We loved it! We are Luna Bread and we bake sourdough with their flour!
A great retail side for baking supplies and a great cafe bakery for a tasty treat.
A great factory-type stop that offers delicious food and coffees, as well as classes on using King Arthur's world-class flours in myriad recipes. The bakery-cafe is an awesome spot for a quick lunch.
Great food, but the Wi-Fi is mediocre, and the at&t cell coverage is worse. You can't really work here. Though they don't want you to either, the stools and chairs are only good for an hour at most.
The mother ship for king Arthur Flour. Wonderful, friendly, awesome. !
Treats, coffee and how to cook just about everything at their flagship store
This place is so great. It can be a total madhouse on the weekends, but totally worth the seating free for all if you ask me. The food is delicious, the baked goods always so fresh, and a very cool store to visit while you're waiting for your food!
Bakery has very good fresh bread (oatmeal was really good)
Great food with good selection. Reasonably priced given that it's located alongside an interstate.
Good food! Stopped as I was doing a cycling trip and was the best lunch I could have wished for.
On a Sunday it gets quite busy - but what good place doesn t.
Great classes, beautiful surroundings, great
people..love it here...
Don't miss the bakery, storefront and baking classes. Great food at the bakery. We had egg sandwich, porridge, hazelnut mouse, almond snowcloud and coffee. Everything was yummy. Great selections at the storefront. Unfortunately missed the window to join classes. The place smells divine. Had a little bit of information here and there on the walls. Fans of this brand should come here. Would be more fun if there was a tour style arrangement even if it were self guided.
Delicious! BLT on fresh farmhouse bread with basil mayo - wow! Just wow! Herbed Tomato soup was nice. Roll served with soup was chewy heaven. Highly recommend - worth the drive for lunch and fun shopping.
I love the food at King Arthur. Their sandwiches are amazing with bread that's made that day, the pastries are incredible, and their Chai Lattes are my favorite. It can be a little pricey and a little crowded if you go right at lunch time, but its worth the price and the wait because the food is so good. They also have baking classes and an entire bakery store at this location.
Love the products you can buy. Had to hold back because I don t have much room. But their food is what brought it down. Not sure if it is because of Covid but the on,y sandwich left was a veggie. I took it. All it was assorted veggie thrown on the bread and then it sat all morning. What a soggy mess! No special sauce? Something to add some pizzazz? Some balsamic vinaigrette? Something to make it not so blah! Got a cookie. Ok bakers! Add a bit more flour! It was nothing but a flat mess! I had heard such high praise but this was not it.
Such a nice place, was helped by a lovely lady to find what I was looking for.
Will definitely be back.
An amazing experience visiting the factory. Cafe offers some great sandwich, brakefast and baked goods. Gift shop is outstanding. Every imaginable baking item was available for the purchase. Some great baking cook books selection in the store. Lot of classes to learn baking skills. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend place to visit.
Great place to visit especially if you are a baker. They have so many high end baking products and pans. They also sell their boxed mixes, have cooking demos in-store and offer baking classes. There is even a cafe in the store if you want to stay for lunch. We really enjoyed our visit here.
Love this place! Superb baking classes.....especially the sourdough. Delicious cafe and great shop!
Really cool place but some of the items are definitely over priced. You need to know what you want when you go in.
Friendly staff, great selection of everything needed for baking
So wonderful to order online & drive to Nireich . In one door out the other.
Orders are on tables in alphabetical order!
Just a bakery Wonderland.
Just took a pizza making course there and it exceeded all my expectations.
A delightful experience. I learned a lot!
Fresh bread, crisp salad, delicious soup and friendly staff. My meals have always been lovely at KAF.
Great food and fun little place to hang out. They have an extensive bakery store and also baking classes.
Yum!! Really enjoyed our visit. With COVID precautions, the wait was about 20 minutes to order on a Saturday, 10 minutes for the order to be ready, and 40 minutes to get into the attached shop. They give you a little buzzer that lets you know when it's your turn to enter the shop so you can head out to the picnic tables and eat while you wait. Plenty of space for the kids to run around.
Prices were very reasonable, especially considering this is a tourist attraction.
Only downside was that they weren't heating the food up (pizza for instance) which may have been one of those COVID precautions that is related to limited staff. At room temperature, still delicious.
The quality of the bread has gone downhill. The baguette doesn t taste like a baguette anymore, but more like a skinny sourdough loaf. And the texture isn t right. You can get a better baguette at a grocery store bakery.
The Vermont Country loaf is, quite honestly, horrible. It has a sour flavor and a Wonderbread-lie texture. If you make a grilled cheese sandwich with it you will end up with something about a quarter-inch thick. Avoid it like the plague.
Our favorite place to visit in Vermont! Great food and cozy environment!
I was so looking forward to this trip but who takes an hour to make sandwiches. They are very unorganized and cannot handle a busy day. It is leaf peeping season and you are in Vermont I suggest more staff more baked items and someone to monitor the bathrooms which were a mess. The food was good but it is not very handicap friendly and there is not enough indoor seating.
The markup on kitchen gadgets and tools is fairly high, but its a good place to get some of their harder to find flours. Lots of gluten free flours and box mixes.
Love the cafe. Tasty and good atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor dining area.
A great place to shop for all kinds of mixes. And cooking tools
I used to buy items from this place with no complaints but, I been buying chocolate, extracts and cake pans and they been a big disappointment. The cake pans keep sticking an burning everything I bake in them, the white chocolate I bought from them is crumbled and the extract I bought from them tast flavorless lately. I called to make a complaint and The both women said I would have to send a picture to prove something is wrong with the cake pans and I was told if I didn`t like their products to go somewhere else and buy them, I was very upset because I was a loyal customer for many years and spent thounds of dollars to this company. I think the customer service agents are very disrespectful for telling me that. Don`t waste your money here go find another place to buy flour like the customer sale agent said!
