I cannot say enough about the expertise and professionalism of the Kodiak Veterinary Clinic, I am happy to have them in Kodiak. While some might complain about the cost....I wonder if they've looked at their own doctor bills lately? Pets, like kids, are expensive.... but worth it.

I ve now been there a few times. The staff and Vets are so great with my dog. It is a little pricey but it s the only option in Kodiak that I know of.

Kodiak Veterinary Clinic was very accommodating to take care of our injured 10 year old Labrador retriever. He needed stitches around his eye and they did a great job and were very thorough. I love the fact they gave us paperwork to go so the follow up vet who'll be taking his stitches out has all the information they'll need. They we're very kind to us strangers!

My Best Friends Dead!!!!
Quite possibly the worst Veterinary service,I have ever unfortunately been around. Called repeatedly for a appointment, never returned call. A month later and my best friend is dead. Still got to pay them 96.00 dollars to ship his body to Anchorage for Cremation. They never had his records right even through I gave them the records. Maybe, they didnt call back is because all they can do is vaccations, overpriced plus on the wrong schedule. (Iknow this because my pet had a rabies shot that was good for Three Years, repeatedly sent notices, even though he was good for another 2 Years) God help you if you have a pet on Kodiak, because the Vet. Service here won't be able to help!!!! You would not even believe how many Urns, and Paw prints they have behind the desk for pick up. SAD

Do not get your dogs' nails clipped here especially if they have an injury or are disabled. My dog who is old and has a reconstructed hip was completely traumatized by the vet techs who, according to someone who worked there who witnessed it, was held down roughly and incorrectly. According the same person, there seems to general trend of treating the animals too roughly and with disregard. My dog recently had her nails cut by a friend and she was shaking uncontrollably, freaking out more than we've ever seen her and trying to run away. Perhaps this is why at this vet clinic they do not allow owners to be in the room while they cut the nails. Absolutely unacceptable.

They got us in quickly and were great with my fur baby. They were very accommodating with his needs!

They go above and beyond. Truly care about your pets.

I really liked the staff, appointments moved along very timely. Dr. Emily is excellent. Veterinary assistant's very knowledgeable. First time appointment, I was very pleased with the care. I also feel that, with office visit ,vaccines, ear cleaner. That my medical visit bill was comparable to my vet in Minnesota.

Sasha was treated gently and kindly. The staff and Dr. listened to my concerns and clearly explained what was going on and the next steps to take.

My cat Bobs has had diabetes for a few years now and they have been so professional in giving him the care he needs. The staff is very friendly and responsive to questions and concerns I have. They are a great team to work with and I feel like Bobs is getting the best care a pet owner could ask for.

We had a great experience here. My favorite dog, Zak, was losing weight slowly but gradually until he was pretty darned thin, despite eating everything in sight. Dr. Smith was super good with him, he lost his anxiety the moment she walked into the room, and she helped us get a correct diagnosis, while keeping costs down. We are grateful for her!

I was wondering how the transition from the old veterinarians to the new would go and have had many bad experiences before in other places, but after meeting both the new veterinarians I am happy and confidant taking my animals for care.
Recently my dogs health and behavior began to change. Dr Bodiker was thorough in my four legged babies assessment and care. Her overall health is really good, but I could tell a difference and instead of dismissing my concerns he listened and was determined to figure it out. A listener is RARE! We got it figured out and are monitoring her. We followed up with Dr Smith and as always she was great.
Overall, even though with transfer seasons coming and going they maintain a professional staff who truly care about animals.

Responded quickly to our concern about our dog --- fitting her into a busy afternoon schedule.

I won't be visiting Kodiak Vet Clinic until Dr. Bodiker is replaced.

Being this is the only veterinary service we have available in Kodiak it's hard to make an evaluation of services rendered. My visits have had a positive outcome with what needed to be done with my pets and am glad that Kodiak does have a veterinary service available.

The staff was great with my puppy and helped me understand the shots and vaccines he would be needing.

Had to get flight certificates for my dogs.. they squeezed in appointments for both. Super friendly staff and they loved my dogs. Reasonable cost for services!

Very thankful for the fast affordable service we received for our loveys! Better then past experiences!

You can tell that all the employees, including the office manager, really care about the animals they are taking care of. A great group of people!

Wonderful people who genuinely care about the well-being of your animal companions (fur babies). The staff are helpful and are always willing to answer questions and assist you in any way that they can. They are priced fairly given the remote location of the clinic on Kodiak Island. They do their best to schedule appointments despite being constantly busy as the only veterinary clinic in Kodiak. It is a business with a lot of heart.

We had to come back because the vet missed our appointment because she could not make it in because of weather, but the staff got us another appointment right away. The staff is always friendly and I feel the vet is knowledgeable and kind. However, prices are very high, up to 30% higher than elsewhere in Alaska. I know that this makes care too expensive for many in our small community of Kodiak, Alaska.

love the staff even though they are not an avian vet they always go the extra step to try their absolute best to make my critters feel welcomed and well taken care off while they find solutions for my birds needs thank you so much for that <3

This was our first visit to the clinic and my boy tends to be hesitant to meet anyone. Everyone in the clinic was wonderful and attentive. He warmed up quickly to the providers. I know the price will be more due to location, but the care is awesome!

Staff is always friendly and they've help us through some tough times. Be prepared to pay though, they are not cheap.

I was very happy with the care they provided to my little baby. They are very schooled in the process in getting a dog to Hawaii. Nice people.

The team did a great job with our puppy Lilly. She went in to get spayed and the experience was good from beginning to end from all the vet staff and front counter. Until we met the manager. At the time we did not know who she was. She was standing behind the front counter staff. Once we went up to the counter to pay and she realized who our puppy was she jump right into insulting our puppy. Oh your dog is the insecure one that....... and she went on and on. I have worked in the veterinary profession and no matter how challenging someone's dog or cat was I would never berate them in front of the owner. Lilly is 6 months old and her first scary visit to the clinic and she has no idea what is going on. So yeah she was insecure I would be as well. If I had to go to a doctor and had no idea why I was there and what they were doing and they were poking me with needles. Tell me a human that would not be freaked out. It's normal. So please in the future out of respect for your clients and their fur babies keep your comments to yourself.

My cat was well taken care of, especially during her spay surgery! Great staff! I do wish that we could contact the staff through email to send pictures of the incision healing process! (My cat's incision looks good so far!)

Monopoly. Only vet in town. Price gouging is the norm.

As a pet owner who is a real stickler about who cares for her pets, I am so pleased with KVC! Dr. Emily handles my dogs needs so professionally. What I love most about her and her techs is how they all focus on establishing a relationship with their patients.
It is not uncommon to find them on the ground with my dogs giving them all the loves. Great medicine combined with a real passion will always earn a vet clinic 5 stars in my book.

Just moved here, had a sick little dog. they got us in right away, listened to my concerns and helped my little dog. So grateful they could see us right away.
