They have helped my child so much but their communication Stinks. Hard to get a phone answered and lack of sharing parental concerns being respected But all said they have better service than other placement centers
They are great people and cares about helping your kids. My grandson was there. And they sure did help Jeremy. All I can say is Thank you all at Kids TLC.
So many nice and caring people here. Excellent place if your child is having some issues. They work 1 on 1 and also in groups.
KidsTLC did more for my child than 7 years of other facilities and mental heath services. We saw positive changes in his behavior with the psychotherapy program they use. Their approach seems unconventional and a little strange at first, but I'm telling you -- it works! They use a model called dyadic developmental psychotherapy (you can YouTube search Dr Dan Hughes) and it is pretty amazing. The therapists are playful and energetic. I couldn't even begin to put into words my respect for Mary and what she has done for us. If you have a kid who has been struggling, in and out of acute stays or PRTFs, feeling like there is no hope -- Kids TLC will restore it. It's helped with attachment and autism issues, aggression, and the need for self awareness.

When I was there at first I was scared, but then kids came up to me and introduced themselfes and after a week I was friends with most of them which that gave me extra support. I want to thank all of the staff for everything they did for me I really appreciate it. I learned that not everything in life is going to go the way you want it to it was hard to understand but after a while it went really good. I really recommend this place for any kid that really needs the help they need, if your thinking about taking them to anywhere else for example kvc hays dont cause this.place is a lot more helpful then any other place.
My son was at this facility for almost four months. The therapists refused to listen to ANYTHING that I his father had to say about what was going on with my child. They solely took the word of the mother with a proven track record of lying, alienation and manipulation of our son. When presented with hundreds of pages worth of documentation they refused to even read it. As soon as the insurance company said they were done paying for their services Kids TLC couldn't get my son out of the door quick enough! Less than a week out of their facility and things are right back to where they were before. Beware taking your child here.

It may be a psychiatric residential treatment facility but it's about connection before correction. It's about loving the kids and helping them grow before you discipline them.
Was looking for a summer camp program for autistic daughter. This is suppose to be an autism centre. Was told the program is only for high functioning kids who communicate at their grade level??? What's the point of this centre exactly.... So disappointed. This was where everyone referred us.
At first I was not impressed. BUT my son has made leaps and boundshere helping him get better. Thank u Gary and the rest of the team for helping my child
Very helpful therapy (DDP), amazing therapists and staff.
They do a good job supporting the children of our community.
They are overcrowded and accept Medicaid patients before private insurance patients making it impossible for me to get my small child in. They said I'd have to apply for welfare to be put on a list. We've been on a list for over a year through ku, we're now at the point of relocating back to where we're originally from in order to get her the help she needs. They won't help you if it doesn't fit their bottom line..

I highly reccomend kids TLC! Great Staff who truly cares! Kids TLC has an all around wonderful program and environment.
What ever you do don't get sick at all.
They don't have any understanding at all even if you have a doctors note just like they ask for. They say they care but they don't. Also they don't clean at all after the kids or employees if they get sick.
Not a bad place nice and clean on the outside looks good.
The last 2 months my son has been there has been great! The staff keeps me up-to-date with the good and bad. My child's therapist is WONDERFUL. I feel comfortable with placing my child there and even feel it is doing him well. As far as fidget spinners they. Do allow them to have them there during therapy sessions I am grateful I was able to get my son in to KIDS TLC!

We had a lot of hope this would make a difference. We felt we just got a bunch of therapy mumbo -jumbo talk then our child was discharged before being ready. We are now hanging on alone with a more broken family. Made our child more angry and left us absolutely hopeless with the system.
They stand for children who need someone to stand for them
The KidsTLC Autism Clinic has worked miracles with two of my children. Their staff is friendly, excellent and well trained. They work with my insurers to keep the services coming. The BCBAs meet with us weekly about each kid and are personally invested in their growth and development, going so far as to coordinate with our local schools and teachers to get the right treatment and care when they are out of the program. The results have been remarkable. I recommend them 110% to anyone who is interested in getting help for their kids.
You guys are amazing, thanks for helping our grandson. He thinks it's giving him his life back.
