Seriously biggest mistake stopping to eat here. We got better food at the concession stand..

my burger looked like a childs burger that was deflated... my fries were hardly warm... $4.25 for somthing that I could of gotten way better at a gas station

If you feel like waiting for an hour for a meal that's a 7 at best then go for it

Food was fine. Very reasonably priced for an amusement park! Terribly slow service. If you've only got one day in the park, you can't afford spending two hours in here eating lunch.

The Alamo is a fine gem of a restaurant located within a treasure trove of a park which is Knoebels. It has become a bit of a family tradition to go to the delightful Alamo after enjoying some of the rides. The food and service have always been excellent, despite the restaurant being perpetually slammed. I especially recommend the fried chicken, and anything involving turkey. Go to the Alamo and start your own family tradition.

Chicken and biscuits was dry and bland. Pepper helped! Son loved the burger. Service was ok.

Has to be the best amusment park food anywhere. Price great. Food amazing. Staff very friendly and happy.

Took forever to get seated, took forever to get food. Waiting at a stand would be faster

It took about an hour to get our food this is the first time this has happened they are usually very quick the food seems to be going down hill hopefully they will overcome whatever problem they are having

When we go to Knoebels, the Alamo is a must go for lunch. Great food and decent prices.

Slow service, forgot to bring some of my food, 3/4 of my plate was filled with potato chips, asked for a medium burger, got it well done, supposed to be a bacon cheeseburger, had a single piece of thin bacon, and was a tiny patty. Waiter was nice, but that's about it. Highly unsatisfied about my visit today, and I've been coming here for years.

The food had little to no taste and my son even noticed that most of the food there was the same food that they used for his school lunches therefore the Alamo was just using pre packaged frozen food.

Food is good (in line with Knoebels reputation for great food) but the service could be better. You'll wait a while for your food.

Good food for cheaper than most done in restaurants- it being in the park makes the cost even more incredible.

Nothing but hospitable. The food is pretty good, and very cheap for what you get. Sometimes a wait but what would expect from a restaurant in one of PA's greatest amusement parks?

Best place to eat for the money!! We didn't come out hungry!!

Waited over an hour for our food while there were numerous tables around us sitting empty. Management blamed the "fully new staffed kitchen" and the fact that this was "only their 3rd weekend being open." Definitely a let down especially when the food came out cold and super dry. Waitress went to serve our chicken cordon Bleu and asked if we had the haddock. Even the wait staff didn't know what they were serving. Not sure if we will be back this season to the Alamo restaurant while visiting Knoebels

Great place to just sit and relax, order a round or two of waters while you beat the heat and pretend you're looking at the menu because you're hungry and plan on ordering a meal.

Disgusting quality. Between the fact that we had to hold a newborn the entire meal because he's too young to sit up in a booster seat and they wouldn't let us keep his stroller with us so we could enjoy the meal, the food was DISGUSTING. I love knobels, I was looking forward to the chicken and waffles all day....they were gross.

Ugh. Spent 60 bucks for prison slop.

Food was good but I had to wait 45 minutes for my food

The food was fresh n good. Alamo is clean n air conditioned. Server was preoccupied n also busy. Forgot a few things we needed like forks. But we survived n enjoyed ourselves in the park.

Rather expensive but the food was good and staff just as great. Kids were happy and parents were happy to go there. Not bad for a first impression !

Great sit-down restaurant with unbelievably friendly wait staff (even friendlier, than anybody in America anyway), super delicious food and so many German-language allusions in the menu (such as "wake-up call").

The folks at all of the Knoebel's eateries go out of their way to make you feel at home. Meals are tasty and well prepared, and plentiful. The steaks are hand cut and delicious and the Alamo Burger is great. The Amish style chicken and waffles is spot on, and the Weck sandwiches are the best thing on the menu. Make sure you have at least one meal here during your visit!

Always a great meal at The Alamo. Famous Signature Chicken and Waffles are always the best. Marissa was a great server, thanks. Hot Bacon dressing on the salad was another plus. Plenty of bacon pieces, and it was hot. Though busy, the wait time was pretty accurately presented to our party of four adults. A great refuge from the rain; comfortable, real sit-down dining in a casual amusement park atmosphere.

Good food, quick service, nice atmosphere, and fair prices. Great experience.

Our server Kevin was great. However the food was small servings and mediocre. This was always a nice treat during our visits but we will pass in the future. Quality just not there.

VERY CLEAN restaurant. Staff very pleasant, curtious & friendly. Chicken & waffles was delicious. Bigger serving then I expected. No reason to leave hungry when you eat here. Also air conditioned!

Highly recommend the open faced roast beef with fries. It is real slow cooked pot roast in a nice gravy!!

Awesome food. Really nice place to eat in the park especially if you want a sit-down dining experience. Only thing taking it down from 5 stars was it was a bit of a wait for the food.
