Ben-Gurion's original hut is kept in its original shape (additional covert air conditioning). You can tour with or without guidance. It's important not to miss the computer room - a family run, and an animated film about David Ben-Gurion and his acting.

The house, or rather the hut where David Ben-Gurion lived. Everything in the house remained as it is after his death, all objects in their places. Study, kitchen, bedrooms, as if time had stopped.

As a museum about a personality is fine, but only if you are really interested in the subject. If you want to know about Ben-Gurion or specific history, go, but I would not recommend it as a general interest.

Amazing place!!!

Amazing place!!!
Settlement in which he lived and worked his last years a great man. David Ben Gurion. Here you can get acquainted with the history of the creation of the State of Israel and find out what role this wonderful person played in it.
You can visit the house where David lived and worked, his real bedroom, bathroom and study!
The complex has a park area, a museum zone and a play area (with computers and other lotions). So any generation will find here what it does. There is a small cafe for snacks and drinks. Parking.Very recommended for the site.

I didn't really know anything about David Ben gurion before coming here, but he seems to have been a great man, who knew how to put the needs of his people ahead of their wants. His humility in living in a frontier commune makes him even greater

Sde Boker is a small kibbutz in the Negev desert hosting one of the Ben Gurion University campus and a memorial. You may book an accommodation and stay for few days discovering the place and natural parks close to it (see Ein Avdat). The desert is magnificent, changing colours from the sunrise to sunset. It's a very peaceful place to rest and re-charge one's batteries, even 2-3 days make a difference. I almost killed myself riding a borrowed bicycle pursuing the evening light and encountering ibexes, peaceful, not afraid and showing they are the masters of the place, not me. I could only watch and admire.

Family or couple experience

Family or couple experience
I visited here with the woman I was with
It was as part of a birthday trip.
We came as a couple and talked a lot about the couple Paula and David.
We examined the house, their beds.
We were looking for togetherness.
We managed to imagine Paula getting mad that David had brought her to the desert ... after New York and Tel Aviv.

The visit to the house is exciting.
Infinity of books
The infinity of David's handwritten notebook
A must visit. Exemplary Zionism and intimacy.
Thanks to Ravid who is with me :).

History ... Especially in honor of the 70th anniversary of the state, there is nothing like a visit to the Ben Gurion hut to appreciate the madness and greatness of man. Even today Sde Boker is at the end of the world left and it's hard to imagine what it was like 70 years ago.

The museum itself adapts itself to the time and there are spring multimedia displays. The exhibition of the human Ben-Gurion. The person who honors his coming to the alliance or answers to a child disguised as a fascinating astronaut.

The hut itself seems to have stood queen since his death in the 1970s.

Do not miss and arrive privately and do not wait for a school trip.

Also open on Saturday.

The voice guidance is good.

The voice guidance is good.
The instruction of the display road is particularly problematic due to the appearance of advertising pages that fill the screen and blur the image.
Once we arrive at the screen sometimes calls to stop the software.
This requires re-updating and employs the user in a way that endangers him if he does not actually stop.
Certain passages on the way were used in other software.

The illustration at the hut site speaks to young and old. The message is on several levels at the same time - what is leadership. Why anyone who does not believe in miracles here in the Negev is not a realist. Good guidance is possible. The site is also built for at least one hour of independent tour. Elisha

Must pass this place, the place evokes Zionism and restores the right proportions associated with the establishment of the state, whether it is in the conditions prevailing today and whether it is in the ability to make decisions from a place of personal example.
The place is beautifully maintained, with the best technology in the various rooms, it is possible to use a dedicated app with the use of a personal headset ...

Great little historical museum. Worthy of a visit if you are touring the area. It's a collection of small buildings were David ben Gurion the founding father of the state of Israel lived when he retreated from politics. The museum offer a glimpse into the man's life and glimpse into his legacy. The humility, seeking the simple life of a working men and the pioneering spirit are a far cry from today's leadership style. The small size of the museum means one can enjoy it without it been too overbearing (sometimes a great leader can be too much to take in one day). At the entrance there is a simple coffee shop with surprisingly good coffee and a stand with wine made in the next door vineyard.
