Knott's Berry Farm Review

A comfortable, clean, and cozy theme park close to home. Knott's has a great mix of roller coasters and thrill rides along with kid friendly choices. Be aware that some concessions are closed when there is less traffic in the park. This can make the food places that are open very busy. But the space you are able to take advantage of and the slower pace of park goers make it an ideal choice for families or larger groups. A variety of food choices inside and outside the park are great additions too.

We have a lot of parks down here in Southern California from LA to San Diego there is more to see and do than humanly possible. Starting with Universal Studios in Hollywood to Magic Mountain in San Dimas, down to Disneyland in Anaheim and all the way to LegoLand in San Diego there are enough attractions to suit every taste. I think the best value, accessibility, features, number of rides and proximity to Orange County is by far Knott's Berry Farm. They offer affordable season passes, thinning crowds after 5pm most nights and the rides range from crazy rollercoasters to Snoopy town, again something for everyone.

Love it so much fun and very reasonable prices. U have 2 robe a bank to go to Disneyland now days. But Knott's is more fun for the right price.

Very entertaining place for adults and children although some lines where 2 hours long and I am not about to pay 75 dollars on top of my ticket to get the fast pass. Other then that it was full of fun things to do and see.

The best thing about Knott's is that they have the best fried chicken that I have ever had, before my wife and I went gluten free we would drive our kids up there from San Diego County to L.A. just for the fried chicken. We can't eat here anymore and that is a real shame because it is damn good!

Not as accommodating for people with disabilities as I had hoped. It cost 16$ (plus 10$ deposit) for a manual wheelchair, and the lady that rented it to us didn't tell us that we had to go to a completely different side of the park to get some piece of paper that would allow us to use the handicap access for rides.

Otherwise, it is a very fun amusement park. Last time I had been was about 10 years ago. Definitely has lots of fun rides for adults and kids. Not too overpriced as far as amusement parks go.

Not as well oiled of a machine as Disneyland. The main issue I have is there height requirements. They are actually taller. My son is exactly 42 in however according to their height charts he is 40 inches. Make sure they are accustomed

I love this place because is fun and the environment is cool.

We have session passes n go all the time and we get to go to soak city. And we get free download of our pic on our card holder. We love this place. The only thing some rides my 5 yr cant get on n wants to she loves rides.

Knott's Berry Farm is growing up so quickly it's starting to feel more like a Disney Experience. Can't wait to see what they do in the next few years to Advanced the feeling of the park. The log ride and mine train now are completely amazing with animatronics. Such a wonderful experience. I wish they would bring back the soap box cars and the haunted mystery Shack. I also miss Knott's Berry Tales what a wonderful attraction it was. One other thing I wish they would bring up the quality of the chicken dinners like the old days. Other than that it is a must-see great experience and I love the mystery Lodge which is mind-blowing.... One last thing don't forget to go to Knott's Scary Farm it is by far the best Halloween experience that anyone has to offer.It is better than Universal and Disney put together....

Never seems to disappoint. This place has been my go-to over Disney many times over. One just needs to go early or rather late to avoid the crowds. Also would like for healthier options for food. I'm plant based and the options are very few and far in between.

The park was so much fun!!! The lines can get extremely long, like 2 hrs long! We all had a blast!!

Most of the times on weekends its crowded so be prepared on the lines for rides, on the other hand it's beautiful in the holidays, everyone in character gets a A+. Food is good everywhere. When its empty ride every ride twice or more. Must recommend getting a season pass they change the atmosphere all the time love the way they are so creative with everything. There is always something for every age. Just overall love this theme park

Very fun park and honestly pretty inexpensive; the prices are a lot lower than some other amusement parks in SoCal. Knott s Scary Farm is always great. They have great rides here for everyone. Mrs. Knott s Chicken Dinner Restaurant (right outside the park gates) is FANTASTIC, probably some of the best fried chicken I ve ever had.

Grew up going here, worked here as a teenager and still go back. Some rides are dated and its not the billion dollar industry that Disneyland is but that's why I like it. Its got history and charm and the food is really good. And the best part is you don't have to put the family in debt to go here like other amusement parks. Halloween Haunt is the best part of this place.

Compared to it's sister parks, Knott's falls short with a small handful of redeeming qualities.

Compared to it's local competition, Knott's is out of place and your money is best spent at Six Flags Magic Mountain or Universal Studios Hollywood or even experiencing Los Angeles.

Gold season pass holder here. Love visiting the park on weekdays. Very short lines to all the rides. Able to ride each ride twice in a couple of hours. Christmas time is a nice time to visit

Good old fun place to visit. The price is reasonable compared to other amusement parks and the size of the park was just right for one days trip. Make you want to come back.

I grew up going to Knotts Berry Farm every summer as a child. This place holds a lot of cherished memories, even if some things have changed over the years (the Calico Saloon no longer serves sasparilla in a boot shaped glass). But the themes are still great, especially the Ghost Town, the food is good, and the rollercoasters are excellent.

