I bought my H3 Hummer here a year or so back and had a great experience. The sales staff is low pressure and willing to help you find what you're looking for, even if they don't have it on the floor that day. They were also receptive to communications after the sale, which is pretty rare in this market. I'll probably stop by here first for my next car. I would recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a vehicle.
Promises made don't reflex actions when I tried to purchase..
I scheduled my day and company employees around a promised meet and delivery of vehicle, not to mention my wife taking off to drive me to the meeting..(From out of state ) Only to be told within a few hours of leaving that they could not meet, then offer me 200.00 for 8.5 hrs of drive time (there and back) if we come pick up the vehicle..

Steve, When I first contacted your company I asked about meeting half way if the deal gets done. I didn't haggle price, I asked several questions about the SUV I was interested in, thought about it and decided, yes i'd like the SUV... Then I am told there were now a couple of other buyers but I was first.. Then we decided to try to meet Monday but a driver couldn't be located, THEN i'm told the windshield was cracked and needed to be replaced so Monday was out, but Tuesday was a sure thing..The windshield was never mentioned before this, then as Tuesday mid day i'm told you can't meet me at all !!!! So I have a hard time understanding why you think my review is out of line. My wife and I both made plans involving my company, her work and our kids to make the meeting we were assured was okay for Tuesday, and then a last minute warranty you try to sell me I almost forgot about....Then let's not forget the $ 200.00 offer to me to drive up and get the SUV.. Would you drive to me for the $ 200.00.... I think your actions gave us the answer...

I purchased a vehicle a couple months ago and Doug was great to work with. Doug agreed to stick around after hours in order for me to test drive the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I had a budget for a vehicle and Doug agreed with my price and it was a smooth transaction without having to play the back and forth counter offer game.
When I got the vehicle and took it home, unfortunately the starter went out. I called the owner Steve the next day and he had no problems paying for a $400.00 starter for the vehicle; which has been running great ever since!
KC Motors has great customer service and I feel they offer a great selection of vehicles. I highly recommend this company!

AWESOME place to buy a pre-owned car! My teenage daughter had a low budget for her purchase so we looked at a bunch of junk cars around the KC metro area before finding Steve. I'd driven by his dealership before but couldn't imagine they had anything in our price range. My mechanic, James at One Stop Motorsorts (awesome place too!), made the recommendation so I called Steve on a Saturday morning and he had an amazing car for us by the end of the day! It has so many amenities and is in great condition! Their cars, showroom and lot are extremely clean, what a contrast to others around town! Sold a truck without inspection. Bought a truck there, drove it to an actual Ford dealer for a total inspection and service ONE week after purchasing it. Had to replace manifolds (warped), had to put in new O2 sensor and spark plugs, within the first 4 months, the Motor went out (this truck has 76k miles) as well as put a new exhaust system as the one they sold was rusted through. Not only was my pickup sold to me without inspection, a friend of mine bought a truck there and while still having temp plates on the truck, had over 4k dollars in transmission work needed.

Yesterday I returned to KC Motor Co for the second time. Over 4 years ago I picked up a great deal on a Sienna from them and was dealt with in the best manner possible. It also struck me those years ago, that other customers there at the same time as me were 2, 3, and 5 time repeat customers. When it came time to get another vehicle, I contacted Steve and Mike and within just a couple days they located and purchased exactly the Highlander I wanted, arranged financing, and made sure everything was ready to go. I couldn't be happier!
Steve and his company are awesome to do business with! I went in to look at a F150 and in a few short minutes Steve had a deal worked up that I felt was fair for my truck and his. There was no back and forth or typical dealer slight of hand , he gave me a number and we were done.

We drove from Omaha, NE to visit 7 dealerships in the KC area. So many of the pre-owned vehicles at other dealerships were filthy. KC Motor Co had vehicles that were very clean. They clearly take pride in their inventory. George was helpful and low-pressure. He even stayed late before a Holiday weekend since we were out-of-towners on a deadline to write up the deal and finish paperwork. We were a bit disappointed that our vehicle only came with one set of keys. However, a couple months after our purchase, we received a package in the mail from KC Motor Co. It was the spare set of keys! This extra measure of customer service is what prompted this 5 star review. I can only imagine that the previous owners found the spare set and kindly turned them into KC Motor Co. Even though they had already sold the vehicle and the deal was done, George and Steve went above and beyond to send us the keys. This happy surprise solidified our satisfaction and experience with KC Motor Co. They are a bit out of the way in the Kansas City metro area, but highly recommend.

Not only did they give a fair price on the Suburban I purchased but when I took the car to another shop to be checked out , They fixed every little thing the shop said was wrong or would be wrong at some point on the vehicle to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle . Just wanted to express my buying experience was with this great friendly service of a dealership. My sales guy was Mike he was very friendly and very honest. I was inquiring about a vehicle that I thought I could not even touch with the vehicle I was leasing. Well it turned out not only could I get out of my lease but I could even purchase the car of my dreams will low miles and great lookn muscle car. Mike walked me through the whole process and it is much better and less time consuming in buying a vehicle than in high profile dealers. Not only did I get my vehicle but they were nice enough to remove my sound system out of my trade in on their dime. Contacted Doug about a vehicle they had on their lot. Doug got back with us immediately and explained their car buying process. We set up an appointment the next day and Doug was waiting there with the vehicle up front and ready to test drive when we arrived. We had been preapproved the night before(per Doug s suggestion) so after our test drive, we made the decision to buy. Doug had everything lined up and ready to sign within minutes. I bought my daughter a car and had such a great experience that I had Steve find a car I wanted. Not only did he find the exact car I wanted, he came in under budget! I plan on buying from him again and I would highly recommend giving these guys a shot.

I just wish the communication between myself and the employees there were better than what they were. I was advised I was going to get a call the same day within a couple of hours so I took off work thinking I'm going to go back and pick up my new car. But I didn't get a call until maybe four days later and I end up calling them.

Professional, courteous, didn't make me feel like I didn't know anything because I'm female. The small (in the scheme of things) issue I had with an oil leaking hose, handled without any issues. Steve, Doug and Phil are awesome to deal with! Hands down the least stressful experience I have had buying a vehicle and will use them to buy my wife's car next year. All of their inventory is clean and good quality. I was able to work out my deal via email primarily and when I came to pick up the truck it took less than 10 min. All paperwork was printed and ready to sign. They even had the truck pulled up with temp tags on it. Could not ask for anything more.
My wife worked with KC Motor Co. to (secretly) purchase a 2004 S2000 entirely out of state. They sent an absolute ton of pictures and the car came exactly as advertised, they even organized the shipping. The car is wonderful, totally rust free, no hidden issues at all.
It was an amazing gift and she or I couldn't be happier with the help MC Motor Co. gave her in getting in.
P.S. I wish i could shake the hand of the previous owner who put over 100k miles on the car but apparently took amazing care of it.

We couldn't be more disappointed with their customer service. We talked with them on the phone three different times to set up a time to look at a specific vehicle. They made promises to stay late and then backed out twice, so we made personal arrangements to be there during their normal business hours just to find out we drove 2 hours and they had sold it that morning. (They knew we were coming) I am still trying to figure out why they couldn't call! We know they had our number.
I called on a vehicle . I gave my contact info and he "sold the vehicle " the night before but never called me back to tell me that. Wasted trip
