A warm place with a rich history of the birth of a country by the people fearless and fear, thanks to those involved.
A warm place with a rich history of the birth of a country by the people fearless and fear, thanks to those involved.
A beautiful and interesting place with professional guidance included in the price, although in my opinion there should be free admission.
An interesting and impressive historical place. We learned about Ben-Gurion's personality, his vision, the entire period of the establishment of the state and before it, his ability to make decisions and execute them. Suitable for coming with school groups or with family. The place is clean, public toilets are clean and tidy. There is a convenience store where you can buy hot and cold drinks. No parking problem.
It is highly recommended to spend at least an hour at the site, starting the tour with a short animated video that provides background and preparation for a visit and then enters the huts area. The visit to the hut really gives you the feeling of going back in time, as if David Ben-Gurion himself has just left for us and invites us to a cup of coffee. Outside the hut there is another highly invested pavilion of learning activity based on computer tables, a film about leadership and another exhibition on kibbutz life. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will probably return for another visit next year. It is recommended to combine the visit on the way to the next vacation in Eilat on or off.
Amazing how modest they lived .... "Where are other people like that man" ....
Historical place. Shows the humble living place of Israel's first prime minister David Ben Gurion
This is a wonderful insight into the life of David Ben Gurion.
The whole place has been renovated, except for Ben-Gurion's hut, which remained as it was in BG It is highly recommended to come and visit calmly and then visit the tombs of Paula and David Ben Gurion, which are adjacent to Sde Boker's Midrash
We received a very professional guided tour from Maronit. Highly recommend.
I have not been there for many years. I was very pleasantly surprised, they did an amazing job there.
We were with the kids for a few hours. Invested, air-conditioned, inexpensive and inspiring. recommended
It is a must for any Israeli who lives here in Israel.
Everything is kept as it once was at the highest possible level ..
The visit conveys the experience of Ben-Gurion and what a rare leader he was ...
warmly recommended
An enriching and educational experience. Suitable for families with children.
An experiential place. Not at all expensive for a large family. The staff helped with every question and request.
Historical place of David Ben Rurion, can see how He was leaving and hear the story of first Israeli prime minister.
Great place that presents the history of Israel and David Ben-Gurion in an exciting and multimedia way.
It's especially nice that the house was left as it was at the end of Ben-Gurion's life. So you have a good impression of the work of the founder of Israel.
Ben-Gurion's "shack" is a fascinating historical place. The images on the walls, the bedrooms, the study room full of books all convey the character reflected in the image of Ben-Gurion. The site is superbly maintained.
Great for family and any age. Important for those who knew and those who did not know ....
A lesson in modesty, in the values that have been lost..clear think what leadership is ..and it really is not our leader today..aach like courage, compassion..creativity ..
A very exciting place
Well done to whoever did it
The important site for training Ben Gurion's daily life
With children the experience is more amazing. Interactive. Not a museum of yesteryear. highly recommend
Wonderful.
Highly recommended.
Great for traveling with family.
You can combine with a walking route in Ein Avdat.
A very inflated place and worth a historic visit + a movie
A piece of history was presented to us about a great and admired person with a vision and personal example in the history of the founders of the State of Israel. The videos along with Ben Gurion and Paula his wife's personal and authentic belongings threw us into a time we did not know, but only attended school.
David Ben-Gurion did much good in his wisdom by bequeathing and instructing to leave the barracks on their belongings for generations to present to the youth who did not know the initial period of rebellion and wars for an inexperienced young state and means of war against enemies from all sides.
It's all about views. If you expect to see only a hut, then there is much more in the complex. There is nothing remarkable here, the ones that this hut symbolizes are an important part of the rebellion of Israel.
The place has been upgraded and the movies from the interactive activities are kindly recommended for visiting with children and teenagers
An important piece of history of the State of Israel in modern times. An exemplary example of true, visionary leadership, fearlessly made, humble and little satisfied.
The shack is well kept, and the video shows points in Ben Gurion's life that are concise and instructive.
It's a shame that the library in Ben-Gurion's study is without the books (possibly because of a desire to preserve them).
