A must do experience for anyone who lives in or comes to visit South Africa. The game viewing is great and there's plenty of different things to do with both self-drive and driven opportunities.

Kruger National Park is very nice lots of animals and birds. Have been there in 2002 but was then at another lodge that one could drive all the way in to the wild animals. Unfortunately, this part of the park could not be driven off the roads but one got close contact with the wild animals, elephants and rhinos just a few meters from us. We stayed this time at a very good Lodge Mannyatta Rock Camp traveled with Tembo Safari with Hans as tour guide can be recommended

Asked for accomodation close to reception or shops due to health. They put us way way away. The viewing deck is now just one big eatery. Pack of baboons running wild through camp early morning. Lower Sabie camp has deteriorated and we have been Park visitors for 40yrs. Very sad

A must visit in South Africa. Experience the versatility of the African bush and it's wonderful wild life in this park that covers more than 20 sqkm. Whether it is a pride of elephants, a shy bushbuck, a dung beetle, the call of a fish eagle or hippos in a dam, and so much more, be prepared to be in awe. Bring lots of time, suntan lotion, a hat, a cooler box for refreshments and lots of water, some snacks and remember to stick to the rules, and you will never forget this experience. The big camps offer accommodation, restaurants, curio and take away stores.

One of the main tourist attractions in South Africa. Meet the big 5 and other wildlife species in their natural habitat. There a a variety of rest-camps for overnight stays with restaurants, shops and accommodation from camping sites to rondavels. Each camp is fully enclosed with electric fences. In the evenings you can sit around a campfire and talk about the experiences of the day. What a wonderful holiday for nature lovers!

It is a nature lover paradise. If you wish to see Africa's big 5, then this is were you have to be. Beautiful camps and well maintained park. Every body must visit this park once in their life.

We went in for a day visit via Malelaan Gate. Service at gate was excellent! We spent a special time at Afsaal for breakfast. And lunch at Cattle Baron Skukuza. Friendly and competent service was the norm. Curios however is expensive and not fit for someone on a tight budget. Apart from that, bathrooms were well serviced and clean. I really would do this again.

Other than the natural beauty, which goes with out saying, the camps and gates were staffed by the most frienly people I have encountered. Well done guys. The park was clean, we had good food in the camps we visited, well done, great experience

Always a wonderful experience. Park officials very friendly and well-trained, however often seen speeding and sometimes not respecting distance towards animals. Dirt roads in dire need of maintenance. Food menu offers good food but monotonous between camps (very little variety) and compared to food courts outside park somewhat over priced and expensive.

Goof

An authentic African wildlife experience, I recomend planning your stay around long crawling trips. Be prepared with binoculars, animal books and check the sighting boards at the camps and gates.

This place needs no further reviewing from anyone. It is well known that it is brilliant. Stay at a comfortable camp inside, satara is possible, take the early and/or late safaris and make sure to drive around on your own during the day... In your urge to catch the big five, Don't miss the joy of catching the little wonders like the owls, the tortoises crossing the roads, the pretty birds, hares and whatnot.

Naturally wonderful, we visited the park in February and it is sooo hot, I recommend a pick-up instead of in utilitarian to turn inside the park so you can access areas with dirt roads otherwise difficult to reach.
