Very nice accommodation. Lots of animals. Well maintained roads. Wonderful atmosphere!
Unique, exceptional, fantastic. Once in a lifetime everyone should visit it
Awesome place if you nature. One of south Africas best places to visit and stay.
Great picnic spot! Get Kitty as your waitress! Very friendly helpful and great waffles!
Kruger is one of those places that most people think of when you think of a authentic African Safari, lots to see and lots to experience. Camping is pretty rough there are some amenities though. I would definitely recommend booking a trip to come and see one of the best national parks in the world in my humble opinion.
Stunning fauna. It's a tiny piece of wildlife. Stunning fauna. It's a tiny piece of wildlife.
I had a great experience being up close with the elephants .
Got to see the big five
Brilliant
Just returned from Ngwenya country lodge and went on 2 self drive excursions into the Kruger National Park. We saw a huge amount of animals. It is very dry which definitely contributed to all the sightings. It was, nevertheless, still an amazing experience.
We saw a couple of animals in the few hours that we had, but we had to go back to Johannesburg. We would definitely go back.
I was so happy to see a group of lions been there a number of times and I wasn't lucky to see lions, the staff on the gates are so professional and very helpful.
Impressively large park. A must for every lover of flora / fauna parks.
For this park one should estimate at least one full day, better still several - the huge area takes a lot of time and is absolutely worth seeing. The most diverse species of animals are to be found here - by the constant contact with visitors not too shy.
It is especially nice there in the evening against the setting sun. But despite 40 degrees during the day it is from sunset sensitive cold on the open jeep.
When in the past, during the several times we visited the park , you arrived at the park it was a good feeling. Now you get to a bureaucracy office and you have to pay double than Zuid Afrikan cityzens.
Why? We pay already hotels, restaurants, car rental etc.
Why tourist have to be discriminated?
Where the money goes?
Less animals to see, they have too many elephants and several animals are disappearing. The condition of the buildings and the entry gates shows that investments are needed.
Better to go to Botswana .....
We enjoy relaxing visits to the Kruger Park - probably twice per year and sometimes more often! Camps are comfortable and supplies available. Game drives are highly recommended and the knowledge of the rangers better than ever!
Baboons and monkeys are becoming more of a problem at stop-overs and even in the camps!
We visited the park for 3 days, stayed in a camp on the edge. Despite the 3 days we only saw 1/4 of the park, it is really big. We saw a lot of animals.
One of my dream place to visit. On our day, we we're lucky enough to spot 4 of 5 big5. Place is well maintained and they have every spot marked on the map. You should not forget to check the marked trail of animals at the entrance gate. Also it is mandatory to maintain speed limits inside the park if you are having self driven vehicle.
The Kruger is always something special
However there is evidence of admin neglect
If you are a nature lover, this is the place to be. Watch animals at close range, roaming freely in their natural habitat. Just amazing. Group 4X4 guided drives with rangers, private drives by yourself with your loved ones, have it anyway you like it.
Very large park that can take a few days to see major sites. Quite tricky to spot wildlife, but that is half of the adventure.
Kruger Park does not disappoint. Wildlife is amazing
It's Kruger Park, it costs nothing and you can see everything.
I have never been but what happened to mitamba and khanya
If you are seeking to get to know the real South-Africa, do not hesitate to visit Mpumalanga and specially the Kruger Park. Take a trip into the wild park, camp there, eat local food, buy local souvenirs and more! Indeed one of the best experiences I ve ever had. Wildlife is incredibly beautiful and serendipitous.
Desired safari tour, it's an ideal destination.....
Beautiful scenery and lots of animals. Great facilities at Lower Sabie and Skukuza rest camps.
Great park, you have the impression of endless space, very friendly staff and we saw almost all animals
A very special place indeed. To stay at least a night and here the bush talking to you is a must
Was a great experience once in a life time event. Love love love
Stayed in Tamboti tented camp. Best camp situated in the bush.
If you love nature and wild life then the best place of the planet is here
Getting started at 6.30 am at Numbi Gate you are shocked by the amount of tourists and the slow process for purchasing entry tickets.
However it gets better once you get away from the entrance gates. Unfortunately you do not see many herds of elephants, wilderbeasts but often rather individual animals or groups of 3 or 4. To me it seems as if there are severe problems of poaching
Such a wonderful Safari adventure! Saw 4 of the big 5.
The park struck to the core! There are very few places on the planet where animals are left to their own devices. It is very interesting and pleasant to see them in a familiar environment.
The organization of the park is good: there are maps, toilets, cafes, an understandable principle of entry and exit. Nice gift shop; walks with the ranger. We came here three days in a row. I think it s more pleasant to ride on my own than with a ranger.
Im coming 2019 for a week stay. Turning at the gate revived my love for kruger and the beauty it possess.
The big 5 alone are worth the ticket price, but you have to be lucky to see them. It is as big as Puglia and full of structures. To visit.