I would recommend adding at the door of each room (or any other technological means) explanations of the objects of a room, some unfamiliar to the younger generation (huge transistor, map of Israel with the green line, etc.).
Mandatory recreation on the way to Eilat with the children.
at least once .
Short and not burdensome
interesting to see how a prime minister lived in a simple place ,
caring for the new country and the dessert
OK but not amazing. The kids got bored pretty quickly.
Lovely authentic and exciting
Our history with a true leader
A very interesting place. Get to know better who declared the country. A really recommended stop on the way to our beautiful south
A spacious and well-kept complex with beautiful and interesting exhibitions.
Suitable for the whole family.
It shows the simplicity of a patriot
Safety pin
Lovely place ... modesty of a politician nation today
Simplicity and country style.
Modesty and respect for a special person. A must-see website for the country
An exciting experience. A glimpse into the simplicity of the life of the founder of the state.
Very interesting, to see the legacy of such a determined and strong man!
Nice activity for a busy day ... The house itself is interesting, and around there are quite a few activities, representations and movies, so you can spend two or more hours there for fun.
A historic place. It is important for children to be exposed to the simplicity and modesty of yesteryear
An important historical place in the country. Keep and groom with sonic light representations and short videos suitable for young people as well.
beautiful place. Exciting and historical. I especially liked Ben-Gurion's statue next to the hut
Very historic and highly recommended place. For clean and clean children it is very important to see
Diverse activities for the whole family Spectacular hut with original furniture and rooms by Ben Gurion Exhibition videos in a variety of languages and interesting movies
Heritage and Zionism!
The place is maintained, the price is symbolic and there are children's experiences.
We arrived on the eve of the second Passover. The site has already opened at 8:30. The parking lot is not too big. They entered with two children aged 6.5 and a 2.5-year-old boy who entered without charge.
There is activity for children in the barracks - looking for objects and marking in which room - very enjoyed. There is activity of the Negev map in the sand - it is not clear what is being done there.
There is a computer class with an experience for children - reasonable and there are films outside Ben Gurion's life - painted, clear and speaking for all ages.
Total positive experience and teaching. It is worthwhile and necessary to stop
Interesting exhibits, also make the information accessible to young children.
Was interesting and fun
A magical place ... just a pity that until we arrived Ben Gurion and Paula were not home
A visit that can be missed and ask everything you know about it from Wikipedia. 40 NIS unjustified.
The place is really beautiful and maintained. At the entrance the children receive a puzzle booklet and in order to get to the answer they must look for all sorts of things in the hut. Only after finding all the items do they discover the answer
A historic and special place. It is highly recommended.
Nice place, suitable for groups and individuals, good activities for children and youth.
exciting.
Not to be missed is the pavilion where the film is screened on the dilemmas of a leader. Was special and made excellently (featuring actors).
We came to a family with 7 and 10 year old girls who enjoyed it.
A modern film that conveys anecdotes from Ben-Gurion's life story in an interesting way for children and adults. Interactive tables. The exhibition is invested around a special person.
Well done to the thinkers and the performers!
It's a cool place. Kind of like a museum where you can explore Ben-Gurion and what his life was like and his accomplishments. Could only spend about 2 hours there at most. There really isn't a ton to do.
David Ben-Gurion's House, an invested heritage site that showcases his life and vision. Represent movie interactive. The house was kept as it was in its last days.
Recommended for children especially in the 1970s to the State of Israel. Worth visiting Paula and David's tomb.
Disabled Accessible
Available in several languages
Really informative. A time travel to the beginning of the state of Israel and the efforts invested in the development of the Negev, focused on one of the greatest prime ministers of Israel. Take your time to read the various texts written on the walls of the sheds and get acquainted with the unique personality of David Ben Gurion. A must for Israelis.
It is worth a visit to understand how important the Negev is to the State of Israel and to David Ben-Gurion's vision.
A must-see site for every Israeli who loves his country
Beautifully arranged place with a view and close to local attractions
An impressive historical place with a special aura. In front of the hut is a store for various products with a point of sale of Sde Boker winery that produces excellent wines.
