Very nice hotel, the staff will take care of you. The meals are delicious and are prepared by a chef. My 12 year old daughter was able to enjoy this beautiful infinity pool and I was able to enjoy our private pool when I needed privacy. I highly recommend.

Sublime place, clean beach and very beautiful white sand. However, the management leaves something to be desired. we had a big problem of water during 2 days and nobody knew how to manage it => no bottles of water, no infos ... and the manager did not know what to do ... nevertheless it is Italian! the rooms could be a little cleaner ... and the pool renewed because not clean at all ... the breakfast could offer more things and improve his bread. gift shop a bit expensive ....

As I got to the Kono Kono I realized I was in a wonderful place. The resort is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful and well-kept vegetation. Everything perfect for a holiday for which relaxation is assured. Excellent services very kind and caring staff. Special thanks to General Manager Maurizio for his welcome and professionalism.

One of the worst hotels we've visited.

One of the worst hotels we've visited.

Rooms are extremely basic and nothing like the pictures. The inside is bare and looks like it's missing furniture. The outside cushions look like someone has died on them. I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it. Hot water lasts for 3 minutes, so if you're more than one person in the room prepare for cold showers. The honeymoon package came with a broken champagne glass (really classy). The beds are uncomfortable and small. The towels are all, and I mean all, filthy dirty. From the towel you use to dry yourself after the shower to the hand towels in the toilets - disgusting.

Food was diabolical. For a 5 star hotel offering a buffet dinner, serving pasta with tomato sauce is just unacceptable. They offer absolutely nothing fresh and there are more than 20 members of staff ready to take your plate to the table, a little overwhelming seeing as we were the only couple dinning.

Hotel staff, most are lovely but watch out for reception. They will try to scam you out of every Euro possible. We wanted to rent a car, they organised some dude to drop off his car which was a heap of junk that came with a 50cm machete under the driver floor mat charging 50usd per day. Only after we left, our new hotel organised a jeep convertible for half the price.

The beach activities include a both kayaks and paddle boards, however, nothing can be used because all of the paddles are either faulty or broken.

The masais (typical African security guard) are all on their phones, all the time. They are just placed there like a Disneyland attraction.

Max, who is someone we only spoke to on the phone, is a liar. He is the root of the the issues as he was telling our agency one thing, and us a different story. This cause heat between everyone.

Lastly, the general manager, Mauricio, is one of the worst people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. All of the staff are scared of him and his way to solve problems are to shout at his guests and try to scare us into leaving. It didn't work and I actually managed to get a picture of him screaming and pointing his finger at us while accusing us of breaking glasses

He also threatened us to call the police should we carry on complaining. This is the general manager of this 5 star hotel.

STAY AWAY.
