Hotel residence Altura, via del mare s.n. – 09049 Villasimius (CA) Review

Hotel in a convenient location, two minutes walk from the center. Very small room (it was the last one available) with a not so comfortable bed, a non-working fridge, a blind with a faulty door and taken by the bed inexistent. We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend, but the stadium screams coming from the hotel restaurant lasted until 2 am, not allowing us to sleep. Two stars only for the position and kindness of the owner who, apologizing for the room he had reserved for us, decided to offer us breakfast.

Cozy and country atmosphere, young staff although not impeccable. Our room was rather small but clean, however not very bright, with different stairs to do. The restaurant deserves a commendation for the chef, of very high caliber for variety, combinations, raw material and quantity: it deserves to go even if in passing.

The description of the dinner would be: "the water was good", the San Giorgio water sources are always a guarantee. Unfortunately poor food, like the service. The environment is falsely elegant. We ordered an appetizer, (octopus with potato cream) two starters and two bottles of water. The fregola arrived cold and the spaghetti with clams were overcooked. The bill was 55 . We will definitely not return.

My experience was "a nightmare" ... Let me explain, before leaving I checked if there was room in the mini-bar (take life-saving medicines which have to keep cool) .. the refrigerator was and booked.
Arriving at the hotel we saw that the fridge was attached a sheet with this message: it is forbidden to put in the fridge, drink or do not buy at the Hotel for reasons of HCCP (never mind the comments ...). Before going to the beach I left the medicines (only the medicines) in the fridge (which worked) (they weren't food or drink and I certainly couldn't buy them from them) and when I returned, not only was the fridge turned off but inside 'It was a very high temperature ... useless medicinal conclusion. Considering that not everyone can buy them at the pharmacy (some provide them to me from the hospital) I had to run to Cagliari, losing all evening and the next day I had to leave early in the morning because I had to go back to the hospital to pick up other medicines ... .. the managers were completely iNDIFFERENT, rude and did not apologize for having risked my life and ruining what was supposed to be a weekend of relaxation. I can also add that the Hotel is dirty, the maintenance leaves much to be desired (it was not even possible to use the WC because the board was completely broken and there was the risk of slipping) and they do not even give you a packet of bubble bath ...

Hotel very close to the center, you can get there in about 10 minutes on foot, for the beach a few more minutes.
The owner is very courteous like all the staff, I only stayed overnight so I don't know how to eat, I think a small 7.50 per person for breakfast is excessive but overall very good hotel.

Halfway between the city center and the sea. Very comfortable, quiet. It is easy to find parking nearby.

We rented an apartment. The staff is very kind and helpful, we found ourselves very well. The house is not very big but it has a bit of everything, maybe the only flaw is the small bathroom which does not allow to have a shelf on which to place the necessary (for example clothes). But all in all for a holiday home it can be fine too.

You get what you pay for it was a decent hotel for the Money we paid. Overall I was comfortable enough to sleep here. It was a little noisy outside but where we stayed was fairly lively. I never ate here as it seemed to be quite expensive and I'd rather not be at the hotel anymore than I have to as there is a choice of places in Villasimius. The location is actually really good, it's not right in the town centre and it's closer to the beach than a lot of hotels. There are tours and shuttles picking up from here. I would recommend this place if you were on a budget.

Rude and opinionated reception staff, every paying customer has the right to be greeted with courtesy, a book is not judged by the cover, nice room but nothing that justifies such a high price and such a poor breakfast Even if served by a very kind waitress, only positive note ....

Excellent location, practically in the town center and not too far from the beach (10 min walk). Spacious but slightly dated rooms; the water in the shower was intermittently hot / cold. Very bad breakfast buffet and quite low quality food for dinner. Council to do only overnight, so in the village there are local to eat better.

Very bad quality / price ratio. Ancient, dirty and early morning music coming from the courtyard. The only positive note is the position but better to take a few more steps than to lodge.

Strategic position both for the town and for the beaches. Discreet but warm staff. I felt at home!

Not recommended to all tourists, terrible incompetent staff never again, Saturday evening closed pizzeria with little choice in the bad menu

Tried restaurant, first dishes of fish. The fish was not that fresh and absolutely over expensive. I dont suggest it.

Excellent welcome and courtesy, comfortable and panoramic room, refined style

I had booked a double for months before trusting in a decent assignment and instead I found myself assigned a room on the ground floor with a balcony that practically overlooks the sidewalk. Not having chosen I was forced to take a "superior" by paying the price difference. Surprise, hot water comes and goes, the shower box loses water, furniture just enough, in short, services to a minimum.
The staff is very courteous and helpful.

Magnificent location. The service leaves something to be desired. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty (with the exception of 5 or 6 paying people excluding me and my company), the order arrived with several minutes of delay (about 30 for a couple of pizzas).

The hotel is perfectly located at the end of the walkable area (zona pedonale) and surrounded by breakfast caffetterie.
Management has been gentle and available at any time.
I would definitely return, if looking for a 3 stars category hotel.

We didn't like it. Old and not very clean. Single point in favor of the position. With the windows open nn you sleep from the casino. Breakfast not included ... boh.

Nothing special, the bed a little uncomfortable and the room was not very clean. Unfortunately the room had a problem with the air conditioning that could not be solved. The porter was very kind and tried in every way.

The restaurant is a bit expensive ...

Nice hotel, in a fine spot between the center of the city and the beaches. They are really respectful of the rules and expect you to be too. Great staff . I'd defimitely suggest others to come.

Eternal waiting, service in the restaurant, 3 times the wine requested and the order wrong. Food saves what can be saved. To forget

Dated hotel, very formal reception, the room reserved for me was not ready, they assigned me another room, I don't know if it was better or worse than the other, very spartan (different from the images published on trivago) and cold I turned on myself heating. With no phone or WiFi in the room, in the company of 2 moths that kept fluttering over my head. The only advantage quiet area, but the high price for the service.

Excellent position. The friendliness, professionalism of the employees and owner, give an added value. Super clean rooms, linen change practically every day. A few steps from the sea and the center. I also recommend the restaurant.
