I went to this business to purchase some lumber for a home I am building. I asked the front office worker twice where the 2x8s were located and was told they were under the shed. I searched the entire shed and loaded up the only 2x8s I could find. The owner drove up and I purposely flagged him down to make sure I loaded up the right lumber. He jumped me right off the bat and said I took the wrong material. I said I went to the area I was told they were at and if someone was in the yard showing me it wouldn t have happened. He told me I could unload his lumber and leave. I am not the biggest contractor around but I will make sure everyone I know doesn t buy as much as a toothpick from this business in the future. You do not treat customers like that period.

Great people to deal with. Friendly and load pretty quick too.

I am not one to complain but this company deserves some opinion ...
Years ago I purchased lumber & stain products (a fair amount I might add) from K & D Forest Products. The products were decent but their customer services was terrible back then.
This week I contacted them to order some more products so the materials would match. I left a message on their voice mail with no return call. Their website said open on Sat for half day but they were closed. They are out of everything I needed, did not know when anything would be back in production and really didn't care whether I was taken care. Again, probably the worst customer care/service/communication I have ever experienced!!! I would highly suggest anyone to reconsider doing business with this place and look at other log home suppliers. They got one star only for decent material when they have it. Their client service and communication deserves nothing.
