good place and good prices.
I usually do my shopping in an other market, and today I decided to try Key Food, and i must say that I am glad i did. They have nice selection of fruits, vegetables, and bread. Everything is clean, and the Deli section looks organized with fresh products.
Good chance that this location will be my new location for shopping.

The manager the daytime manager should be fired today he raised his voice at me and I did not appreciate that I have heard him yell and scream of his employees talking down to people should be dismissed immediately the Indian looking gentleman I've been going to this key food for over 30 years never had such disrespect by anybody there

I have no choice to go to this supermarket its over priced and have to carefully check experation dates on items. The Guyanese cashier is the best there. Stay clear of grandma on the register she's rude and slow on top of it. I'd rather wait on a long line than go to her if she was free. Produce people are nice and workers are nice managers are nice and workable not so much the Asian one but all the others are. The Spanish lady at the deli is horrific but after I complained it seemed to change her attitude a bit thanks to management I'm sure. Worst part of this store is there are ppl usually only 3 registers open so you have to wait no matter what... Not that wasn't that bad when the other supermarkets like Pathmark and walbaums was still open but now that they are closed... They should def have more registers if not all registers open at all times especially peak times! I know they have to be getting more business idk why they don't. Also another thing I dislike is that they close early. They would get so much not business if they didn't close so early and would give customers more time. Wish Pathmark was still open! The district manager I met once he came all suited up n went out of his way for customers too bad the rest don't do that. Keyfood is ok but expect to wait on line a while and be prepared for rude cashiers as well. Avoid weekends after school time and around 6pm for super long wait time. Hope this helps!

They are already charging for brown bags 10 cents or bring your own. Clearly signs on entrance door and every cashier indicated staring March 1. Of all the stores I have been to, they are the only ones charging. When I told the cashier no answer. The young girl working next to her just sared at me. Little girl know your laws. The can of lentils pit in my bag and just carried the fresh spinach. Plus I was at key on Kingshiway and west 5th. They are not charging until March 1.

I like the store but not feeling people are friendly. The aisle space is tiny especually in the back. Some customers critize too much if someone passes them even without getting in touch with them or to their cart. Due to pandemic crisis, most people pass when thete is enough space to get food shopping done asap in order to get out the market. Or maybe form a line to get in by group as a resolution.

Dirty and chaotic. They don't pay attention in refilling products on the shelves, so often products are put on sale way over the expiration date (it happened to me twice with mozzarella cheese). Fresh vegetables are often frozen, so they are burned by the ice and they go bad fast once in your fridge. Most of all, personnel at the registers is unprofessional and unpolite, they are on their phones chatting and playing all the time, and they answer you in a bad manner when you "interrupt" their amusement

They put duplicate price and date tags with fresher date of produce over the old tag on a fruit salads , which was already 3 days old , and produce was spoiled already ...

Great selection of groceries. I have never had an issue with the expiration dates on any of their products.

The cashiers are friendly and eager to help, all of my interactions with them have been pleasant.

Produce is of good quality, and reasonable price. There is a selection of harder to find, organic produce as well.

Great cuts of meat, this is the primary place where I buy my meat. I have never had an issue with cleanliness or quality.

Good selection, courteous staff.

Good selection, courteous staff.

Pros: wide selection of gluten free and organic items, good sales discounts, returning an item was effortless and easy, most cashiers are friendly, parking lot space available, has a bottle deposit machine outside.
Cons: most items are more expensive than Whole Foods. Also, key foods brand frozen kale and bagels at 8pm was a mistake.

Some staff are nice, but thats the best thing at this store! okay prices, check your food labels before purchase. Numerous times I would find expired food, can foods, food boxes you name it and bring it to the cashier to help them out.. Once the cashier actually asked me if I still wanted to buy it! Fun fact: Super fresh is now open which is five minute walk from this KF and its BEAUTIFUL inside! FRESH food, salad bar, amazing staff, great prices, with a sit down area and restroom for customers. Go there if you can, you'll love it!

Very good Staff is friendly.

Very good Staff is friendly.
The price is fair and the place is clean.
The food is fresh, there are many parking places, so I like it very much.

No express line. Their selection is good but I didn't have time to make a 1 item purchase with each line having 5 customers in front of me. Only half the checkouts were open and it was Saturday morning at 10:30am. I would call that peak time.

Price and quantity of good are limiting. Produce in particular is overpriced compared to bodegas about a mile away. Its the closest store so I use it but nothing special. Staff are normal people which has its pro and its cons- expect random delays from people talking or walking away to preform other tasks without saying anything. I'm spoiled by Publix in the south. Overall an average place to get the fuel you need to survive.

I shop there all the time but for the past recent weeks the meat department is on strike. Don't want to cross the picket line so I haven't brought any meats. I am running out. Next week will shop at another store

If this wasn't the only supermarket in the area, I wouldn't be going there. Stuff is very ignorant and rude. They have only one nice cashier (and you'll notice that her line has 10 people while other have 0 ot 1).
Lately they reorganized the store and cleaned it up which earns them the 3 stars.

It's ok if you want to buy a few things, but not too much they are pricy. Plus the young people who work at the registers aren't polite at all. You say thank you & they stay quiet. So rude! I noticed they like to be on their phones a lot too. They don't even help you bag your own groceries if you bring your own bags, So they can have more time on their phone. They charge you for plastic bags here. C-town on 18th ave don't charge you at all.

Outside recycle bin is always full. Customers can't return plastic bottles. Lazy employees don't even care. They were notified twice about the problem their response was "couple of minutes" Customer was waiting at least 20 minutes and went to the store one more time to Ask what's going on. Rude floor guy who goes by the name of Ricky was playing stupid saying to the Customer I just spoke with you. No! It was 20 minutes ago. Key Food management should educate their employees. When you're saying a "couple of minutes" it means 2 minutes (sometimes up to 5 minutes) Not 20 minutes! A few minutes means 2-5. Several minutes means more than > 5-10 minutes. Choose your words carefully next time and be Nice to customers who are paying the money. OK store but some employees should be retrained or fired. That's not the way you deal with customers. Hope you can learn from your mistakes.
