As long as the lights stay on you'll be fine. Make sure you get all the information ahead of time for a dip in the dead sea! Need reservations ahead of time for the 2 restaurant, none needed for the open Buffet.

Staff is attentive, personal and kind! The staff go to great lengths to ensure only the greatest experiences! The only knock I have is the place is huge and lots of walking to get around; but, again, the staff stopped us to get a ride in their club car....keep up the great service!!!

The rooms at ishtar villas are very lovely and very clean they missed some spots but all in all I'm satisfied. The only thing I'm not very satisfied with is the food and beverage service they are very slow and when in big groups they miss up orders and some people may miss their meals and wait extra time to get their order ready.

I am a regular customer. But the last visit it was disappointing from the service at restaurants... Dinner at the OBELISK restaurant I grab the ashtray by my self and napkins by my self from the service station and I ask the waiter for a toothpick and I wait around 30 min until the chef he brings it for me... Funny things are is no customers just 5 tables... And this continues we found our bed cover has a red spot ( blood ) or I don't know what it was.
the entrance of our room in Ishtar room was extremely dirty with some dirty plates and some insect around the dirty plates .. Except some diry words from the cooks work behind the grill at sea food dinner night .
You sale a service dear before any things....

One of the best hotels in Dead Sea. It may be more expensive than the other 5 star hotels but the complementary water, juice, cold towels and fruits make it the best resort in Dead Sea. The staff is also super nice & helpful. The breakfast is super !

We went there for having a spa day. The staff was very friendly. Facilities were great and well maintained. We had an hour and a half Arabic massage and then the staff had made arrangements to swim in the Dead Sea. We then had a very tasty lunch under lemon trees by an outdoor pool. Everyone was very polite and helpful The hotel is huge and luxurious and has an exotic atmosphere Highly recommended.

This hotel is really luxurious. It has the biggest room I've ever seen in a hotel. My room was standard 5083 on the fifth floor with a fantastic view of the dead sea. I had a huge balcony too where people can sit to smoke or just to enjoy the weather. The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant offer yummy food from all over the world. Many swimming pools are there and the beach by the dead sea was great place. I hope I will be there again and again.

Final assessment:

Final assessment:
If you go at a standard time and nothing out of the ordinary happens, then you will have a good experience. Rooms are nice and buffet is delicious.
If for some reason something doesn t go well, don t expect the issue to be handled like any other luxury relsort you may have experienced. You will be left frustrated.
The customer service is definitely not what you d expect from this level of resort. This is the second time that something has happened. We let the poor handling of the first situation go. This time, after five days and two emails, someone finally wrote back and again it was handled with very little care or effort.
I would expect this from a place of lesser repute, but not of a place that should be on par with Four Seasons.

My third time here and it still be best hotel in Jordan no doubt.
Spacious rooms and comfy beds.
Staff are amazing, very welcoming.
Best room service fast and polite.
Amazing club sandwich, would highly recommend it.
Try taking the deluxe room with direct access to the pool, as the other normal rooms are far away from the pool and breakfast area.
Hope they can fix the hotel entrance smell, you will need to hold you breath. See image of the entrance.

The resort is beautifully designed, the details are well taken care of ...the paintings in the main building, the friendly staff ( Mr. Noor Al Turk ) , spacious rooms, beautiful trees and flowers and different swiming pools. I loved the rooms on the lazy river pool, very convenient for those who love to swim and enjoy some sense of privacy. Special thanks to the amazing LV at the pool bar. She is exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The lifeguards are very attentive and friendly specially with children ( Hany and Ahmad and Mohammad ).

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place.

They wake your speaker upon entering. The restaurants on site are really overpriced. We walked to a nearby restaurant for more affordable food. I was not provided a welcome drink.

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the Ishtar Deluxe room. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The view is gorgeous. The food at the infinity pool restaurant and the Italian restaurant is okay but service is really slow- the wait is over 40 min. Because of this, I marked it down.

Great location and service at this sprawling property. The room is functional but a bit dated. Since is a huge property, there are a lot of public space and they aren t the best decorated and maintained. The hotel has a private access to the Dead Sea with attendant preparing Dead Sea mud and of course fresh water showers and towel. Hotel has multiple pools so when the main pool gets too crowded, one can always go to the others. Waited for a long time for someone to help with luggage at check out. Please make sure you call ahead!

Beautiful experience, magnificent hotel with views...

Beautiful experience, magnificent hotel with views of the Dead Sea, private beach where you can swim and the muds they say are miraculous, (since I returned yesterday, I cannot yet express myself on its beneficial effects).
ALL the staff very attentive to the needs of the guests, the BUONISSIMA breakfast for choice and quality.
Now let me give you some advice on how to manage the day; early in the morning down to the beach and soak in water for about 1/2 hour, once out of the water sprinkle the body with mud and remain seated for 20 minutes before returning in water and remove mud and out with salt that you find on a container next to the lifeguard, massage the body, take a shower, at this point the path is finished and you can relax lying on the bed, I recommend repeating this path in the afternoon.
Going up, take a seat on the round infinity pool where, in addition to making magnificent bathrooms, you can enjoy the spectacle of the colors of the sea, mountains, and sky, which in a few hours of the day blend into a range of blue colors !!!
It is a structure that offers everything and more, however, a bit expensive to give you an example that is proportioned on all other things a coffee costs JOD 4.5 around 5.5 EURO.

For a 5 star hotel by Kempinski, very depraved.

For a 5 star hotel by Kempinski, very depraved.
The entrance area is still promising, but the rooms are very in need of an overhaul. Many details, such as mosquito screens are broken, mirrors and fittings are loose. Terrace furniture neglected. Almost exclusively Asian staff who are overwhelmed with friendliness and almost annoying.
You have to walk stairs to the bungalows in the lower area, not suitable for the elderly. Restaurants and drinks completely overpriced.
Constantly new mosquitoes in the room, as the house staff always leaves the door open while the room is cleaned. Of course, everything with total festival lighting. Breakfast is ok but the fruit is unripe and tasteless. Pool service perfect but the main pool out of order.
There was hammering and flexing in front of our room the whole week as the paths were being mended.
All in all a "unique" experience.
