There are two Kenya Comfort Hotel in Nairobi. Have lived on both. The hotel, which is centrally located is quite small and is in a cluttered environment while the hotel called Kenya Comfort Suites is located in a quieter environment in Milimani and you can walk into the city or take a taxi. Both hotels have a simpler standard and work well if you need accommodation for one or two nights longer than that one should not stay.
It's very nice staff at both hotels and the service is okay and prices are good.

It's clean, the staff are friendly especially Aisha at the restaurant.
Sleep area no mosquitoes except the mattress I slept on was terrible in room 318. Lots of backache.
Also on Friday it was very noisy until 11pm.

It's quite a quiet place considering it's location giving a good illusion of serenity, meals are 5/5 fantastic and best of all is the bar and quater zone that provide good drinks for the evening.. Definetely needs another visit.

Made my night a good one. I'd checked in a little bit late after 10pm and it's not a thing I'd regret. They still the chef on ready to fix us a hot plate.....it meant a lot to us. I recommend KCH anytime any day whilst in Nairobi

I wanted a get away but it was a bad idea to choose this hotel... the cleaners are not considerate of other guests who might be sleeping... dragging things loudly and chit chatting loudly along the corridors...they been ruining my sleep every morning ...I'm disappointed even when I ask for consideration nobody seems to care...it's not worth another visit for me..

One of the most cosy friendly locations to spend a day a night at . Great service and unique whole in the window verandah balcony sitting overlooking the historical Jevanjee Gardens. I would recommend any one looking for a nice place to relax .

This hotel was the one which I chose to stay at during my first visit to Kenya.

Apparently it used to be a government office a long time ago as the layout of the building and floors is just like a government office.
The rooms are adequate enough if you are not expecting any luxury.

One of the few hotels in Nairobi which still has non air conditioned rooms (without even a ceiling fan or a table fan) which can make it hellish since popping the windows will invite the hordes of mosquitos for a blood buffet in your room.

Also very disgustingly, there are bat nests or hornet nests right outside the windows against the exterior walls.

I have spent a sleepless night in one of these non aircon rooms, switching over to the air conditioned room on the 4/5th floors.
Things were not much better as the cleanliness was deplorable, room was mosquito infested and bedsheets looked as if they had not been changed for a month.

The restaurant area on the first floor has it's own charm and is actually pleasant place to spend your spare time with a chilled beer sitting on the ledge watching the world go by on street below.
The breakfast spread is average.

The only advantage of staying here is the close access to the market area nearby ..
Access to the hotel in peak traffic hours is a nightmare as the entire muindi street is blocked as hell.

Inspite of the above mentioned factors I would recommend a short stay here in case you don't mind a frugal and centrally located hotel.

Truly a horrible place to stay. The area is rough the dorm rooms are clean but cramped and hot as the windows did not open. Also there was a glass panel above the bathroom door so whenever the bathroom light was turned on the whole room was flooded with light. Also the staff only allowed us 1 key for everyone staying in the dorm. However the staff were very helpful and friendly.
