Very nice therapists to the staff.

Very nice therapists to the staff.
And which clinic can say that you have long-eared owls in the pines in front of the entrance. If that's not already symbolic !!
In esotericism it has a meaning as a power animal. Here, too, she stands for cleverness and wisdom, for detachment, change and nocturnal visions. It should lift the veil of the soul and help to recognize the power of the subconscious. Their mark is the holy book of wisdom.

I went to the Kitzberg Clinic twice to treat my PTSD, dissociative disorder and depression. Both stays were this year (January-March and June-August 2020). I spent a total of 18 weeks in the clinic. I think the clinic is good, so I also decided on an interval. In my second stay there were some organizational problems, as there is a shortage of staff in the care sector. The chief doctor is not my taste either. But I only had to do with him when the senior doctor was on vacation. The clinic could improve in some areas so that it goes better organizationally. It should be emphasized that the therapist, senior physician and nursing staff are really top. I was able to take a lot with me during both stays and I was taken for who I am and not condemned or threatened with transfer, which was very often the case with me in other clinics. Everyone is very concerned about the patient's well-being. You are very independent in the clinic. Organizing (arriving on time for the appointments, organizing your free time) is not ideal for everyone. It was great for me. The decor of the room is very good and modern. Double rooms are also only occupied by 1 person, so that you have your own retreat. Will come back here next year for the 3rd interval. 1 star deduction for organizational problems and the chief physician.

I was in the clinic for 7 weeks from May-July 2018. It started with an absolutely catastrophic admission interview, after which I wanted to go straight home. The subsequent first conversation with my reference therapist wasn't much better either, and I didn't really feel comfortable right from the start. The other patients, on the other hand, were the best there from the start and I was immediately received very nicely. The nursing staff has also always tried to somehow straighten out the sometimes really catastrophic conditions. However, most of the nurses were not trained enough to really help you, most of the time you only got some lists or heat ointment as skills. So in the end, apart from the fellow patients who were always there for you, you were more alone. In general, the whole organization there was catastrophic and, unfortunately, you could feel that as a patient.
Unfortunately, the situation in the dining room was also unbearable. The actually different meal times were not adhered to, so young people, toddlers and parents all sat together in the dining room. The nursing staff did not respond to loud screams and children running around. The care for patients with eating disorders could also have been significantly better. At lunchtime, the meal was looked after, but in the mornings and evenings you were left to your own devices, although many patients there might still have needed help. After lunch there was then a sitting time, but a quick quick to the toilet on the way from the dining room to the sitting room was no problem for the nursing staff.
Another negative point is the treatment of patients under 14. They have to spend the whole day in the children's center with 5 year olds, while the other patients can enjoy their free time. In contrast to the older ones who have the cell phone 24 hours, they only have the cell phone 1 hour per day. The under 14 year olds also don't have a fixed reference group like the others, overall there were very, very strong differences, some of which were really not fair.

The anorexia / bulimia group, on the other hand, was positive and helped a lot. Other therapy offers outside the home and with specialized therapists, such as sports, art and riding therapy, gave you a good feeling. And as I said, the nursing staff, who always tried to help wherever they could. The environment also really helps to get "healthy". Alone from the fireplace room you have a wonderful view where you can really relax. And as I said, the fellow patients. These were really the best of the whole stay, and despite the fact that hardly anyone was satisfied with the clinic, we made the best of it.

In the end, I couldn't recommend the clinic with a clear conscience and would not go there again.

That was my 2nd clinic. Was extremely afraid due to bad experiences with the 1st clinic (canceled after 3 weeks). Was very pleasantly surprised. Newcomers are greeted very quickly by fellow patients and integrated so that you can quickly get used to it. Most of the therapists and carers are very nice and respond intensively to needs. The cleaning team is very friendly and cleans thoroughly. The food is very tasty except for lunch, but sometimes hygienically not so correct (no mouthguard on the dispenser or hair in the food). The staff in the kitchen is unfortunately very brisk in the tone, which rather intimidated me. The therapies are super great and helpful. In total, I was there for almost 3 months and would go back at any time if I felt worse again

No decision right,

No decision right,
it is decided over your own head where to stay for therapy, whether acute, reha etc.
Something like this should already be discussed with one another and not simply an application for something else should be made behind the back of the patient who registers in this clinic.
You volunteer in a clinic and then tell me that I have no right to make a decision?
You are sick, but you are far from being stupid and unsuspecting.
Secretariat rude.

I felt accepted and understood. The staff and the therapists were always very helpful and friendly. The ambiance had little of a clinic, but more of a hotel. The food was good, varied, healthy and adequate. The proximity to the spa park was also good.
