Great place to stay during MSU orientations. Right next to the campus. The parent orientation was held here in their convention center...very convenient. The hotel and my room was very clean and cozy. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Attended a conference. The food was delicious. The conference rooms were nice but a little cold. They have a parking garage, so weather isn't a factor when going to or from your vehicle. The location is nice, right on the edge of the MSU campus.
Only knock is inconsistent quality of food for Conference Groups. Not sure if preparation issue, maybe scale menu back and focus on what you do good? That, and they setup coffee but it was empty by 10am break, and could not get it refilled by time meeting started back up.
The conference center was professional and very nice. The staff were very accommodating as well. The rooms were quite large and the A/V system was easy to use.
The room was small but nicely furnished with a European style bathroom. The queen size bed was comfortable and the hotel was extremely quiet and restful. They have a wonderful restaurant in the hotel. The State Room with offers high-end casual dining. The whole menu is available for room service as well.
Attended Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center for professional development, the conference room was spacious, and not too cold or too hot. The food was delicious and the staff was available for tech support when needed.
My wife and I had our wedding here and it went off without a hitch! They were very helpful as far as working with the vendors and were very flexible as well. The whole process was very simple and straight forward which I really appreciated. And though we did not have much time to eat the food was really good. All in all a great venue for any event!
I went to the Kellogg for a Lansing Econ Lunch and really enjoyed it. The food was good and the environment was conducive to networking and conversation.
Great hotel on campus. Ask for parent rates if you are visiting your student. Note about the bathroom..they are Europeanish in that there is no shower stall just a curtain. As a result the entire bathroom floor gets wet which is a little weird. They do provide a teak mat to stand on. It all works fine just a bit different from what you may be used to.
I attended a 2 day conference this week, but did not stay over. The conference rooms and public areas were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was very good.
It was a great event, but I was disappointed in the food service. Our chicken was very dry and the dirty dishes sat on the table until well after the time people got up and started dancing.
The service for my work conference was very attentive, especially during the planned meals. The conference rooms and furniture were clean and modern. I recommend this as a venue for a professional meeting.
The rooms are rather condensed. The bathrooms are European style and have a very odd shower setup. Basically the showerhead hangs from the ceiling and you pull the curtain around you. It leaves the bathroom floor pretty wet when you're done but works ok. However, our showerhead was broken and basically just leaked water in a spout type fashion. The customer service was very good. They have a text feature that I found very useful and used a few times over the weekend. The food was very good and meeting rooms were nice. Only other problem as the hotel and meeting rooms were quite warm. We ended up opening windows in both to stay comfortable.
The hotel is comfy and the people are very friendly. Food is great. And the location is inside MSU campus. There is no smoking facility even in the outside. I was there in a conference, so i tried the facilities as well, and i would recomend that
I am in and out of the kellogg center for class. It is a great hotel. My class here at the building lets me see the ins and outs of the building like the kitchen, rooms, and all the rest of the hotel. The hotel has a great helpful staff. If you need a hotel in east Lansing the Kellogg is the place to be.
Beautiful hotel in the middle of it all. I go to the Michigan Beekeepers Association Conference here. There are a ton of great class rooms and two different auditoriums. One is a ballroom.
Night two of not much sleep. You can hear every door open and close. You can hear any conversation in the hall. Paper thin walls. Small rooms. Pricey food. Will opt out of this one for future visits....
The location was great!! The room was a bit small & the shower/bathroom was the worst. I didn't like the way it was set up with there not being a specific bath tub & shower. Even with the curtain pulled around the entire floor got wet & the little board to step on afterward didn't help much to keep your feet dry when trying to get ready for a wedding. I'm glad we only had to stay over night.
I was there for a social event in one of their conference rooms. They had this fancy water dispenser at the entrance, along with minor refreshments. The employees were very respectable, and looked very sharp. The room itself was modern looking, though the seating wasn't as comfortable as I hoped.
