so much fun. Guide was great, we saw cool movie sites and the amount of time was perfect for the tour.
Ps: not matter what you want to do here, book several weeks in advance!! When we tried to book a few different activities 4 weeks prior to our vacation, most was sold out. There s a lot to see and to do, so definitely plan in advance
This was one of the more touristy things we did on Oahu because we love Jurassic Park! We had fun even though the ATVs didn't go as fast we we'd like. Got all our fun pictures and our tour guide even did a photo/video of use with a dinosaur puppet which was silly and cute. All in all very fun! Out tour guide was also informative which we enjoyed. The views are breathtaking !
I would recommend the Koalua Ranch to anyone going to Hawaii, not just movie lovers! Going on any tour would be worth it for the simple sake of seeing the WW2 bunker, views of the coast from the bunker and just standing in the valley below where all the movies were filmed. It's a magical location and ranch, with tons of history. The drive there up the coast is also fantastic! Highly recommend visiting the ranch if you are in Hawaii!