A beautiful place for the family to have a good time.

Wish there was more clowns and though I had a great time(not a tourist trap), I should have gone to the haunted house first

This is a great place to take anyone that love to go on rides. Eat before you get there.

Good times for the whole family. A great park for the younger kids too. Stay until after dark. Be prepared to walk from the parking lot.

Love Disneyland!!! It is truly magical no matter how many times you go. The photographers around the park are great. We never take our camera any more and just use their photographers. We have been there a few times and plan to go back. My toddler loves it there as well.

It has great rolacoster and tons of games to win prizes great food

Had a great time with with friends. The park was very clean, their little to no wait for the rides. It was almost earry in a way. We haven't been there for about 20 years, and could not believe how short the wait was for the rides. Awesome day.

fantastic rides and not too busy. no real waiting times for any rides. not quite in Disney's league but better than 6 flags. lots of food choices albeit a bit expensive. all in all worth a visit!

Better than Disneyland as for as pricing goes and food and rides and internment and parker but not in crude employees, Disneyland will alway when with the worst employees.

This place is amazing. Great thrill rides, but Ghost Town is the star of Knott's Berry Farm. Ride the train, walk the streets, catch a show. Truly a magical place.

Had a great time with my family it met my expectations and rides are extremely scary and awesome

I love this place so much, the workers are very very nice and ive never had a problem with any rides or cast members. The park was beggining to close and my brother really wanted to go on silver bullet and one of the cast members that was operating a different ride talked to the silver bullet cast member and we were able to go on it even tho it was already 9:06 p.m.

I went opening night of Knott's Scarry Farm. I loved every minute of it. The people running around and scaring you was heart pounding. The mazes were fun and so we're the rides. I'll come back next year.

Great rides but we were there for 8 hours and only rode 5 rides due to lines. Awesome place to take the family if you like sweating and sunburns.

It was a great day! Workers didn't seem happy to be there, maybe they need more breaks, or better perks? Ghost Rider was the best ride! You need to consider renumbering the thrill count. Survey your guests for their opinions. Also, you need more rides like g
Ghost Rider. Consider a lazy river arrive the ENTIRE Berry Farm (up high) with a clear bottom and everyone should get a sample of what a Boysenberry tastes like. One more thing. We never needed the ALL DAY PASS for food - we're too busy riding rides, so it's too much money ($32 when you buy online) and it's $18 for parking online or at the park (RVs are $23). Go when they open! Get the Fast Lane pass!

Worth every dime! Recommended for all ages especially 10 and up

We love coming to Knott's all the time. The annual passes are way affordable, including soak city, with no black out dates at all...unlike another park nearby... . Summers could be a bit crowded but it's expected. Pretty relaxed atmosphere and cool rides.

Very fun amusement park that has s lot of rides and restaurants to eat in inside.

It was so beautiful and the rides were so fun, there's so much food places to eat at but it is a bit pricey.

I bought tickets online through AAA for $48 ea. That was a great deal, but parking is $19 and, in my opinion, food is not reasonably priced. At Johnny Rockets the burgers are approx. $10, fries are an additional $7, sodas are $6. You can purchase a daily souvenir cup for $14 that allows you to refill as many times as you like on the day you purchase it. (There's a label on it that the cashier scans for proof of purchase.) Any other day of the year you are charged $1 per refill. Or you can purchase a souvenir season cup for $30 that allows you to refill unlimited times any day of the season. There were 8 people in our party so I bought 4 daily souvenir cups and we shared. We only bought 4 orders of fries to share. Bottled water is 3.99 ea or $6 for 2. The employees were very friendly. The park was not too crowded, but there were long lines at the more popular rides. There is security at the entrance checking handbags, backpacks, etc.

My family loves Knotts!! All the festivals, shows, rides, and food keep us entertained year after year!!

They have great rides for both teenagers and toddler's.

It is a great experience for the whole family. As well as thrill seekers. I just love the scary rides and I do live to hang out with my little siblings on the kiddy rides too!

The lines were surprisingly quick. We went on everything we planned. The Dole Whip is fantastic.

My family and I used to have season passes at Disneyland until it became ridiculously expensive and their version of family values has changed and does not match our family values any longer, and so we no longer cared to return again. We decided to do passes at Knott's Berry farm and we have loved it ever since. This is our third year and we come quite often from Fresno, to visit Knott's. The rides are fun and the shows are exceptional!! The interaction with the guests at ghost Town is an experience in itself. It's fun for the whole family and something that we definitely can afford and so we return many times throughout the year. Christmas at Knott's Berry farm for our family, is amazing and we look forward to coming every Christmas Season. Knott's Berry farm may not be the biggest park in the area but to us and many more like us, it's the best park for our "family".

