This is a very nice facility, I frenquent the Gregg Center often, would love to see more urban youth get involved in the sport. Maybe I ll start a team
Awesome facility! Can't wait for my daughters 1st game here!!!
Love it love it love it need more places like this in the city
First class facilities....courtesy thanks to the Kansas City Royals!
This is a top notch organization and ball club. But more importantly this place is making HUGE, POSITIVE IMPACTS in the lives of so many young people. I am proud to be a volunteer for such an organization. World class for sure! Bring your kids on by! Also, let's go ROYALS!
Great facility. However, Games played until 10pm and concessions closed at 6pm.
Great Baseball park for all to enjoy. Job well done!
KCUYA empowers Kansas City's underserved youth ages 6-18 through baseball and softball, academic and social opportunities to be the leaders of tomorrow. They serve females and males. It's such a great facility and non-profit service to KC!
Wow, great place for kids to learn baseball. Amazing facility!
Great facility with plenty of resources fir kids and engaged, helpful staff. A great partnership and a great facility.
Great facility need more games any concession stand that's open
Great facillity for baseball training and excellent staff.
Nice fields, but too many rules and lousy concessions. Very clean bathrooms. Best feature is proximity to Arthur Bryant's.
Very nice facility. The staff and program directors are very nice and involved with kids. We love it!
Went for a retirement party for Mayor James. Huge space
The baseball fields are really nice. I do wish the umpires were better trained or more experienced. They make some ridiculous calls during the games.
Excellent facility. A diamond in the rough. If you are looking for a place to train, this is it.
Best Diamonds in the Inner City and Staff Highly Professional
you know it's a good place but I don't see a lot of urban kids there if it was made for them it should be for them. They have kids coming for Lee' Summit and everywhere else.
This past weekend we played in a Urban Youth Academy baseball tournament. Overall, the facility & experience were both fantastic! Most of the fields we play on are like playing on black top. So, being able to play on a turf field was a welcome experience!
I was a bit worried about parking however the city blocked off a few lanes on Paseo so families could easily park.
Both parking and entrance into the park were both free. I could be wrong but I don't believe the UYA will ever charge a gate fee for tournaments.
Great ball park...all out great sports program for kids.
Nice play to play. Watch out for for bullying. Parentns keep an eye out for your kids.
Nice family and game day! Would definitely go back again.
Absolutely beautiful facility and my daughter loves playing there
I tried calling a lot of times trying to used the fields and they tell me they something plan for the day and it s usally a lie . I live in the area and I have kids in baseball and all I see is kids from suburbs come in and play on those fields and the kids from the area can t even get an opportunity to get on the field..
Wow? What a change and for the better! Big smiles every time I ride past and see this. I do enjoy the games they go on.
I love this place.
The way that they work with the youth in the community is wonderful and they have a after school program for 3rd and 4th graders right now only for KIPP AND KCNA
Great place to watch the world fast pitch tournaments.
Always clean and tidy. Very comfortable atmosphere.
