Director of the company is very insecure, if you are good at your job he feels very threatened. The reason for this will be , he has very little knowledge of how to manage within a very big manufacturing company. He doesn't like to be questioned, especially on why he would employ an operations Manager on a salary of only 2k higher than the managers on site. The office / reception is forever in conflict, with one manager threatening to finish on a weekly basis. The Director has got it in for one of the office ladies, and is constantly got her under pressure wanting her to leave ( she actually does a good job). The six managers on site are good guys, just needed direction as they have been left to their own devises for far too long. i wouldn't wish this company on any professional manager, but if you do take this opportunity they are offering "be guarded".
