Last year in november i stay here for five days in the intensive care unit. They save my life after an acute lungs and cerebral edema by climbing the kilimadjaro. Now, i will come back in four weeks to visit the people who helps me by this critical situation. Only i want to say THANKYOU

Thanks to Drs Makupa & Maro for inviting me to visit KCMC, Moshe, Tanzania. The skills of the surgeons, diagnostic and surgical equipment, rural outreach programme and the quality of eye care provided to the region were impressive. I hope the cataract surgery instruments donated by Optegra are helpful.

Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre is located in the foothills of the snow capped, Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. It was opened in March 1971 by the Good Samaritan Foundation, who planned and raised large funds to build and equip it. KCMC is a referral hospital for over 15 million people in Northern Tanzania. The hospital is a huge complex with 500-800 inpatients in 630 official beds, 90 canvas, 40 baby Incubators, 1852 students, 1300 staff and 1000 visitors and companions daily.

I tried to book an appointment with the Dermatologist and was asked for $115 over the counter in the Dermatology Department. I was livid that someone would try to take a bribe from me in a hospital of all places. If you're a Mzungu, don't even bother going here. Instead, go to Jaffari Clinic, turn left off Double Road after the Hindu Temple, Jaffari Clinic is directly at the end of that road. There is less cuing, opening a file is cheaper and they were up front about the costs from the start with no one trying to earn some money on the side.

It is one of the best hospitals in the country. It also has transportation services, medical university next to it, and university hostels. The hospital is mostly crowded so the services depending on the time and day may be somewhat slow.

This is a reputable hospital in our region and country at large. My son Issac was admitted at eye department and was excellently attended. Thanks Dr Sarah Kweka and others who were always there when needed. May God bless this hospital.

It used to be great and having awsome services but now the level of the service provided has reduced this days people even recommend kili hospital for treatment how bad be careful

My father used to attend Kidney clinic at this hospital, for 6 months he is away
from Moshi but cant forget Dr Akrab and Dr Kajiru his drs at KCMC. he says KCMC doctors are kind and respectful.
