Check the temperature of the floatation tank before you pay your R550. It was too hot to bear the day I got in.

We celebrated our 10 years wedding anniversary here & it was spectacular. Too all the staff, I thank you & keep up the good work.

Unbelievable!!!!!! This is honestly the best place I have stayed. You are treated like a king! I had an amazing 3 night stay here.

What an exceptional location and top class facilities. We were well taken care for a rather larger party of 11. Would love to go back at some time to enjoy the serenity of the place.

Situated in pietermaritzburg The route to the is stunning. Streams, fauna and flora. Cars get parked in a parking area and a ranger guide with a ranger vehicle gives u a lift to the spa. The spa has saunas, a hydro pool., with a relaxation area. The spa is located in a nature reserve. Waterfalls, hikes, massages, meals. However, place is over rated price wise. But then the 5 star maintenance of the place impacts on the price.

I was fortunate to be given a gift of a full day spa and safari drive. This place is a hidden jewel behind Pietermaritzburg and well worth a visit.

Flyers of Kaarkloof Safari Villas seen dumped on the Braamfontein Spruit in Johannesburg on 25/07. Tried to contact them but with no luck. Not a great reflection of the supplier and Kaarkloof Safari Villas

This place is fantastic from start to finish!. We had Lucas as our game driver and the superb rolling hills and amazing landscapes creatures and animals kept us enthralled every bit of the way. Thank you Lucas you were amazing.

The spa was equally fabulous, meals were tasty and treatments relaxing.

Absolutely marvelous - a luxurt safari experience par none!

I paid in full for a weekend away , then received an email to say that due to unpaid rent and salaries the spa and villa's have been closed down . The details sent on the email , do not work . How do I go about getting a refund ? This is very upsetting!

I am booked in for the 13th-15th July 2019 with complete payments made. I received an email on the 11 July 2019 stating that the establishment is in arrears and has been closed down. I have tried contacting the owner for more details and more importantly a refund but there is no answer. The website is down and the contact number listed states it does not exist.

This is extremely and utterly disgraceful

Beautiful place. Best Spa I have ever been to. Secluded in a stunning setting. Great treatment options. Not the cheapest but worth it. Also many additional amenities.

Amazing place to visit. The scenery and vibe is awesome. The rooms are amazing. Quality of the food is great. The spa is out of this world. The setup of the spa is like one from another country. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Good game drive with a good ranger to explain everything u need to know.

Thank you to Lawrence and the team, we had an excellent weekend at the spa. The accommodation, food and the spa were all five star rating. The gravel road to the spa was challenging but not impossible. We have stayed at a number of resorts internationally and locally and this was certainly among the best. Well done.