I go once a week since im a platinum pass holder. Me and my 3yo daughter love it here

Great place for family. Good rollercoasters. Amusement Park prices, but good chicken and funnel cakes. Great staff! Very friendly, approachable, and professional. -star for parking. Expensive. It used to be reasonable. And if you leave the amusement park parking lots, you need to pay again. The marketplace parking lot has become like downtown Disney's (you'll need to spend a fair amount of money now). Not as expensive as DD, but there aren't as many shopping options either. So it is a wash.

Lines wouldn't have to be so slow if they trained their staff how to load and unload the rides.

Took my kids to Knott's Berry farm. Son is 22, daughter is 16.
Nice weather. Many kids from summer camps. Only line that was over an hour was free-fall.
Snoopy is awesome.
All amusement parks will have waiting lines. After 4 pm, the park was not crowded. Allows us to enjoy rides without the long waits. Even rode some more than three times.
Beautiful weather helped with enjoyment of the park.
We shall return again. Thanks for a good time at Knott's Berry farm.

Firstly, it's decently priced to get in, but stupid expensive to get a beer and grab some food. Definitely lacking there. If you want Modelo or warm red wine, then you'll be fine. But that's not why anyone goes to a them park. The rides are amazing and fun as hell, if you are willing to spend an additional $80 for a fast pass to get to the front of the line. If not, the expect a 2-3+ hour wait time just to catch a ride on the coasters. All in all I spent a whole bunch that day and spent 60+% of my time waiting around for rides, but I still had a blast. If you're gonna go, buy a season pass package, even if it's only for a one day trip, it still ends up being on about $15 more per person, but you have the opportunity to return for cheap.

Still a great place to take the kids , lots to do price is affordable with agreat mix of high speed roller coasters and mild paced rides

Knotts is a very fun place to bring people of all ages. There are really fun and intense roller coasters for the thrill seekers and Camp Snoopy for the younger kids. I recommend that you come first thing in the morning to get on as many rides. Longest wait time I've seen is only 3 hours. And in October mostly everything was walk on. I recommend this if you dont like standing in lines or are a thrill seeker. :)

Great place full of fun and nostalgia. The coasters are fun and provide great thrills - my personal favorite is the Ghost Rider. I recommend anything boysenberry!

I love Knott's, we've had season passes for like 5years. Not consecutive though . I love coming here with the family. I love this park.

Great place to walk around and get exercise. Not a huge place like magic mountain but you do not get lost this way. Friendly staff keeping us comming back. Can be busy or congested in places and busy on the weekends

You must get the fast pass!!! We went on a Saturday. The lines were 45 minutes to 2 hour wait. But with the fast pass, holy moly, we waited no less than 5 minutes a ride. We rode several rides twice!!! Also the all day dining was great to have.

Got the pass $99, food pass for $115 and parking for $75. Covers the whole year, no blackout days. Great deal for those of us that can't afford the most expensive place on earth. I strongly recommend Knott's. But please not on the days I go , shorter lines you know. Ha, ha, ha.

The kids had a blast. The snoopy room at the hotel is a great deal!

This is a TOP NOTCH theme park. Nice staff, great facilities, good prices, nice food and drink choices.

The chicken can be dry and tasteless, and biscuits have a weird taste to them.... And the cabbage was undercooked... You're paying for the name mostly. But they do have good things on the menu that you will enjoy, the salads, chicken n dumplings... And ofc The pie.

Best place to see & captured memories as family grows & talk about the best memories for years to come.

This is an amazing place to take a family, even if you were to not go on any ride you could do spend an entire day here having fun.
Plus it's nowhere near as crowded as bigger theme parks

This place is wonderful. If you like roller coasters ,this is the place you should go. There are many different versions of Knott's, but I prefer the water version for a hot day. This place is so amazing and calming at the same time

You definitely get your money's worth.The shows are always great.

Went to visit the marketplace just outside of Knotts to pick up a few essentials of almost all things boysenberry (like the boysenberry punch and the jelly). We also stopped by the Starbucks to get their boysenberry frappuccino (yum!), a venti was perfect to share.

I loved all the Peanuts themed stuff. The fudge is delicious. Love the fun gift shops.

The barbecue in the ghost town has a far better serving size than the other BBQ place. I really enjoyed the smoked Turkey leg. I prefer the sides over the bag of chips.

A nice place to spend time with your family! The restaurants are Pleasant and not overpriced and there is a lot to do at the park. The wait times for the lines are not too bad, especially depending on which day of the week that you go. We have season passes and we usually go on the weekend and the park is not overcrowded in the lines are not too long compared to Disneyland where the price is too much and you can only ride like two or three rides

Knott's is the best theme/amusement park that I have ever been to. I even think it's more fun than Disneyland. Most of the time you don't even have to wait for a ride. If you like thrill rides, and history, you should definitely go here. Also, there is a kid area called Camp Snoopy and all the rides that I have been on are fun. One thing: You should definitely check out Silver Bullet if you can.

They took away the front row parking. Handicap is quite the treck. The place is still just the same as I remembered as a kid
