Disappointing. Sent the wrong fitting kit after we discussed it and then they conveniently pretended the conversation never happened. Management didn't care either nor did they respond, so very poor customer service too. This cost us in the plumber call out fees because he couldn't fit it. They sent a new fitting kit out but had to be chased. We'll leave another review on the actual Kinetic kit when it's been in place a while.
As a plumber needing some technical help, I called in to their office and I found them to be extremely helpful. A nice gentleman got a sample water softener and opened it to show me the workings. Top class.
Hard sales techniques when they came to fix our water softener - all the usual - how terrible our machine is, how their machine is much better, if we sign today for a new machine we will get a discount (ridiculously expensive even with the discount). Wish I had never called them out. Avoid.
Rubbish customer service! Have tried to book a service for my water softener, have called twice and both times told someone would return my call. Still no call received.
Kinetico have provided my family with soft water since 1997 . What a great company . In the New Haw area in Surrey there is tremendous hard water . With Kinetico block water softeners household kitchen and bathroom cleaning has been easy with no limescale build up on surfaces.My first Kinetico machine lasted 22 years . Appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers have lasted longer with no scaling of the pipes . Moreover the lathering of soap while washing and the soft water on the skin always felt amazing .
Last year I happily renewed my Kinetico machine with a modern same brand machine .
I have recently had my Kinetico one year old machine serviced under Warranty .This was carried out by a very competent engineer called Mikey and he even improved my kitchen pipework for the water softener . Well done Kinetico . Over the last 23 years Kinetico have provided a great water softening service to my household . As well as the washing service household appliances lasted longer with no lime scale build up .Thank you .
I started looking at water softeners years ago and knew that hard water was an issue in my area. I had to replace my boiler and the engineer had advised that it was down to limescale that it had broken in the first place, so I looked again, but found a number of different units and was unsure of which to purchase, so I didn't. Then our dishwasher and washing machine died within 3 months of each other and again limescale was to blame. I knew it was finally time to purchase! My dealings with the Kinetico dealer have been good, he explained exactly what I needed and where it would fit within our house, he was very knowledgeable. Since it has been fitted I have noticed a huge difference, I wish I had it fitted years ago!
Have had many years of excellent service from our Kinetico water softeners at home and our static caravan. Constant beautiful soft water keeping us free from limescale. Would thoroughly recommend.
Called to inquire about whats in the box and place order, the sales person didn't know then got angry, put the phone down on me. Called back got through to the director to complain, another bad attitude all over again - its clear where it all comes from. Used to be a nice company to deal with. Bad attitude looses business and rightly so!!!
Had system installed a couple of years ago. Probably one of the best things we've ever had done.
We have glass shower screens which took ages to clean every week, now just a quick wipe over brings them back to life. Our kettle which was constantly filling with chalk is now completely clean and no need for expensive de-scalers.
We now use less detergent and shower gel and because we no longer need to heat the chalk in the system our electric bill seems to be lower.
The installer was brilliant, clean and tidy and put pipes exactly where we wanted.
Would definitely recommend. Should have had it done years ago.
Poor sales department. Did not get back with the quote (even after reminding them to send one). Possibly not interested in the sale. The engineer proposed a few complicated installation process, however, in contrast Harvey engineer came out and installed the system in couple of hours. I shouldn't have even bothered to call Kinetico.
Fantastic service from the young lady at Kinetico polite, friendly and always a pleasure to deal with.
They installed the water softener without fitting enough water outlets to feed all of my appliances and on asking them to fix it insisted it was not their problem.
Would genuinely suggest not using them. A big and rather expensive mistake on my part.
Given their cost, certainly not worth the effort.
If you re desperate for one, order a new softener machine and have it installed separately; not via them.

appliances are still getting scale, have to pay call out for the engineer to come out but he couldn't identify the problem so guessed it and told us to replace the storage tank valve. Still getting scale everywhere! But would be charged for another call out...!
If I had known this is how their so called 10 YEAR GUARANTEE works, would have gone with a different manufacturer!
Don't waste your money on this overly priced product, not worth it!
Called this company up on Thursday, 28/04. They agreed to call us at 10 am the next day, Friday, which came and went...BUT NO CALL. It's a bit misleading when people post 5 star reviews on a company which cannot even get past returning a customers call. Either they don't want the business or the reviews are fake or staff just don't care. Whatever the reason, they won't be fitting softeners in my house!!
I have enjoyed a limescale free kitchen and bathroom for a year now. You use less detergents to wash and clean, and the soft water seems kinder to hands, body and hair. Can t believe I didn t buy one earlier. The Kinetico Premier Water softener is a great appliance, would highly recommend it!
This product has been brought less than 18 months. Issue started more than 6 months where we doubted that the water softener was not working but only realised after using the testing kit that it isn't. It's expensive to get an engineer to visit you, let alone fix the issue. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this product.
My initial review was bad, however, John Kyle from Kinetico took charge in resolving the issues. He ensured that not only the unit works but its output is as expected. He personally travelled long distance twice to resolve the matter. Many thanks to John, much appreciated.
We used Kinetico's agent Wight Water Services (wightsofteners) to provide our Premier Compact. The visit to quote was very professional - no rush, no pushing and no jargon nonsense. Were very impressed so ordered the Premier Compact. Martin is an incredibly neat worker and although our installation was a bit trickier than some there were no moans. Very happy with the service we have received and have every faith in being long term customers. The machine itself is all but silent until it regenerates and then there is only the sound of the tank emptying down the drain. What we liked about the model is the ease of use. Just add salt and that's it. No timers etc. Would very much recommend the softener and the agent.
I regularly buy salt blocks from Kinetico for my water softener, and always receive prompt service. The blocks come in sealed bags, and are competitively priced.
