Kindred Construction will cause damage to your unit (while under warrantee) and never respond again. Save yourself the eventual lawsuit and just hire someone else.
We just completed our 3rd renovation with Kindred doing around 15,000 square feet of showroom, offices and service rooms, as well as warehouse area. This was the smallest of our past 3 projects, but each renovation ended on time and under budget. They are our go-to company for any of our construction or renovation needs. We have had great success working with them over the past 8 years.

in North Vancouver. My husband and I are real estate investors. Over thirty years of buying and selling residential and commercial properties we have not seen such a poor quality building. The brand new building walls are cracking. The building started to shift already. Drywalls and paint are in such a poor quality. DO NOT BUY ANY PROJECT BY THIS BUILDER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Kindred Construction is great! Quality homes. Superb craftsmanship. Modern building designs. Customer service that cares. Responsive after-purchase follow-ups. What more can I ask for!
Cheapo construction, no responsibility taken for "brand new" buildings that fall apart as soon as they get your money.. Amateurish all the way with their Midtown and Vya buildings, and SUPER LATE to boot on construction by like, years!!
This company is a total joke, starting from the superintendents that does not how to manage properly a site, the Foreman's that they have are totally useless and not professional , this company " hires" a totally unknown deficencies company and creates hidden charges in order to delay the job of the other trades and to charge more money since they so not have money to pay for the construction. We had an experience with a couple of joke guys that besides of be drinking in the office , they were just focused on making back charges to the companies . They have lack ok knowledge in their field , besides their work ethic sucks, don't work or bid with them . STAY BACK OF THIS CLOWNS.
We have worked for Kindred as a subtrade throughout the last 10 years as one of our preferred General Contractors. They are a progressive company taking pride in treating all parties involved in each construction project fairly. We have truly enjoyed working with them.
Shoddy construction all the way.. Horrible. Prepare to have non stop issues in your building if you buy something they constructed. Worst and cheapest quality craftmanship in town. And they know it. They will magically disappear into thin air once they are paid and you will be left with constant repairs, malfunctions etc. Plus they are SLOWWWWWW as molasses at completing even a simple structure. Avoid
The team Has Poor communication. Bid low and will find many mysterious scope gaps and excuses to charge you extra. Inexperienced, old crew that built the kindred name all retired.
Honestly I've been trying to get my hard earned money back from this guys more times that I'd like to admit. Lack of experience, and I'm sure lack of a professional title too from superintendents and alcohol and drug abuse from the foreman staff is the cause why the other trades are not being taken into place properly and I am sure that lack of financial management lead them to steal and from employers payroll and they also take money from side business to compensate their overall poorly organized business.
Internal reports are from shady precedents and I am 100% sure they have an internal account who "fix* it for them. That's why it's ridiculous they haven't got anyone from CA Government to perform an internal review of expenses and tax reporting. This has been a long time issue. If you see anyone there. Do the good deed of the day and invite them to run.
