Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center Review

Charge $10 for event parking and you can't leave then come back without paying again. Garbage.

Used as meeting place for our circut assembly was in very dirty condition until we cleaned but it was appreciated being able to use the building

Went to park at usual place and entrance was closed.

It's a fantastic facility. So many great friends and family and great times with sheep and all livestock friends and family from all over the country

Very clean as always. Kind of disappointed in the boat show this year. They seem to only cater to run about / pontoon boaters and RVrs. You get the occasional lake boat but it's nothing like it used to be.

Very large place....great overview of planes leaving airport also....

I have never been a big fan of this place. Its very big. Maybe if I went there for fun vs. A trade show for work. I might enjoy it a little.

For an older person with disabilities it is a very long walk. There were no benches to sit down. Seems like with all the workers there you could have had some closer to neighborhoods.

Visited for Bourbon and Beyond. Parking was not organized. We were forced to park so far away from the even that you really had no idea where your car was after....

Huge complex, but the really sting you on the price of parking.

Great location for any event. NSRA show was amazing with 13,000 cars.

Always something to do there, from conventions to the State Fair.

Attended a conference at this venue. Large and accommodating rooms.

One of the cleanest and nicest exhibition halls I have encountered.

Kids carnival was super fun! Expo center was clean and staff was friendly and helped you out when needed, did I mention it was HUGE!

Love going here for conventions & concerts. Parking is decent & plentiful.

Went to the dinosaur exhibit. Displays were so so. Overpriced won't do it again

I have exhibited with the IBEX show every year that it has been in Louisville so far. I have to say that move in, move out and all other interactions with on-site staff have been better than any other place I've ever exhibited. Bonus: RV camping on-site, with hookups!

We had a very good time at the fair. We were there for the band at one of the beer tents, To take in a couple of the free acts. To eat lunch at the beef,pork,fish,poultry, and vegetable growers tent. And to walk around some and buy fudge and a corn dog. Four hours later we had had all the fun our feet could stand. I will say the trollies to your car were running bunched up and we had to wait 35 minutes to catch one to leave. If my feet had not been hurting so much, I'd have probably just walked back to my car.

The KY fairgrounds has very pricy parking . The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained.

Been here many times. This time for Senior day at the Kentucky State Fair. Great facility.

Could better plan staffing at the parking lot tolls prior to entry. 2 of 4 open for a big concert seems like bad management. Not to mention the hazard to traffic being backed up. Need more efficiency!!

The two stars are for exorbitant parking prices and admission prices. Also no military discounts. Everything else was good.

Enjoyed the archery tournament the kids had fun the put on a A1 tournament

Was amazing. Rides were amazing.
Ya'll need to chill on the prices though. 10 bucks for a slice of pizza, one burger and fries, or chicken tenders and fries. The portions are not worth it.
Also, ten bucks for one mixed drink?
I just go out to the car and eat a sandwich.
The penguin river which is now the rapid river i believe was a bore. Truthfully.
Loved the storm chaser! Rode it so many times this weekend my wife and i lost count. They have two cars going to the line goes fast.
Water park was cool. I think you have too many shops open there specifically. Makes things appear crowded. But tube rides were incredible.
On to staff. They were plesant enough. I had quite a few i liked following from ride to ride. The got everone hyped up. Not so much first thing in the morning. Morning shift did not appear too approachable. But i think thats everyone before their cup of coffee.
I honestly admired ya'll for the free drink stands though. Ya'lls prices were too high.
All in all my vacation with my wife was perfect. Thanks guys.

I like the expo center I go there three or four times a year

Awesome place! very spacious. The power did go out in a quarter of the building while i was there and it took them a day to restore it. I was there for two days.

Fairgrounds are looking run down and in need of much repair.

Loved the concert and venue but parking was terrible we were 8 minutes away and paid 50.00 for a cab then we decided to park the 2nd night and it was cheap but we waited 2 hours for a shuttle to take us to our car which was in the same parking lot but our car was about 1 mile away.. they should have had more shuttles working and the driver was driving so fast I thought he was going to wreck!

Difficult when working with food or snacks. You are required to use their vendor who is extremely expensive.

My daughter play basketball there didn't know Kentucky Kingdom have that much room inside
