Kirkish Furniture, Inc. Review

Lots of furniture, more than I was expecting. Furniture is always pricey I think, unless it's used or junk. Everything we've gotten here has held up at least!

We've been buying home furnishings from Kirkish for two generations now, and continue to be pleased. We recently had two servicemen out to do some repairs on a freeze-damaged clothes washer. They showed up at the scheduled time, cheerfully moved the 400+ pound stacked washer/dryer, and finished the job. We're very pleased. .

Disappointed, the appliance selection was very weak. They did not even acknowledge us when we came in, or after we had spent extensive time in the store. Several stoves had no burner tops? Displays seemed chaotic.
It wasn't a matter of they were busy helping others, which I could understand, more of a general apathy.
We had just moved and needed a full appliance refit for our new home. With a few furniture pieces. So that could been a pretty lucrative sale for them.
Maybe the staff were having a bad day?
I am not sure anymore as it seems more and more businesses forgot customer first enthusiasm and appear self absorbed.

Perhaps this review will help with perspective.

Way too expensive. I was looking for mattresses and I came across the same brand, color and style of couch I have. I bought mine in Texas for $900, they were asking $3k. Just ridiculous prices. Go anywhere else

Had a very bad experience with this place several years ago. The salesman was rude and inpatient. We ordered a set of table and chairs. There was a big crack in the table. The guy fixed the problem with a marker. We asked for a return, the salesman was rude. Will never go to this place.

They were very rude and would not help us find what we wanted.

Got a new gas stove nothing fancy but it was the best deal around

Kirkish Furniture offers great service and definitely stays true to their small town roots. After my family purchased a TV and it stopped working after a couple of weeks, George replaced the TV and actually came to the house to help with the set up. Great service!

Was good just checking out prices for kitchen appliances

I am a student and they showed me cheap options for everything, got a nightstand, mattress, and bedframe all for $260!

My wife went in here a few days ago and was pretty much ignored. She spent 10 minutes or so in there and none of the sales people could bother getting off there smartphones or stepping away from desks to even acknowledge her. I will be taking my business elsewhere. To bad for them it would have been a pretty easy sale.

Purchased a Maytag range, after it was installed we started having issues with a sensor which would shut the oven down when it was on. Called Kirkish and they came out and replaced everything! The service guy even took a quick look at our refrigerator and fixed that for us too! Best place to get what you need with great quality and excellent customer service!

Good selection of stuff at this store. Prices are a little on the high side, however customer service is probably the best in the area. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't know a particular detail about something, they won't pretend to know, they actually go get a manual and look it up for you.

I wanted very much to have a good experience when I visited a few weeks ago, as my family has shopped at Kirkish for years, but I was disappointed by the lack of customer service. More than one sale person was standing around, not assisting customers, and no one came over to greet or ask if there was anything specific I might like to see. I was there for 20 minutes before I approached someone and asked for assistance. Then, after speaking with a sales person, I was shown a couple options, but there were no prices on the pieces. When I inquired, the saleswoman made a guess at the cost, rather than obtaining an actual price. She also took my name and phone number so she could inquired with her reps about pieces I had seen on the Kirkish website, saying she would call me when she had more information. She never called. I received much better service from two other furniture businesses in the local area and chose to make the purchase of a solid wood bedroom set from one of them. Sorry, Kirkish. You snooze, you lose. Hope you offer others better customer service than me.

Great family owned businesses, were every ones grandparents shopped. Great selection of furniture and appliances.

Awesome, locally owned. Helped me to purchase items for my elderly parents, when they couldn't afford it.

Kudos to Kirkish for supporting my college age son with his first mattress purchase! They taught him about the options for comfort and cost and got him in a UP made mattress for less than the mail order alternative!
