Apparently the speedway is having financial difficulties. I just found out they couldn't afford the new track drier that might have allowed for the race to run as scheduled. This is the problem with this generation of nascar. Money in all of their pockets come before the fans. Even the drivers have this attitude

I'm only 14 but I've gone to many races and this one was by far my favorite. Everyone was nice, there were concessions everywhere, and the bathrooms were very nice. As for the racing, they did an amazing job to prepare the track because the race was very exciting. Lots of action and a great finish. If there is anything they can improve, it would be the traffic getting out. Still hands down a 5-star track.

I enjoyed watching one of the best races of the season there! Enjoyed it and the staff was friendly and the food was great. However, a couple of things need to be addressed:

Why in the world are the rows not clearly marked? I shouldn't have to count from the bottom row and go "1, 2, 3, etc."

Also, the merchandise trailers were not easy to get to.

Other than that, good experience! Main thing is paint some row markers! (I was in Grandstand 2J, near Gate 20)

I have been to every event at the Speedway except for the mud fest the first year. I now own an infield camping spot, and couldn't be happier with Kentucky Speedway. Just like every other track on the Nascar circuit, they had their issues the first weekend of CUP racing. Every staff member I have had contact with have been very pleasant and helpful.

I go to the Xfinity and Sprint Cup races every year. Tamara in the ticket office ALWAYS treats me great and with respect, I love her for this and always try to treat her the same. She knows my boyfriend and I are elderly and have trouble with stairs and gives us elevator passes. My only complaint is the 1st time we went we bought passes to go onto the track and was told we could also go into the garage area and see the drivers. I so wanted to surprise my friend with this as he knows many of them. He use to travel with the Uno car several years ago on the circuit. My heart was broken only to find out I was fibbed to. It was after that experience that I talked with Tamara and she is the ONLY person that I will deal with. I took my savings account to buy those extra tickets. I have never ever tried to get anymore as I know I could never afford them. I do think it would be nice if you could run some kind of special deal in the hot passes so "normal" people could be on the track the same time as the cars and drivers are before the race, or to go to the garages to see old friends.

Great way to experience my first Nascar Cup race. Size of track allows you to follow action all the way around it. Clean grounds, good food, good family environment. Really appreciated the track Ministry as well. I've been to 2 Cup races & 1 Xfinity race now. Can't wait for next time!

Our group has been attending NASCAR races at Kentucky Speedway since the inaugural event in 2011. We have endured the traffic fiasco of year one, the extreme heat, the bitter cold of the fall race, the severe storms, the always present challenge of getting out of the parking lot, but have always returned for more. That is now changing - we will not be back! Last weekend we parked as instructed, set up our canopies, coolers, etc. only to be later told by the "fire lane Nazi" we had to move because we were in the "fire lane" - a line scraped in the gravel. Last year we witnessed this person destroy someone's canopy because it protruded into the "lane". After some civilizednegotiation we agreed to move to another location - which meant packing all of our stuff back into the vehicles. We were assured the new space was ours, because the area had already been parked. We set up again, only to be told once again we had to move - this time by a KY State Trooper. He claimed they wanted to squeeze more cars in - never happened - the area was still empty when the race was over! Again we packed up and moved. Being made to move three times, even after following parking instructions, was ridiculous. Fire lanes are important, as we saw by the burning truck, but someone at Ky Speedway needs to get parking under control. We have attended races at other tracks and never had a problem - set up once and enjoy the day. Next year we will be at another track! Unfortunately Kentucky, you've lost some more fans, and judging from the attendance last weekend, that is something you can't afford to do.

We went for the Mario Andretti Ride Along, which we purchased from Groupon! What a fun event! The Speedway was efficeint and easy to get to (although I know that's not the case during races) and the facilities were open so you could explore a bit.

Nice facility. Parking was easy to navigate but exiting was difficult and time consuming. I waited almost an hour without moving. There was no one directing traffic to help move the traffic inside of parking lot.

Need more souvenir trailers, move the children's area away from restrooms. Made it very difficult for handicap people since the restrooms were blocked off. They had to walk further around to reach them. Ushers need to monitor the stands more during the races for the smokers. We complained but noone ever came to check for us.

It was a hike to get anywhere. Everything is up on a hill and there were no t.v. screens outside of the race so if you get food or use the restroom you can't see what's going on. Not one of my favorite speedways.