I've been coming to the Cafe since they opened, and was a fan of the store even back when it was in a tiny building before this beautiful new complex was built. This is a MUST VISIT for any baker, and the Cafe has more than enough to More
A beautiful space to meet & eat or just relax & enjoy the scenery. Tours & educational offerings available, as well as baked goods galore. Stop by the cafe for handmade goodies & hearty items for those cool autumn days. Breakfast is hard to beat!
Love King Arthur . I try to stop any time I go north
Good historical bakery with excellent product selection (unfortunately being Sunday afternoon, they were out of pretty much everything) but great breads, sandwiches and pastries. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen.
Enjoyed looking at all the baking items and foods of which we had to buy . Also had a sandwich and croissant for lunch in the courtyard. Both were good, although the croissants in Europe are a little better.
Great experience and a fun afternoon. Loved learning a new skill and tasting or creations.
I love the great and me unique selection of baking tools and ingredients. The restaurant and bakery is fantastic. But, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't have my BLT on sourdough bread though they had fresh sourdough loaves for sell.
As an aspiring baker, this was entirely like visiting the candy store as a kid. The cafe offers delightful croissants and coffee, but the real draw is the shop. Never have I ever seen so many specialty flours and tools! I gotta hand it to KAF, their branded merch is on point and made me want to fangirl them hardcore.
Great food and cool gift shop. Wish there was a wider selection of sandwiches though. We hope to come back for a class someday. Also got a chance to charge my car!
Fabulous food and some of the most knowledgeable and helpful bakers in the world, in a gorgeous Vermont setting.
A magical wonderland of baked goods, high-quality ingredients, and tools to make baking easier.
King Arthur Flour is an excellent place to grab a coffee, lunch or dessert or all of them! The prices are reasonable. Get it to go or dine in and use the free reliable WiFi. The staff is wonderful. They know just how I like my mocha latte and they never question my oddities. They always have a smile on their faces and it's really great that they take the time to remember a name. Great atmosphere and they even have a shop in the same building as the bakery. Ample parking. Outside dining. Highly recommend KAF. Enjoy!
Never a bad experience here. They have such wonderful staff that are all very friendly and helpful. It's so much fun to watch their bakers in the kitchen and then enjoy the treats created by them. The store is well stocked with any mix, flavoring or sheet/pan you may ever want or need including gluten free and Paleo options. Breakfast is served from opening until 11 and then lunch 11-5 and I don't believe there's a bad choice on the menu. All of their food and soups are delicious. Plenty of parking and they even have an easy nature trail if you'd like to get out and stretch a bit. Indoor and outdoor seating is available with lots of grass surrounding it so you can also enjoy lunch on the lawn if you'd like.
Because this was on my wife's bucket list. This place made her happy. If you make the wife happy, you make me happy. Yeah, I'd go back...good cafe - fresh stuff.
Love this place. I had one of the best lobster salads I've ever had in my life. They make other extremely tasty dishes as well as some incredible bread. Be sure to check out their shop as well!
Amazing breakfast and lunch options with very friendly and patient staff!
Excellent quality baking supplies. Friendly, knowledgeable staff
Today was a visit for a baking class. KAF does a "Family Dinner Night" most Fridays where a family (or group of 4) comes in and does a 2.5 hour baking centric cooking class. Tonight we did fresh pasta and a "sauce" along with cookies (they also provide a salad) which you then take home. The class is well done if fast paced and of course you go home with food, an education and afun experience. 5 STARS!
Friendly and quick staff, delicious peach and almond pastry and a current scone. Latte and cappuccino are what they should be. Beautiful location inside and out!
This place is amazing! Yummy food, cooking classes, a great bake shop...what more could you ask for?
Breakfast was great, price was reasonable, the gift shop is awesome, and they have baking classes there.
Cozy atmosphere and meeting spot. They're food was sub par. Had the brisket sandwich and it tasted burnt as if it had been left in the pot way too long.
Excellent coffee and pastries plus a store where you can find all the baking things you never knew you needed.
Great place to grab coffee, dessert, or lunch! Fantastic pastries and coffee. The bakery has a lot of seating and the staff are so friendly.
Great selection, fun day trip. The weather wasn't great which looked like we had the place to ourselves. I Ann. Very patient!
OMG best chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten. Brownie was not good. Gave me crazy heartburn. Parking was horrible. It was like looking for a parking spot at the mall before Christmas. Even though there cookies were awesome and the place is unbelievably clean the prices are totally outrageous. It was just a fun day with my kid so I didn't mind spending the cash but I wouldn't do it again.
King Arthur Flour is a pretty fun stop for coffee and a bite. The seating area is hard to come by. Delicious lunch!
We had a nice relaxing breakfast. Staff was very friendly.
The retail store has some great baking supplies and tools. You can get additional types of flour that are not readily available at your local grocery. In the pre-covid days the cafe serves some great sandwiches, pastries, and other baked goods.
I attended a 4 hour baking class there- about making Ciabatti- and the class was excellent, and covered everything beginning bakers need to know. The instructor was clear and concise, that class room, facilities, ovens and equipment were clean, modern and lovely. Each of the ~15 students had our own mixer and a workspace at a baking table. The recipes were simple and well explained, and we took home four loaves that we baked in the class. Nice !
