Had a great time touring the farm and learning about the animals they've rescued. Highlights include: petting a chicken, meeting the pigs names for The Office characters, and petting goats.

Amazing sanctuary. They really care about their rescued animals. Awesome free tours but be sure to donate so they can continue to save more animals!
Came here for the vegan potluck and tour and this place is amazing. The people who own it are extremely passionate about these animals. You can see how happy these animals are from their friendly faces and eagerness to have human interaction. The tour was perfect giving the history of the more active and human friendly animals. I intend to come back to events often and see how they expand.
I think the tour guy said it best- "The animals speak for themselves!"
Last Thanksgiving was our best ever. Usually Thanksgiving has a sad element because of the cruelty to the turkeys and other beings, Last year we shared the day with living animals and other kindred spirits that were understanding of the cruelty and we sharing the day with many, many like-minded people.
Our hearts and spirits soured; can't wait to go again this year, especially when gentleness and compassion are so needed.
Peace to all who live,
Sofie and Joe Buyniski
Kindred Spirits has a true and pure vision for animal rescue. They take amazing care of these animals and offer lots of education while you take a tour. Their staff is approachable, kind and helpful. We not only visit twice a year- we donate to help support their mission.
Kindred Spirits offers engaging and informative tours that help you see the soul of their non-human residents. Tour guides are themselves involved in day to day opperations and sincerely care for these animals. They are ready to answer every question you have, and take time doing so. You'll meet cows, chickens, turkeys, goats, and more. The property itself is beautiful, and the animals live in excellent condition. There's also a gift shop with great shirts with original, creative designs. Proceeds go to the sanctuary. There's no cost for the tour, which makes it even easier to spend money in the gift shop to support their efforts. They'll also recommend a nearby dinner, Ocala's Downtown Diner, which offers an outstanding assortment of delicious vegan diner options.
What a beautiful an peaceful place. Animals are secure and well taken care of, everything is super clean, and the staff is super friendly.
I volunteered to help out on the sanctuary and made beautiful connections with all the animals. The folks were really friendly and made me feel welcomed. I learned about each animal's story and about the sanctuary's mission to make sure that they take in the animals that need a home. I was very IMPRESSED by how CLEAN the area was! Fresh green grass! :D
Worth the visit and tour. Animals are placed first and catered to in many ways for their well-being (medically, socially). Tour guides were amazing individuals that demonstrated compassion to the animals.
