Chill line-up in the Dairy section, many handsome women, good wine, cashless payment and original location. Overkant Blokker also recommended only a piece of older audience
On the way from course to home I bought groceries at this large branch of AH.
Many things that are no longer in the assortment of my regularly visited branch, are apparently still for sale here.
Delicious! On the other hand, certain products are not being sold again. Great and tidy branch.
This appie has croissants and chocolate rolls in the evening and everything, but not in the morning
A regular European writer. Reasonable prices and nice staff
Very large means more space to run errands without stress
One of my favorite AH-s. Large, relatively well stocked and clean!
In addition to the cream cave and has many good tastes
Supermarket is fine, but the lay-out is better at the cornelis troostplein.
I love his point of sale really cheap to eat on the run
The only retail chain in Amsterdam that does not accept Mastercard. And the Bonuscard scan errors are always in Albert Heijn's favor. The identical products cost 50 cents less at Dirk. When I left the store without buying anything, security went after me and looked in my bag after I had been out on the street for 5 minutes. Of course false alarm. And received no excuse. I don't buy here anymore.
Of all supermarkets around this is the one where at least of the products of your shopping list is sold out. Long queus at the check out. It is our crisis Albert Heijn.
Never enough cashiers, regularly out of stock of just about anything.
Well stocked and had a good selection. The only downside was as a tourist you don't really understand the Dutch written on the labels.
Today I went to AH in De Pijp for the first time. I have to say; what a relief. Overwhelming assortment of vegetables and fruit including trendy avocados, spicy ginger stems and sweet organic pumpkin (recommended !!). Hip is an understatement in this establishment, where seeing and being seen at the biological department can certainly not remain unmentioned. All in all, a pleasant big grocer for daily groceries with attention to the contemporary needs of a trendy Amsterdammer.
This Store is an Oasis of great prices for the freshest produce and groceries in the middle of an overpriced area of Amsterdam. The displays are very neat and the place is clean and inviting.
Its one of the biggest Albert Heijns in the area. The entrance on both sides looks a big shady, however the super market itself is quite clean and well stocked. They have a wider variety than most Albert Heijns in Amsterdam. Be prepared to wait in line for check out since most of the times only two checkout lanes are open.
If you are specially interested in cheese and frozen food then they have a very good variety. Same goes for beer, Ice creams and chips.
Not bad, choice is good, but they don't accept Visa and MasterCard :( So keep it in mind.
Good supermarket in the centre of the city. Good choice available, long opening times too
They accept only Maestros. I find this unacceptable for such a big super market
Best prices in Amsterdam for food. You will need to pay with cash unless you have a vpay or maestro card. They have has an atm every time I went to one though.
The day they settle in Paris.it is the success assured you will find all that is food at unbeatable prices all lidl
My mom was treated very rude there at the till. No respect for the elderly. Certainly bring in too little.
Very nice local supermarket that you will probably need cash for as they do not accept Visa or Mastercard. Very clean and modern.
Fine large AH, where almost everything is for sale.
It is possible to find Turkish products at affordable market
Nice employees and lots of choice of products and always present
It is AH. Not too much to say. Putting star down for not having fresh juice machine :/
Like every Ah, super with that self-service cash register unfortunately everything is packed in plastic
The imported beer selection has improved dramatically in the last year. Everything else is usually clean and fresh. It's a bigger space than most within Amsterdam.
Of the best supermarkets in the Netherlands, they have everything you need and are very well cared for inside. They have good prices and excellent service
A supermarket offering a wide selection of breads, cheeses and cold meats. Convenient for late hours and location. Provide a cash payment for tourists who do not have a local credit card.
Small branch bad parking also paid
if you live or work in the area and want something quick, excellent
This Albert Heijn is bigger then the one by me, it has all the things you need and also the variety is larger. Plus it is not the only store there.
What an unfriendly and grumpy cashier employee. I did not look at me for a moment and when I indicated that I wanted purchase stamps, she kept looking around a bit and did not respond and no words came out of her mouth. It seemed as if she didn't feel like working at all; Then don't go to work.
Don't like to come back.
Great appie, and wide assortment Net staff, they really have a lot here Highly recommended
a great local supermarket. it has everything you need and far beyond
Of the local AH stores this is the best. Well stocked, never too busy and nicely located for the market or walking home from the centre of the city.
Buying some things for the journey back to London. Had to move to self service as they didnt accept cash and the woman at the cash desk took the money as I was counting it out (less than 10 seconds-I didn't have enough cash for everything so had to return something) said I'd paid her less than I had and then got very confused about the balance owed whereas if she had just waited a couple more seconds (No queue behind mr) we wouldn't have got confused, And I wouldn't have been short changed. Rude. Shame, as I've had only positive experiences otherwise on this trip.
I have been coming here for years, never had any real complaints.
Clean, all the food and snacks you could want only thing is staff could be a bit friendlier.
Good range and handy if you want to buy something in the city
