For a 5 star hotel by Kempinski, very depraved.

For a 5 star hotel by Kempinski, very depraved.
The entrance area is still promising, but the rooms are very in need of an overhaul. Many details, such as mosquito screens are broken, mirrors and fittings are loose. Terrace furniture neglected. Almost exclusively Asian staff who are overwhelmed with friendliness and almost annoying.
You have to walk stairs to the bungalows in the lower area, not suitable for the elderly. Restaurants and drinks completely overpriced.
Constantly new mosquitoes in the room, as the house staff always leaves the door open while the room is cleaned. Of course, everything with total festival lighting. Breakfast is ok but the fruit is unripe and tasteless. Pool service perfect but the main pool out of order.
There was hammering and flexing in front of our room the whole week as the paths were being mended.
All in all a "unique" experience.
