This place is clicky..1st time to shop. Mechanic screamed and yelled like a child at me for asking to fix a marker light. Was already there for another repair. Stood up for myself and got fired for doing my job. Your a piece of work (Will) in shop. Hope you feel good about getting a single dad of 3kids fired cuz you wudnt fix a marker light..how sad for a mechanic..how sad for a company!!
This is will be my third season working for Kidco and what I ve quickly learned is that if you are attentive, take pride in your work and show initiative, that great opportunities will be presented to you. I love working for Kidco, operating the largest equipment in Calgary, moving ungodly amounts of earth always puts a smile on my face, and makes work enjoyable. I look forward to many more years here building our city!

First of all let me start by addressing those who have bitter hearts towards kidco Construction ... Yes I said bitter !...and I'll tell you how I know that ... First of all you took the time to look us up here ... Maybe you missed us ? and you longed to just see our name again or maybe not or perhaps you were fired for not doing your job to kidco standards ?or maybe not ... Or my people / operator's /management not up to your standards ?... Highly unlikely ...sure every company has a few bad seeds even right down arnry for sure .....but I can tell y'all this as a whole ...Kidco is a great company to work for ... They have never done me wrong have always treated me with respect ..there is always room to advance for those who have the drive . I love my job been an operator over 12 years ... I was driving in Chestermere today and was tailgated by a Kidco white dodge ram pickup truck. As he passed me he gave me the middle finger. Then stopped at the Sobeys liquor store and picked himself up some alcohol.
Great first year. Had lots of help from Formen and co-workers.I was given the opportunity to operate different equipment. I found that everyone was willing to give input good or bad . Such a great experience. Looking farward to another season. Thank you Kidco
Seems like they do decent work. But holy look out if you're driving near their trucks. Got passed by a white truck(license 03-N328) going approx 90 in a 50 today and then they swerved in front of me trying to run me off the road. It has been reported.

I have worked alote of place in the past and kidco is a awesome place to work . This is my 4 season and to say that I'm part of the kidco family. They have keep me busy when other companies haven't been able to keep work going all season long also a good place for opportunities to learn different size of equipments and tasks.
The kidco is a big family have a positive attitude and safe work practice and it will follow you where ever you go.
This is my fifth year with Kidco now, and so far the experience has been both wonderful and exciting working with a diverse, reputable company. It is spring again and I just can t wait to start to get going and see what this year has to hold for us. I enjoy going to work to see what each day brings.
The guys at kidco in the underground division are great to work along side with as a sub contractor. Very helpful and make the job go as easy as possible.

I am in the subgrade crew on the south west ring road expansion and of in spite of all the rain delay I still managed to bring home the bacon all summer!
These guys are great at blocking roads during busy hours. Even today I enjoyed my audio book 20 minutes longer during rush hour thanks to the inconsideratation this company has for people who are trying to get to work. Sure you have a job to do. But so is everyone else who is trying to get to work. I am not saying don't stop work but maybe be more considerate during busy time to let traffic flow instead of stopping every two minutes. Well either way thanks for being a boil on the ass of Calgary.
