I was looking for an apt and contacted Kroger investments. I did the live chat over the phone. I received a reply to my chat request in about 10 seconds. Erika was very professional and friendly. She asked pertinent questions of my needs in a new apt. After a few minutes she sent me a list of available properties in my price range.

She made my day and put me at ease in seeking an apartment . I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a place to rent.

Very professional and prompt.

Thank you again Erika

No working AC in my unit at Bristle Pointe Apartme...

No working AC in my unit at Bristle Pointe Apartments and the people we have dealt with are no help. Been dealing with this for over a year now from the moment we moved in. I was told over and over that there was no issues with my AC and would keep it running to se if we could at least keep the temperature decent (it didn't) just sky rocketed my light bill. My unit reaches 95 degrees and still a year later nothing has been done about it. I have proof that I have been getting the run around and today I even escalated my concern and still nothing. My light bill hit $250 and over all summer last year and I can't even cook or stay inside my unit because of how hot it gets. These are not living conditions!

Do not get us wrong, we are grateful for our home, but it has been very difficult the past 4 months. Our apartment was rushed to get ready for us to move in, our bath tub and shower was not properly sealed and the paint cover peels all the time. It took 2 weeks to get our garage disposal fixed. Half of the laundry units are unavailable as they are unattended and have moldy water in the washers. People dump their furniture and garage all over the place when its stated in the lease agreement that it is prohibited and nothing is done for about a week till they have it cleaned up.
For the whole time we have been here, we been having issues with NV Energy and our complex. We called in November and was told that it would be taken care of before rent was due and so we could avoid late charges. It was not taken care of, my partner called 4 times before the 5th and the manager of the apartment was rude and stated that that wasn't what she said, so not only did we get a late payment on our rent this month, they decided to send us a 7 day notice. Which we took care of. The issue is still pressing on as we recieved an email stating that the NV Energy bill is now in our hands and they don't want to even try to fix it, and it wasn't that hard. We called and got the billing directed to us.
This brings up another issue,
they add charges no problem onto your account but then say they cannot take it off. WHEN THEY ADDED IT! and we were told that it doesn't work like that.

Its very hard to get ahold of anyone for help, since its only able to communicate through email or phone number. But there is no point since my partner will call and even leave a voicemail and never get a response back.
We hope someone from the management team at Kromer can get in contact with us since it is very ridiculous since we do pay a good amount of money to rent here and it is not up to the standards we were promised and what we read in our lease.

Kromer Investments have great customer service! I had a couple of questions about a property I was interested in & I used the text us on their website and got a response in minutes!! They answered all my questions in a very informative way. They also asked if I would like to receive a text updates when more are available which is very convenient!!

I haven't had as bad experiences as others, but I ...

I haven't had as bad experiences as others, but I do see a pattern of incompetence at best, and negligence at worst, so I'm compelled to leave a less than favorable review. Homesuites advertised studio apartments at $700/month. Found out it was actually $720/mo. I should have cried bait-and-switch right there, but I was as desperate as all the other out-of-state Tesla recruits. I settled on a larger studio for $865/mo ($845 plus this $20 switch). Carpet was not new but I had to move in THAT day. I was actually taking off work to make it happen. Knowing what I know now, I may have lost a lot more sleep trying to get new carpeting. My downstairs neighbor says he hears every step I take because the floors have been built up and never reconditioned properly. I tend to agree, there is a huge slope in my floor and every step makes a squeak. I can't do anything when he is sleeping because I'm afraid I'll wake him up. Within six months they raised my rent $200 which "included" internet and DirecTV. Meanwhile the apartment next to me sat vacant for several weeks or more. Maybe if they improved their vacancy % there wouldn't be a need to hike rent on everyone else. It took five calls and several months to get my internet installed correctly, and I never got the NFL Sunday Ticket promotion. I lost a lot of sleep waiting on installers who never showed or had to return because they either didn't have my info correct or the wrong hardware. I don't even use DirecTV. The hypocrisy: I hate the notices that I'm not to have anything under the stairs - which I don't - yet several apartments have stuff everywhere. They threaten to tow cars that don't have plates WHICH IS NOT ILLEGAL, yet there are cars in the parking lot at this moment with no tags, and no consequences. The online pay system is a joke. I've been threatened with eviction more than once because of glitches in their online payment system, including last month when I paid my rent manually not realizing I still had auto pay on. Luckily the money was there, but it took them a week to return the extra payment of $1,065, and that was only after calling PayLease four times and Kromer Investments three times. They had the nerve to suggest I leave the money in there and they credit me the next month. Yeah, I have an extra $1K laying around every month. If this would have resulted in overdraft fees because subsequent transactions would have been processed with insufficient funds, I would be suing Kromer Investments right now instead of ranting. They paint mailboxes when doors and windows aren't properly insulated, and trees are dripping sap on cars. My dishwasher wasn't even wired correctly when I moved in. They barely maintain expectations, and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt. They do nothing to inform us when there are known service issues. There have been several regularly unruly neighbors they don't seem to be concerned with. When I worked nights they would work during the middle of the day on apartments next to or near me, not in the morning or at night, but when I'm trying to sleep. If it wasn't that, it was somebody bumping their stereo as loud as they can and managers turning a blind eye until I say something. I just signed a year lease. I wish I hadn't.
