All of the staff were friendly and professional. Our sales representative was outstanding. She was not only very nice and personable, she was extremely knowledgeable of not just the resort but of the surrounding area and history.

We were allowed to check in before 3pm. We had to visit the Parking Pass desk and we were asked to join the Timeshare presentation. We said No Thanks and we were not bothered again. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool was beautiful but you must bring your own towels. We used the towels from our room. We had the "B" unit which is very small, however it had a small stove with 4 burners, fridge and microwave. It had a small kitchen table and a love seat. The bathroom had a jetted tub and a small shower. The bedroom was a nice size. We are 2 adults and we adjusted to the small unit. I didn't really see the "A" side but it looks tremendous with an upper floor. They have basketball, tennis, mini golf and shuffleboard. The Activities Center had a few activities but nothing after 4pm. I do recommend this resort. Bring your own pool towels and just be aware there's not much to do at night.
Very nice and cute location. You feel like you are in the middle if a forest but are very close to civilization. Each cottage is equipped with amenities such as kitchen, stove, fridge etc so you can save money by shopping for small items. I loved being in this quiet and tranquil stay.
I own with them and wish I never bought. It can potentially be a very nice place and I had 2 great trips there. But I haven't used it in a decade. I went last weekend for a promotion they were running. The unit they put us in had a dishwasher that didn't work and had dirty towels in the bathroom when we checked in . Originally when I bought, I was told my maintenance fee would never go up and that if I wanted to sell my unit they would help me. Both were not true. A few years later, they came to my house and informed me they were upgrading to a points system. They said that the unit I had would be worthless if I didn't upgrade to points. I did, again most of the things they told me turned out to not be true. When I went back last weekend I was told it was a presentation of what new things are offered since they were acquired by spinnaker group. But instead I was told that what I currently owned wasn't worth much unless I upgraded again. When does it end ? I'm paying nearly $500 for maintenance on a 1 bedroom unit that I get one week every other year. And it seems like they aren't even doing maintenance on the units like they should so where is my money going ? I must say however, the staff there is great. And it's a beautiful area in a great location, minutes from the parks. I just wish the salesman had a little more integrity. I'm legally blind and feel like I was taken advantage of
The resort is great! We used the pool several times, but not much else as we were mostly in VA to go to Busch Gardens, Water Country, and too see the historical sites. Water Country is a stone's throw away, and Busch Gardens is very close as well. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is the ants! We had them all over our kitchen and bathroom the whole time we were there. We didn't notice them until we had thrown some things in the garbage, and the next morning they were all over the garbage can. We had to keep the can out on the porch. We called maintenance, and they forgot to have someone come and spray until the next day. Even after spraying we still had ants. They were crawling on our toothbrushes and stuff on the bathroom counter. Other than that it was a great stay!
We were allowed to check in an hour early. We enjoyed the mini golf and indoor pool. The washer/dryer is small, but understandable for a vacation spot. The kitchen was stocked great for all the tools we needed to cook. Beds need an upgrade.
Bottom line--the place is beautiful the sales people cannot be trusted. NEVER buy ANY package from them. In disputing something with their honor services department today the owner services person pretty much said "it doesn't matter what our salespeople tell you to get you to buy it's only what's in the contract that counts." She also went on to say "our salespeople will basically tell you anything to get the sale. DO NOT TRUST THEM--PERIOD!!!
Very nice place with spacious rooms. The swimming pools are good and kids had a great time. We had a 4 bedroom booking which was essentially one 2 bed and two 1 bed apartments all given together. Only sad part was one family was pretty much separated from the rest. One of the 2bed and one 1bed were interconnected. Wish we had more time to go around the entire property. Water country is a stone throw away. Target, Harris teeter and other stored quite nearby. Sorry I missed out taking more pics
