Very sophisticated treatment and very special service. And thanks to God and the appreciation of the CEO of the King Fahd Causeway Public Corporation, the advisor to Engineer Imad Al-Muhaisin
The place which teaches you the meaning of patience.
*. The only land connection of Bahrain with any other country, known as King Fahd Causeway, connecting Bahrain with Saudi Arabia.
*. A drive from Bahrain to Saudi takes, average 20 minutes.
*. A beautiful drive with scenic frames for both eyes and Camera
*. The speed limit is 100 Kms/Hr
*. Since, many people working in Al Dammam and Al Kobar stay in Bahrain, mornings and evenings, the tolls become busy.
*. Worth a drive, if you have VISA to Saudi Arabia!

Causeway Drive experience good. On a good sunny day you will find nice views of sea.
It is one of the largest connecting bridge between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. These two GCC Countries are differentiated by this bridge and sea around. Its a beautiful place to visit with your family, spend time with them. The small garden near the location gives the relaxation and of course you can make your special moments with this beautiful location and put them all in your social media as well.
The boarder point is unique in it's capability to handle the huge number of travelers in as short time as possible
King Fahad Causeway is the border crossing between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. While entering the causeway, you have to pay a toll of SR 25 for the car.
It s a wonderful experience to travel by road across the sea through a huge bridge. You can see the land reclamation and construction process along both the sides of the bridge. New restaurants, coffee shops, and recreations are proposed to be there as future projects.
Those who are residents of Saudi Arabia(valid iqama holders or GCC nationals) with a multiple re-entry visa can cross the border and travel to Bahrain from Saudi Arabia. Those who don t have a multiple re-entry visa can still enjoy the beauty of causeway till the border station, where the is a side way directing to causeway park. Causeway Park is a great place for picnic or weekend relaxation for bachelors as well as families
The Border Station was as one side designated for Saudi Arabia and the other side for Bahrain. You can Find Mosque for offering prayers on both sides of the border station. For refreshments, the Saudi side of the Border Station has a McDonald's and Kudu outlet. There are comfort stations in between the border station as well.

Normal days the traffic in the causeway will be light to moderate but during weekends or special holidays, be ready for hours of waiting.
Extremely painful process - A nightmare
Keep in mind that it will take you at least 3-3.5 hours in total to pass through this place. It will cover (From KSA TO BAHRAIN):
1. Saudi Customs
2. Female Passport Control
3. Male Passport Control 1
4. Male Passport Control 2
5. Bahraini Passport Control
If you are going to Bahrain on a weekend or special holidays, be ready for hours of waiting to process your entrance.
A lot of times the employees working the first booths and also the passport officers are not polite, regardless what your nationality is, but if you are a foreigner they will be worse.
If you leave early in the morning, make it there before 8:30 am you will be able to get through easily.
Once you are done with the Saudi side , and make your way to the Bahraini side , there is a bottle neck which is really bad when there is traffic crowd, and I feel it's worse as you are returning from Bahrain.
I'm not sure why they constructed it that way, in stead of leaving it a straight road connecting the isles and rows together.
Now they have different angled booth, which should have eased the traffic jam, but you still end up waiting for a long time.
Just keep in mind the long wait if you have older family members in the car with you, the long period of time sitting will affect them.
On the Bahrain side, a lot of the times the passport officers are rude, and when you greet them they don't reply back.
The customs are ok.
Traffic is always poor, and it is increasing. They always leave passport stations closed, and it takes 4+ hours during peak times.
Coolest country bridge Best for long drive and hangouts
A good bridge and road between behrain and Saudi Arabia
Wasted so much time, no car service or gas station for cars that breakdown because of the long wait and extreme temperatures.
Had awesome experience on drive through the causeway.Main line connecting saudi and bahrain. Nighttime view on sea side is getting relaxed. Biggest bridge that I ever had seen. Wish to go on early morning on my next visit.
Its a Cause Way on Sea connecting Saudi Arabia And Bahrain
A must see Road visit on the Sea
They never respond to phone calls .. every 10 calls maybe 1 call will be responded by them
Enjoyed the whole drive to Bahrain border. The small island is the connecting point of Saudi and Bahrain! Views around here is really nice.
King Fahd Causeway is a cultural and social streamline between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Thousands of vehicles with millions of passengers travels through this everyday . It is a huge contribution for connecting the regions through roads above the the water. In simple words i loved it.
The services there re very bad the staff in Saudi counters their look are dirty and they don t know how can speak with people

The crowds are often on holidays, holidays and weekends
There is track No. 2 especially for people with special needs and students
Not much to review this is the border crossing between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. So heavy security as expected for a border crossing.Going up the views are great, I didn't cross the border but at least got some really great pictures.
There is a mosque and a prayer room for women and clean ablution for men and women in the customs area.
I don't know why the machine is not giving any numbers and the people are very slow. Makes you think that the number machine is not working on purpose
To avoid the crowds, you must go to the bridge early, before 9 am, especially on holidays. Bahraini passports increased the number of lanes in a more orderly manner than the Saudi side
When will the bridge between the two brotherly countries be opened in this crisis?
God bless
Their cooperation is very very very classy
Very bad services at causeway, rude behavior of staff, lazzy spending more time in chatting and eating rather than serving people, and no proper wearing of mask and following health precautions during this pandemic. If there was rating of zero I would have choose that instead of 1 star..
It facilitates the movement of passengers by providing services to operating departments and beneficiaries
It is supposed to be in the development of computers what is reasonable crowding over the years and do not find a solution ... If the delay of customs be Maalihm blame, but the Bahraini and Saudi walnuts
I cannot explain this place, very long bridge connect two countries Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, it's so amazing place.
A beautiful bridge connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
They must reserve a separate line for Bahrain, kuwait, emirati nationals...Even though its a gate to Bahrain, bahrainis has to wait 2 hours to get into home and bam traffic inside Bahrain by foreigners cars...
We can't live like this forever
