Very disappointed with there gynecology department. Because I didn't agree with the doctor treatment they tried to violate my rights as a patient and stop me from seeing another gynecologist in the area. I will never go to the Baldwin park center for gynecology. They were not successful I was able to make an appointment at the location I chose.

I wasn t sure what to expect since I ve never had to come here but to my surprise it was a pleasant experience. Everyone for the most part were helpful and polite. Definitely coming back here now.
There is NO getting through to the hospital to check if my mother in law is still even alive! You go round and round in the system. When you FINALLY get a live person about an hour later they say "Oh, let me transfer you." Then you're on hold again for another hour just to get someone else telling you "Let me transfer you." AGAIN and it starts ALL over. TERRIBLE For as high as the cost of member services are you'd think they have more staff. I get that they're dealing with a pandemic but we should at least be able to get an update on our family members.
Came in on 9/15 into ER department about 1130pm waited less than 20 minutes to be seen and was admitted by 7 am due to my illness. I have to say all the nurses and doctors that attended to me till 9/18 when i was finally released went above and beyond to explain everything to me about what was going on with me and the treatment i was getting. I have nothing but praise for the staff that helped me in my recovery!!!
If you are a soon to be mother who ends up going to Kaiser ER just BE AWARE THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL AND RATHER RUSH YOU OUT THEN FULLY EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO YOU OR SAY YOURE GOING TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE WENT FOR A 2ND opinion at a different medical center and had more information given to me and everything explain bout the measurements of the baby as well
Do not come if you need a covid testing, no one is managing the process here, no signs for lining up, people cut in lines, and the parking lot guy was rude and doing nothing, Pasadena location is way better than here. DO NOT COME if you are in urgent need! Thanks Baldwin park Kaiser, for literally caring nothing nothing, so disappointed at this spot
My mom had a light stroke and is blind in her right eye and is in very bad condition. She was taken to emergency. We just have trouble contacting her and communicating with her.
It was my first time here at this facility for my pain. I got bit by a spider in the morning and it was so painful to ignore. Since I was at the El Monte area which was very close to this place kaiser do I decided to come in. It took me almost 4 hrs from the ER to see the doctor FROM THE waiting LINE. There were approximately 25-20 people was waiting. One nurse to fill the questionnaire and one RN to check on you. It was found in very nail slowing paces. Finally, it was my turn to see a Doctor, it took around 5 minutes waiting, and 2-3 minutes diagnosis and questions/answers. He was nice and shoot straight to the points. I got a flu shot after I requested cane very fast with minutes. I waited for another 15-20 for my payment after I asked for a discharge. After that went by, I waited for another 30 minutes for my paperwork so I could get the hell out that place. Nurses went back and forth and some of them just stood there and just talking. I was frustrated so I asked the people at the work stations if they could help me with paper works and send me home. I came to this place at 12 pm and now it was 5.05 pm. Within 2 minutes someone came with my discharged paper and finally a nurse showed up and handed me the papers. I understand that they are professionals, and dedicated to the line of works, they also should follow up with their patients. The pharmacy was nice and cleaned staffs were fast and incredibly awesome friendly. Still, this is my first and last to use this facility.
I was admitted and treated fairly well and took long but understood due to the pandemic. My stay here was my issue. I am type 1 diabetic and need insulin on the regular but during my stay I was either being forgotten or given too little in which made me get sick and stud longer. I understand nurses were busy and have alot on their hands. But when I would ask my nurse when she had down time that I had to use the restroom she wouldn't let me get up even though the doc ordered more walking for me or she wouldn't give water because there was no ice and forget at times to get my insulin. I got sicker being without insulin. I was told by another nurse that the assumed I was type 2. Last thing I wanted or want is to be a diabetic and in a hospital where they confuse me with a different form of the illness which can cause me my life. I appreciate the great nurses that did help change my medications so I can get better and even they called their own workers lazy. After being released my usual medications are locked and can not order them and didn't receive any release forms needed for work release and was not inputed online. I contacted member services and did not find any documents stating my release and couldn't help with my prescription also. Trying to get assistance from anyone is such a heart attack waiting to happen. When leaving the hospital I was also notified that the patient next to me had covid and I could've caught it since we were next to each other for 5 days. They only advice me to contact infection control.???
My family's been coming here for the lactation consultant for the past month because of our daughter having been born November 12, 2020. The parking is actually not bad and the outside of the hospital is very beautiful. The Kaiser staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And me, husband, and my older daughter allowed us to go to my wife's appointment as well which is really nice considering Covid restrictions.
