New management turned the golf course around. Improved the greens , the cart paths. Fixed the greens, remodeled clubhouse. New chef! And a fully redone pavilion. Owner has turned it around big time. It seems like a labor of love, and it shows. Always a very good course, and now returned to it's previous high quality. Fun course. Narrow fairways in places. Very pretty course. Priced fairly. Good value.
Greens were really dry/fast. About half the sand traps now actually have sand, which is a big improvement. Improvements are being made.
I have been there before we ate in the tent which is very nice but there was not a big enough selection of food for the price that they charge you the chicken was very dry and their dessert table was nothing to brag about

First of all this was a scorcher mid to high 90's ab
And humid. Rates were very reasonable and it's nice to have help with bags between upper and lower levels. A very nice touch was course passing out bottled water for free when we started. Btw nice clubhouse facility and outdoor food bar.
The course is in reasonable condition and is characterized by lots of water and quicker than average undulating greens. Another surprise first time in months I've played a course with regular cups, no foam rubber inserts or other covid cup protections.
Just wanted to say, that since new ownership has taken over, this club has improved ten-fold. The food is amazing , the staff is friendly, and the course has never been in better shape. Greg the GM has done a wonderful job making this place an attractive club that any avid or amateur golfer would enjoy. The bar is fantastic and they have some top-shelf bourbons as well for those of us who consider themselves bourbon enthusiasts. The addition of the golf simulators has given us something to do during these frigid winter months and the special events are always something to look forward to. Keep up the good work Klein Creek management and staff and thank you!
Klein Creek is one of my favorite GOAT courses, played here a lot this year and was never disappointed. The back patio is a great area to sit and have a burger and a beer after the round. The course was really well maintained all year and the greens were in excellent condition each time I went out. Fantastic place for a round of golf.
Challenging and interesting layout, but the bunkers were dried mud pits when I went in July. See picture.
Played Wednesday at 3:50 with members supposedly in front of the 4 pm league. 2 groups in front were league members. The group at 3:40 were slow and they payed all 18. They also were in the league. They were lining their putts up slowly and acted like they were trying to make the cut at a major championship. Played again on Friday same time behind the same group which was 2 holes behind the group in front of them. Why would you pay $51 to wait on every shot with zero rangers on the course. I don t care if you are members or not have some respect for others or better yet line your shots/putts up while the other guys are playing.
Went from 2 stars to 5 stars due to quick response from the owner. Pace of play is important for all. I will say as someone who played the course in the past the bunkers are much improved. Course improvements in regards to traps and cart paths to removal of shrubs and trees along hole number 5. Great test of golf then add customer service then it becomes a very good test of golf. Add rangers and I think you have it.
Nice looking course. Lots of water comes into play laterally. Sand traps need some rejuvenating.
